Kandy Krush Hostel

Personnel très gentil et sociable.je n’ai pas aimé le café glacée. Chambre très propre (dorms mix) salle de bain avec papier de toilette et bidet mais énormément de fourmis sur la bol. Quelques prises électriques communes seulement pour 6 lits dans la chambre. Emplacement difficile à marcher pour monter de la ville;’facile à redescendre en inclinaison. Je n’ai pas eu le temps d’utiliser la piscine donc dur à dire.‘emplacement calme. Mes pâtes au poulet étaient très bonn...

Overall, the place was great. Spectacular view with an amazing pool. It only needs to update the air conditioning unit, as it is a bit noisy. It’s also a little outside the downtown area, but easily accessible by tuk-tuk. Worth the distance though, as the place offers a great panoramic view. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Nice Hostel with VERY kind staff. You really feel at home and the vibes are great + the food is always cooked fresh for you which makes it taste even better 😊 Even tho its kind of far from the city, it has a nice view but its kind of difficult to get a tuktuk. Thank you! :)

This hostel is absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect — super clean, comfortable rooms, a great kitchen, and an incredible pool. The best part was definitely the staff, who were so welcoming and caring that I truly felt like part of their family. The atmosphere was unforgettable, and I could have easily stayed here for a month. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional stay!

I had an amazing stay at Kandy Krush! Jay is wonderful guy and the hostel is very social. Super clean pool, rooms and beds with comfy white blankets. It honestly feels like a hotel. Breakfast was great and the kottu was really delicious! The day tour they arranged was excellent value. Highly recommend.

Locatie super hoog op een berg, bijna niet te bereiken met tuktuk. Als je wat wilt eten heb je een probleem want de keuken was dicht in de avond en het dichtstbijzijnde restaurant is een half uur lopen door de bergen. De volgende middag wilden we wat lunchen omdat de keuken toen wel open was maar toen hadden ze de helft niet. De kamer is prima en het personeel heel vriendelijk.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Histel nur weiter empfehlen!!!

Staff were lovely in arrival and the pool was clean. The view was lovely from the pool. Building was a different colour to the photos (it’s white and not purple) and not all cars can get up the hill to the place. The room was disgustingly dirty, with ants all running around the room and bathroom. It smelt unpleasant and the bedding wasn’t all fresh. I’m glad we made this one night instead of the planned two

Staff were all very attentive and lovely, but sadly the services provided did not live up to expectation. The wifi was absolutely abysmal (for everyone, not just me) and there is little service otherwise in the incredibly remote location. Rickshaw and taxi drivers repeatedly got lost trying to find the hostel too, or refused to take people up the ‘too steep’ hill. The hot water didn’t work in the dorm shower despite being assured that it did. Not a terrible experience but Kandy has better.

the nicest and most chill hostel I went to in Sri Lanka, all the staff were amazing, pool was great, nice view of the mountains. perfect place to stay in Kandy. can't recommend enough!

best hostel ive stayed at for ages, the free breakfast and free dinner is incredible. the pool and the services are great, it has the nicest staff aswell. the only slight issue that should be raised is how steep of a hill it is that you have to climb

The best hostel in Sri Lanka! Great pool, great free breakfast and dinner. Very social, very chill and the manager Jay is literally the nicest, kindest person I’ve ever met! Highly recommend :)

overall good hostel with a great view and a nice swimming pool. they only put the snacks for the whole hostel on my name where i needed to pay for? i didnt understand that. also the door of our room was broken, so at a moment we cant get out of the room with us all. needed to scream from the balcony.

a lovely hostel with an amazing view and a pool too! great social vibe, staff were very friendly, even giving us a free ride into town. a little hard to get to, and there was only 1 bathroom in the room and none in the lobby

Loved our stay here! The free dinner + breakfast were both amazing and brought everyone together. Same with the pool. Even got a free ride to the bus station! Staff were amazing and beds were comfy — bathrooms felt like hotel bathrooms. Only thing is it’s far from town, but the views are worth it!

Decent, simple hostel. Pros include hot water, good AC, beds are comfy and the pool is nice. Good atmosphere and the food is good. Cons would be the location, it’s pretty but not walkable to anywhere.
