There was a house party and karaoke directly next to the room. I chose this hostel because the reviews said it was totally silent despite of its location. I didn’t sleep a single second thanks to those reviews. If you’re only here for party: Great! If you want to use your room for sleeping: Stay as far away from here as possible, worst night of my life!

Pictures and information about the hostel on hostel world were completely fake and not representative of where you’ll be staying. Disappointing to the reality of our room. Host was very knowledgeable but overbearing. Great location for night life and getting around town for tourist activities during the day. Doesn’t accept card. Being lied to is unforgivable however

Our room was directly above a karaoke bar (open until 4 a.m., once until 6 a.m.). We didn't sleep for three nights due to the noise. Not recommended.

Very disappointing. Sandor, the owner, intensely reprimanded us and suggested we were rude Americans after we put used towels in a washing machine in our flat. He was disrespectful and condescending. For the rest of our stay, we walked on eggshells to avoid triggering him again. Days later, he apologized but still implied we had done wrong. This was the largest of a few issues with him. Otherwise, the hostel is average or below with uncomfortable beds and hairs on the sheets. Would not return.

Great location right on the party strip and in the Jewish district and centre of everything. Incredibly quiet, I’m a light sleeper and even I slept despite being so close to the parties. The pictures did not match our accommodation and I can only assume this is because we booked a private room as opposed to a dorm room. -1 star for a 40 minute speech that made us miss our dinner reservations and walking tour. -1 star for saying you take card when you only take cash. -1 star for insisting that...

Location is good and the host is super nice. However it is extremely noisy due to a pub at the basement. It plays loud music throughout the night. During my 2 nights stay I barely slept even with ear buds.

조용히 머물길 원한다면 이 곳을 추천하기는 어려울 것 같습니다. 밤에 따로 숙소지킴이가 없어 조금 위험하다 느끼는 순간들이 있었습니다. 아랫층 가라오케에서 밤새 노래를 불러 제끼는 바람에 새벽한시에 다른 옆집으로 짐을 옮겨야만 했습니다. 침대가 무척 작습니다.자다가 떨어질 뻔 했네요, 평점이 꽤 높아 이 곳을 선택하였는데, 주인장분의 친절함 말고는 이 호스텔�...

Really great hostel, the rooms was comfy and the host Sandor was really helpful.

Ich hatte einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in diesem Hostel. Der Host war äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, was meinen Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Die Zimmer waren sauber und komfortabel, und die Atmosphäre im Hostel war sehr angenehm. Die zentrale Lage war ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Ich kann dieses Hostel nur wärmstens empfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen!"

The location of this hostel absolutely cannot be beaten, as it puts you right in the heart of the city with everything just a short walk away. It is really good value for the quality of the stay, and the owner was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, offering fantastic recommendations for things to see and do. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Budapest!

Hostel ubicado en un edificio en el corazón del distrito judío. Esto implica que hace unos años atrás cientos de personas se encontraban viviendo ahí hacinadas en contexto de Segunda Guerra mundial. Cada pared cuenta una historia diferente, y se escucha claro. Recomendable hospedaje, liderado por Sandor, su amable y respetuoso casero. Hotel super, très bien placé et très propre. On y est bien conseillé pour les visites de la ville et les adresses culinaires.

Good overall but dont forget to bring some ear plugs to sleep well bcs of the lively location.

Best hostel you could wish for in the city of Budapest; the owner Sandor is incredibly kind and passionate about the city, we can not wait to come back!

Avail Hostel is super great, and the other reviews was not lying. Sándor is an extremely caring and serviceminded host, and although there was some noise Saturday night, we slept through it ☺️ Will be coming her again!

Fantastic place, amazing location and absolutely unbeatable and kind hosting / service. 😍 (It's true that at least some rooms are adjacent to loud karaoke at night as noted in the only low review so far, but if you know the area, plan to go out and/or plan for this it shouldn't be a problem.)

Best accommodation for this price and a host with an immense amount of knowledge about Budapest. Highly recommended.

Soggiorno perfetto! L’ostello è in una posizione centralissima, pulito e dotato di ogni comfort: non ci è mancato davvero nulla. Un ringraziamento speciale all'host, Sandro, una persona dolcissima, gentile e super disponibile: ci ha accolti con una mappa della città, dandoci consigli preziosi e rispondendo a ogni nostra domanda o dubbio con estrema pazienza. Se torneremo a Budapest, questo sarà sicuramente il nostro punto di riferimento. Super consigliato!
