Staff will pretend they wanna make your stay the best but will actually do nothing to make that happen, quite the opposite actually. Price is extortionate too and you get terrible service for it. To avoid.

I chose this hostel because of the positive reviews about the owners, but unfortunately found out after the fact that they censor negative reviews so only positive remarks appear. So, today we had 2 hours of waiting until our train to Genova left, so our Italian friend recommended us to go to the bar of this hostel and grab something to eat and drink meanwhile. I now wish we had gone directly to the train station. We ordered the sandwich #2 and #3 but the order got lost in translation and the waiter brought us 2 sandwiches #3. The problem is, I do not eat pork, but since I didn't want to bother anyone I proceeded to start taking the ham out of the sandwich so I could eat...

Good budget value for cinque terre but kind of a sketchy area, near the train station which was what I needed. Shower had trouble getting hot when another person was in the second shower. beds and bathrooms were very nice and common area was cute. Francesco is great!

We have had an amazing experience staying here. Francesco was an absolute babe! To making sure we were safe, and looked after, to giving us an all the recommendations we could ask for and more. He made the experience that much better. The hostel was super clean and cosy, good vibes all round. Would happily stay again and we definitely recommend this place. Great location as close to port and train station.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour aux 5 Terre Backpackers. Francesco est très sympathique et arrangeant : il est possible d'arriver et de partir en dehors des horaires de check-in/out. L'auberge est située à 2 min à pied de la gare, ce qui est très pratique pour aller visiter les 5 Terres. Les chambres sont agréables et la salle commune permet de se retrouver pour manger ou discuter. A noter : il y a un frigo et un micro-onde à disposition. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent ! ...

The hostel is superclean, Francesco really cares about his guests, the location is great and the breakfast is also really nice. Only remarks are the fact that there is no shelf in the shower to put anything (like a razor or shampoo bar) and the stairs to the top bunk are quite terrible. The bed itself is super sturdy though and has a good matress.

Excellent auberge, bonne location à coté de la gare visiter les 5 terres. Auberge également parfaitement propre, avec tout à disposition et ambiance propice à rencontrer d’autres voyageurs bien que l’auberge petite. Francesco est très accueillant et est attaché au fait que l’on passe un bon séjour

The hostel is located straight out of train station, very convenient to reach cinque terre. The owner Francesco is extremely nice welcoming and available, he keeps the place nice and tidy. Every morning of the the stay includes also a great breakfast in the bar downstairs!

I can't really fault this hostel in any way. It's small and intimate, but also very professional. The location is as good as you'd hope for. Beds are comfortable. The bathroom beautiful even. The host was extremely helpful and full of insights about the area. I had the most nutricious breakfast of my trip. If I had to mention one piece of feedback, I wish the breakfast had a little more quantity, even if there were just some plain croissants or something. But I feel greedy for even suggesting it...

Great host, nice breakfast and rt next to the train station but wasn’t loud at night which isn’t always the case when staying near the train station.

The cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in! Francesco treats every guest like it's the first. You can feel his true passion for hosting people – he has so much fun doing it! He helps with planning trips and definitely plan enough days because there's so much to explore.

Top five hostels I’ve ever been to. The hostels is very clean, modern and well thought out. You get a free breakfast each morning of your stay, a really good one. The location is perfect, only a few meters away from the train station, and close to a great amount of places to eat. Francesco is the best host you could ask for, kind and receptive. He would give great directions if needed, and it was always great to chat with him.

Wow wow wow. Can’t describe how amazing this hostel is. Francesco the host was really wonderful and so passionate about the hostel and super knowledgeable about the city. It may be small but it’s perfect for a clean, safe, comfortable stay where you can make life long friends.

Where do I even begin? I couldn't recommend this hostel more!! Firstly, Franchesco is truly an amazing, personable host who cares about your stay. The hostel is beautifully decorated and was kept incredibly clean. I felt so safe and comfortable. He went the extra mile to make sure my stay was amazing, even sitting me down upon arrival to explain his full recommended itinerary for my short trip. The free breakfast was so so good, and the restaurant area is beautiful. 100% reccomend!!
