The Highdogs Hostel

The best hostel that I’ve been to. The bathrooms is super clean and you have everything that you need! The beds is the most comfy that I saw in a hostel by far, and the bad sheets was super clean and super good smell! In the downstairs they have a super cozy coffee shop with smoothies and really good coffee, you have also a exterior area with bean bags to chill, and the staff is 10 stars, they are there for everything that you need. Thank you for everything and for sure I will be back!

Overall everything went well, the staff is nice and the dormitory is very quiet. However, as there are many people, the mess and dirt accumulate easily. The bathroom is a little small compared to the number of beds, so you have to anticipate to be sure to have a free shower. At the end of the day the bathroom can be particularly dirty. Despite everything, the hostel is very quiet, but it is not suitable for meeting people because there is not really common areas.

Our experience staying at High Dogs Hostel was extremely disappointing. As a group of travellers, we were looking forward to a comfortable and welcoming stay, but unfortunately, that was not the case. First and foremost, the hygiene standards were very poor. The cleanliness throughout the hostel left a lot to be desired, and the condition of the toilets was particularly concerning—they had one of the worst smells we’ve ever encountered.

Simply the BEST Hostel in Phi Phi island. Bruno (the owner) personally overseas what’s going on and makes sure travelers are welcomed ! Thank you so much for your kindness, energy and great tips regarding activities to do. Best of luck Bruno, you ROCK !

This is my favourite hostel that I have stayed in on any trip! Bruno and the whole team are so welcoming and are happy to help with any issue or suggestions. The hostel gave off a caring family vibe, where everyone would chill together, including the staff. I could not fault my stay at all and if I come back to Thailand I will make sure to visit here again for a catch up :) Facilities were great and always clean, everyone respected the rules and treated their stay with good intentions

Had a great stay, the owner is a super nice guy who will help you with anything you need, the rest of the staff are also super friendly and welcoming. The beds were set up nicely to make you feel like you have your own privacy. Would defo stay again

The best hostel so far, beds Super comfortable and spacious, the cleaner is there all the time cleaning, the most clean hostel i’ve stay, the receptionist is super cute and always there to help you, the location is perfect not in the noise part of the island and really close to the view point without stairs to reach, they open a coffeeshop downstairs that you can grab a really good coffee! The owner and his Brazilian friends sit in front of the Hostel at all times, are often very loud and smoke most of the time. Nothing wrong with that, but by that there was no place to meet other travelers. There is not 3 Dorms but only one large Dorm - ALL Beds are in the same room. The Beds are still quite comfortable and the AC is working very well. The bathroom gets cleaned every morning - but it still was quite dirty in the evenings. The door is open all through the day and anyone can enter

Bruno is a great host. Despite only being around for a few months this hostel is perfect for a base in Phi Phi.

Hey, the best hostel in Koh Phi Phi by far! So yeah if you wanna visit Phi Phi with the best atmosphere possible, book The Highdogs, was my second hostel on the island, for sure the best! Enjoy your trip with Highdogs 😉

Really great stay at Highdogs, a more relaxed atmosphere than the party hostels but still a nice social feeling. Very modern with huge beds & having only opened a few months ago, do not be put off by the lack of reviews - I would 100% be back!
