Cool hostel and staff, lots of mosquitos at night and could hear the music from the bar though

Asha Hostel is one of the best value-for-money places I’ve found in Costa Rica. The place is very well maintained, with separate male/female showers. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. There’s also a mini market on site and great advice for tours. Big plus for the laundry service and a favorite for the outdoor bar: drinks, cocktails, shishas, board games—perfect for meeting people. The owner is very friendly and has taken in two puppies and a kitten.

Realmente aprecio el calido trato del personal y de los dueños, la propiedad esta super céntrica y muy equipada con servicio de lavandería y una cocina completa, regaderas separadas y baños, ademaás cuenta con su propio hookah bar y está a 200 metros del super mercado más cercano.

Honnêtement il y a un vrai besoin de revoir l’intimité dans cet hostel. Pas de porte de chambre (ce sont des rideaux), pas de locker, pas de rideau pour les lits, pareil pour les douches. L’hostel est aussi un bar. Donc n’importe qui peut entrer et sortir qui n’est pas de l’hostel, avec vos affaires a dispo. Il y a des petits chiens et chats mais le proprio y fait peut attention donc ils peuvent faire leurs besoins dans les dortoirs …. Oui oui. Les gens sont gentils mais ce n’est...

I had an excellent stay at Asha Hostel in La Fortuna! Great location, very clean, and the staff were super friendly. Amazing value for the price, highly recommended!
