Kiko's Hostel

Do not book this Hostel unless you arrive before 6pm, otherwise you can not check-in. I booked after 6pm and when I arrived at the hostel, nobody opened the door and I needed to find another place. Therefore i had a bad experience with this place even when it might be a nice hostel.

Asked to take shoes off but floor still filthy. No window in bed room so smell of stale sweat always. Other guests loud at night. No good third spaces just an area outside the front which is on the noisy main road.

Would not recommend at all. The hostel is disgusting, the floors are constantly filthy, the small bathroom was never cleaned properly as the same hairs were in the sink the whole stay, the bathrooms and rooms smelt terrible, the air-con is broken, the doors don’t shut properly which is unsafe, the curtains fall down constantly including in the middle of the night which is so dangerous. Don’t listen to the positive reviews please it really was one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed in.

Generally not clean. You have to take off your shoes, which is normal but you would expect a clean floor which was not the case. Beard hair all over the sink for three days giving a hint that it had not been cleaned at all. An unpleasant smell was present at all times and there was a girl making „content“ in the shower every evening. Curtains in the rooms let the light through and they fell off easily.

Super unclean hostel, needs a good deep clean. Stayed one night, and then moved to a hotel.

Not a good hostel. This one really needs work. One of my least favorite hostels I’ve stayed in. The staff is not attentive when checking in. The bathroom is next to the kitchen and people are getting ready in kitchen. No place to put towels or clothes or anything, getting ready on floor. The showers don’t drain. Not much security to in dorm room. It’s open for people to go in. I would not recommend at all

I would love to rate this hostel higher, but the mattress was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on, even after years of traveling in hostels. The metal springs dig into every inch of your body, making it so uncomfortable that I considered rebooking in the middle of the night. The area is busy and boring. The only plus is the lady at the front desk; she was the best. The hostel is very small, with only two showers and two toilets. I paid 73 USD for two nights :(

It was very nice and calm. The staff were nice. The room could have been a bit cleaner. The curtains kept falling down and you only get a thin blanket to sleep with. But central location!

Our experience in the hostel was negative, communication with the staff was not very smooth. The second night there seemed to be a big issue with electricity going off and back on. It seemed pretty dangerous: some of the lights and fans looked like they were about to catch fire. We did not finda safety switch for the building while the main door couldn't be open for over half an hour, being de facto closed in the hostel. It was also very dirty

Showers clogged all the time and not clean at all.

very clean and good facilities but not very social

Super hostel, bon emplacement, et le faite qui est la piscine dans l’autre hosstel c’est vriament un+ ! Sun Sun c’est la best, trop gentille et incroyable La dame de chambre est vraiment incroyable, les fruits tout les matins sont bons, micro ondes à disposition, top du top

Really friendly staff and helpfull. It's a quiet hostel, but you can join there partner hostel witch is really social and where you can meet some people:)

Good hostel for a more chill time. Got only a small entrance area to chill at a table or beanbags and outside on chairs. Has a microwave and fridge which is special and nice. Also cutlery and dishes are there. Loved the free fruits in the morning. Beds are super big enough and comfy. Nice curtains and lights in there was happy with the space in the dorms. 8 dorm is very good, 12/14 is okay and very cheap with bathrooms inside. Always clean very nice lady too! So polite and smiley. reps also

FANTASTIC stay at Kiko’s hostel. Shoutout to Saiparn the absolute BEST receptionist I have ever met. Her energy and dedication to making sure we felt welcome was incredible. The location is great and the nearby party partner hostel is also a great place to meet people and hangout if you want to be social. 10/10 from me!

Great hostel with amazing staff! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I even forgot my passport, and they kindly sent it to me all the way to Bangkok. Really appreciate their honesty and care – highly recommend!

+ Schwesterhostel Kohmunity 10/10 (Pool, Sitzmöglichkeiten, Events, etc.) => lieber das buchen (meiste Zeit dort verbracht) + kleiner Essbereich (Mikrowelle, Tee, Kaffee) - nicht viel Aufhängemöglichkeiten & Stauraum - nur kleine Safes & keine Zimmerschlüssel - nicht social (Aufenthaltsbereich auch eher klein)

Nice chilled hostel, not a lot of atmosphere but can go down the road to there sister hostel

was a really nice hostel! i started out booking a week and ended up staying 2.5 weeks. it had a good level of socializing without being a party hostel, but you can go to the sister hostel kohmunity if you want to party. good location, close to lots of food and like a 15 minute walk to the beach. staff and volunteers were great and the place was kept really clean

Lovely rooms and bed was good! Chill but the vibes were a bit weird. Very quiet and staff were mostly quiet or missing at times. Good facilities though, loads of bathrooms and space outside to hang wet beach stuff. Plus you can use sister hostel's pool which is great.

I stayed at Kikos Hostel and unfortunately my experience was a bit disappointing. The bathrooms were quite dirty, and having only two showers and two toilets felt like too few; they are also shared and not separated by gender. The lockers were too small for backpacks and not located in the rooms, so belongings were often left around, making it feel cluttered. The staff wasn’t very helpful, the hostel lacked a social atmosphere, and there was an unpleasant smell in some areas.
