Hostel Ibedcity

I have stayed here before and it was excellent. I have given 5 stars to all except atmosphere. A school group from France were staying and very rude and noisy. They made loud noises till midnight the first night despite asking adults to observe quiet time. The manager spoke to them and they were quiet after 2200 each night after but running and yelling, singing and making do much noise till then. They also took over the kitchen and very difficult to prepare anything. No room at the table either.

Great hostel! Lovely location. 0 atmosphere, but so close to Santa Claus Village and great for Northern Lights. Great staff and comfy beds

I had a wonderful stay here, it was perfect for what I wanted. It’s nearby the airport so was a short taxi ride. It’s under a 30 minute walk to Santa clause village and it’s a super pretty walk. There’s also a bus into Rovaniemi town but I used a taxi. And there are shops nearby which are also a really nice 5-10 minute walk. There’s actual hostel was super lovely, staff were lovely and there was a kitchen and hang out space where you could meet fellow travellers who were all great!

highlights were the sauna, its the only hostel here so make sure to plan around the location - you will need to use taxis to get to the city for activities, there is a bus too but its a bit of a walk. For food there is a kitchen and a shop nearby, it is possible to walk to the airport from here but not the train station.

I never saw a staff member during my stay. The hostel was very nice, love the beds. Felt very private and safe. Location is good if you are renting a car, if not maybe look for another place.

A great place to stay. Close to Santa Claus village and airport. Bus 8 stop just up the road into the city.

I would've liked a little outdoor seating area, like a bench or something like that, but overall it was super nice to visit in summer! Clean, bright, spacious and the sauna was very nice.

Ok for a day or two but honestly hard to recommend. Pretty far from the city center and the nearest bus stop is a good 10-15 min walk away. WiFi was pretty weak and there was nothing to do at the hostel (no tv, etc). The bathroom was really clean and staff were receptive and responsive to questions over the phone tho!

Clean, comfortable, quiet in the summer, nice staff and close to the santa Claus village.

highly recommended place to stay being in rovaniemi

It came up a bit short. Was in a difficult to reach situation. I was glad I hired a car. The communal areas very small and not super comfortable - just an eating area, nowhere else to relax. Lots of faculties ‘on hold’ . Cooker, stover etc. this seemed ridiculously mean, there’s no food served and shops are quite far, so everyone cooking had to use the microwave (only one!). Couldn’t cook pasta, eggs etc. Sauna - ubiquitous in Finland - only available if minimum numbers and extra cha...
