Vega 43 Hostel

Please avoid, you're unable to use your own locks and either they do not secure the spare keys or a staff member is stealing from guests. I had €50 taken my first night and spoke to three other guests who had money, jewellery and perfumes taken. Emailed them to warn them if the issue and they totally dismissed my concerns and pleas to secure the keys and told me it was my fault. To be clear, the locker was not broken into, I left it locked and had the key on me, my things should have been safe...

Such mixed feelings on this hostel. Pros: very new and modern! The beds are very comfy and the shower is incredible! The female host is so sweet and kind. Cons: LOUD! This hostel needs to be strictly for people looking to party. The way it is set up- there is just no quiet. The bathroom is centered between both dorm rooms so it gets congested and loud til 4 am. It’s not the hostels fault but it was the wordy hostel etiquette I’ve ever experienced. Breakfast needs coffee

Overall the hostel was really good but since I went during the off season it was really dull and wasn’t maintained towards the top as there were just 2 people including me but I believe during peak seasons it would be really fun. Staff were really good, just had a little communication barrier coz of the language but its okay otherwise its a very good hostel. Do visit during peak seasons, wont recommend during off seasons

Overall this hostel is a great choice for solo travellers or friends seeking a relaxed stay in Saranda, perfect as a base for daytrips to many neraby attractions. Still there are some points i personally would change, like a breakfast buffet instead of one same meal for everybody (would allow more options for people with allergies or vegetarians), more storage in the showers and a more quiet music on the terace. Don't forget earplugs for an early sleep!

Nice and clean hostel. Definitely needs more toilets and showers, there were only 2 showers and 2 toilets, but other than that everything was alright

The hostel is really nice. The beds are excellent and very comfortable. The breakfast is simple but tasty. The staff is very friendly. However, there aren’t enough bathrooms, and the social area could be a bit more comfortable.

very modern and clean, perfectly located, super Social vibe and you can always chill on the terrace. Great for partying and making plans as well. Only negative thing is there is only one bigger bathroom so it might get crowded. Breakfast is not vegan friendly.

A decent hostel for a night stop in Sarande after getting the ferry over. The staff were great and stayed up longer for us to check in, but two showers for the entire place isnt enough

Good stay, family owned business! Nice, chill , social vibe but can also party if you please. The guys working at the hostel are very accomodating, make your drinks, call taxis for you etc. My only recommendation would be for bathrooms to get another clean at nighttime. Otherwise beds, sheets and shower is amazing.

The girls dorm room was big and the beds were incredible. There’s only 1 bathroom and 1 shower for the girls, but was never a problem and I never had to wait to go to the bathroom or shower. The shower have a door that locks and it’s huge! The only thing I could be disappointed it was the fact that the door of the rooms are always open and nobody locks it. For myself I feel safe, but about my belongings I had to put everything on the locker every time I go out, because anyone entry

This hostel was amazing. It is new, comfortable, clean and centrally located (a few minutes walk to the ocean and the bus stop). The owners, July and his brother, were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was included which was a lovely surprise! The kitchen had everything you might need. I loved my stay here! The owner is the sweetest guy and is so welcoming. The rooms are big and clean and have all the amenities you can dream of. I would absolutely stay here again :)

The place was amazing! Super clean, new building, the staff was so so kind and helpful, the receptionist was there anytime i needed him. The vibe was so good , everything was close to the location. You can walk everywhere. Would definitely come back!

wunderschönes Hostel in Saranda, alles perfekt erreichbar und sehr nette Leute dort! Sogar das erste und einzige Hostel in dem ich bis jetzt in Albanien war mit Föhn!🤭alles Top! Man bekommt auch gute Tipps was man unternehmen soll :) sehr zu Empfehlen, auch die Terrasse ist wunderschön!!!

Everything was so good - 100% recommended and all get your guide activities I did was just 3 mins walk. Xhuli was extremely helpful

I was looking a hostel near the beach.. found the perfect spot.. hostel is so clean and nice.. everything is perfect in the hostel

We visited during low season and ended up extending the stay. The owner is incredible helpful and super friendly!! The dorm rooms are quite large but the room and bathroom were always clean. Location is great as well!

Very nice place, everything was very new and clean. Big comfortable beds with curtains all around. The big lockers were great. The owners are really nice and accommodating. Overall a great stay, would definitely recommend!!!

I was the only guest in the hostel because of winter, but I was taken care of, the host was really nice. Really calm place when you’re alone. The bed is amazingly comfortable, the showers and bathroom are really clean.

The hostel looks brand new. I was there off season and the owners were busy making upgrades. The owners were super friendly and English speaking. Blocks from everything (beach, downtown, restaurants, groceries) Showers were awesome too

I stayed a week and loved it. Everything is brand new, spacious, and clean. Showers are great. Privacy is sufficient. Staff friendly. Close to everything. No complaints here 👌🏻

A modern looking hostel with large dorms and spacious purpose made beds with privacy curtains. It is also close to the bus station and promenade.

Everything is new. Beds are great. Sheets are soft. Everything is cleaned regularly. The night staff doesn't seem to want to be there. No volunteers so English is a problem. Besides the lockers, there isn't any real security. Overall, I would come back again.

Fun hostel. staff is nice and social. good lowkey hostel. a lack of security n locks but i mean dont really need it here. but it was fun and everyone went out together. not enough showers though
