Hostal Don Moisés

Such a lovely little family run hostel. The place is clean and comfortable, and really well located for exploring Copán Ruinas. The owner is so lovely, really friendly and chatty. The breakfast is the best I've ever had in a hostel, homemade traditional Honduran dishes, and a great portion.

It was truly an amazing stay! The family who owns the hostel is absolutely amazing and makes you feel like you are part of the family as well. The hostel has an amazing terrace view and clean and good facilities. 100% recommended.

One of my all time favorite stays. Amada and her family are incredibly welcoming and it felt like I had a family the entire time I was there. Location is amazing, super close to Central Park. The terrace is perfect for hanging, writing, socializing, cooking, watching sunsets. And there are also dumbbells and some weights for working out (which I did every day). I had a private room with my own bathroom and everything was perfectly clean. They even have laundry! Perfect stay. 10/10.

The house hostess is very kind and friendly. There was no aircon or fan in our room and one of the two beds was overworked and very saggy and noisy and there is also a sports bar directly above so loud games and music till late. Washroom had a bit of a sketchy toilet that took a few flushes to clear but the shower pressure and temperature was excellent.

I felt like I was at home! I would really recommend.

Felt like a home away from home. The family running the place was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. There’s an awesome rooftop terrace with a shared kitchen, tables to eat and hang out at, and a beautiful view of the sunset with macaws flying in the distance. The rooms and facilities were also very clean. Highly recommend this hostel!

The property is very convenient, located in the center of Copan. The family that owns the hostel is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. It felt like a home away from home. There is a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view and a nice shared kitchen. The rooms and facilities were always clean, overall this is a great hostel and the best place to stay in Copan. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through.
