Honestly, wouldn’t recommend. The place is quite new and feels unfinished. The toilets were dirty and I had 3 people having sex in the dorms. It’s probably fun if you are 20 y/o looking for that kind of things. Location is bad and hard to get a tuktuk with pickme.

Honestly, this hostel feels unfinished and not thought through.. nowhere to hang your wet clothes/towel, curtains on beds almost dont work and falls off, really noisy dors to both out of the room and to the bathrooms (and it’s so loud you can hear people pee while in bed), locker on top bunk is to tall and impossible to use, nowhere to relax, showers are supersmall and low pressure water.. just a neverendig list honestly, for a new hostel. The owners are seems like lovely people and good vibe...

Great hostel

This was such a lovely property and so reasonable. It was a bit far out of Ahangama but it didn’t bother us as the staff were so nice, the property was clean, and it was just a lovely place to stay!

Very pretty hostel, it is very peaceful and relaxing in the trees and sun! The pool is great for lazy days too. The rooms were nice with privacy curtains and space to store belongings too. Staff were nice and you can buy drinks and there are occasionally family dinners (I believe they are trying to make them more regular?!) one issue is it is quite far out from the beach, about a 40 minute walk however you can get a tuktuk relatively easy. Lots of potential for a new hostel !

It’s a nice place to stay even though it’s still missing a few things like bean bags or yoga beds. A bit outside of Ahangama so you definitely need a scooter or take a tuk tuk.

It looks amazing. It is clearly brand new and the owners thought about the big picture. Not just for the property itself but also community wise they have great ideas for the future. Quality stuff, pretty colors, nice pool and garden, good beds, big lockers, friendly staff, water point. It is not close to the center but that is what i liked. You can have a really nice morning walk around the fields into the lush backstreets.

This was a wonderful stay!! My friend is not experienced with staying in hostels and she was so impressed. The staff were friendly and the dorms and restrooms were kept clean. The hostel was also social without anything feeling forced so you could keep to yourself if you wanted to. Would stay here again if I get the chance to go back to Sri Lanka

Probably the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed at, and the rooms / beds are really spacious. Met some great people - Loved it here 💗

Honestly one of the best hostels we stayed in! It is a very nice accommodation, but the people working there make it feel like home. They are not only very helpfull but also very connecting; we started as strangers but ended like on big family. Especially Osanda did a great job for this. We were planning to leave 3 days ago but extended 3 more nights because the staf just made us feel that we were on the right place with the right people.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft mit einem tollen Pool. Die Zimmer bieten viel Platz. Das Hostel ist ein bisschen ausserhalb von Ahangama aber mit dem Roller oder Tuk-Tuk sehr schnell erreichbar.

Such an incredible stay. It honestly felt like I was in a hotel or resort, the facilities are so modern and the hostel is regularly kept clean. My only limitation is I would have liked soap/shower gel in the bathroom but that’s literally it. I didn’t mind it was a bit far out, tuk tuks were so cheap into town and easy to get hold of with pickme. Nice social vibe and family dinner also good.

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in the south!! Lucky u feels like family, the staff are so lovely, and the food is just on another level. Thanks to all of you 🫶🏻

So nice being in such a new hostel, the beds are the comfiest and bathrooms the best I’ve had all my travels. The pool is perfect with the Sri Lanka heat, especially when the volleyball net goes out. Will be back for sure!

So good! Booked for 2 days and stayed for 10.! Felt like we found a real family in Ahangama. The staff and owners are all amazing and make you feel so welcome. Place is beautiful, clean and social while not being over the top or in your face. Would recommend 1000 times over. Thank you Lucky U fam

New hostel but great vibes. Feels like it’s been there for a while. Staff is cool and lots of activities. very social but not a party only hostel.

I had such a nice stay here and it was basically as the pics show. The bathrooms were very new and clean. The beds were comfy and had little spaces around for storing stuff. There were lots of activities organised during the stay. Also the pool was great after walking back to the hostel from the beach.

what an experience! just one word:family! and it was very big! i extended like 6 or 7 nights..the hostel is amazing, owners amazing, people working there amazing, activities so special (we watched also the most epic cricket game in galle). i can just recommend to anyone! good job guys! i’ll come back

I loved this hostel. The staff is super friendly, the place is very beautiful and comfortable and they do amazing activities. Overall welcoming, chilled and social vibe. I would definitely recommend if you’re in Ahangama!
