Dinna Nature Hostel

Clean cute, jungle hostel rooms! Bed was comfy and AC was strong in the 3 bed room. Wifi didnt work for me. Appreciate the affordable accommodation! I stayed in April which is apparently low season so no one else was there, I went to Roy’s Villa everyday to join their activities and family dinner. Location is far away from the town (tho the town is small) so plan to do most of your activities/meals with Dinna or Roys hostel!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Dinna is absolutely amazing, making you feel like family the minute you arrive. He arranged so much for me & took me to a delicious dinner spot too. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a beautiful local experience!

Dinna was truly the best host we ever met. He took care of us, arranging the best activities around Sigiriya. And the food he makes is absolutely delicious : I already miss it a lot. Thank you so much for making our dreams come true !

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie in einer Familie gefühlt. Wir haben zusammen gekocht, tolle Ausflüge gemacht und wurden immer herzlich und liebevoll behandelt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und absolut sicher gefühlt – die beste Hostel-Erfahrung, die wir je hatten. Vielen Dank für alles!❤️🫶🏼

Es war super entspannt. Wir haben im Tree House geschlafen es war super cool nur war es manche Nächte etwas kalt, eine Decke mehr dann passt das. Dinna hat uns eine Safari organisiert, die war klasse. Allgemein hat uns Dinna immer Fahrer organisiert oder hat uns selbst überall hingebracht.

my fav hostel experience ever!! dinna and his family were so lovely and welcoming. food was amazing and loads of activities could be booked through the hostel. he helped us arrange onward transport, scooter rental etc. treehouse room was really cool!

What a great time there! Dinna is a such wonderful person. Food is homemade and delicious. The place is beautiful, a little paradise. The dormitory in the tree house is very cool. I recommanded 100% Thanks Dinna for everything!

Dinna and his family are the kindest hosts I've ever had in years of staying in hostels and homestays. I was sick while I was staying and they took such good care of me, helping me get hold of some medication, bringing me hot water and lemon and makings sure I had eaten. They also arranged all activities at a good price, gave great suggestions and helped me plan onward travel. The treehouse is comfy and atmospheric. Outdoor shower is lush. Everyone I met here was really lovely. 10/10!

Can't thank the team at Dinna enough, especially Dinna himself. We stayed for 3 nights, Dinna was great, fun and was the true definition of Sri Lankan hospitality. He organised a fantastic TukTuk driver for us (shoutout to Nalaka) and we had a fun evening playing Carom. The hostel is ideally situated a 5 min walk from Roy's Villa too. Thanks for making Sirigiya so memorable.

The stay at Dinna‘s hostel was amazing and Dinna is very polite and so helpful. We loved the Jungle atmosphere at the hostel, especially from the tree house. The cooking class was also a great experience and the food there is so yummy!

Very nice place to stay. Surrounded by nature. Easy way to get to city center. Great helpfull staff especially Dinna who will make you smile! Played boardgames together and had a village tour which was lovely. Simpel beds, clean bathroom and very cute.

The property was really nice and very unique. It had its own style which was cool and very nature like. Dinna was an amazing host who drove us to most places due to the remoteness of the location and his cooking class was excellent and even by the end of our trip me and my sister are yet to find anything like it.

Hatte eine tolle Zeit bei Dinna. Die Unterkunft ist zwar etwas außerhalb gelegen aber das war kein Problem. Dinna hat mir mit der Planung der Aktivitäten geholfen und Tipps gegeben. Er hat mich mit dem TukTuk zum Bus oder zum Fahrradverleih gefahren. Abendessen hatte ich immer bei ihm und war so lecker - besonders das Kottu. Wir waren gemeinsam im See schwimmen und durfte am Abend mit ihnen Carrom spielen. Hatte eine schöne Zeit in seinem Hostel, sehr zu empfehlen!

We had a great time a Dinna Nature Hostel! Dinna is very helpful with any kind of questions or activities you would like to do but at the some time doesn’t push you to book something with him. We would definitely recommend to stay with him :)

Great hostel for being in nature. The owner has very good connections, and looks out for you! We walked around the area and saw rabbit, squirell, rice fields, water lizard, peacocks, hawk :)

PROS: The owners are very nice and help with everything you need. Breakfast is ok. Late check in was facilitated. CONS: the bed was not so comfortable, in the photos you can not see it but the bedroom is only 3 walls and the 4th is open to the nature, that brings bugs and cold inside. the water in the shower was super cold and there were some bugs in the bed, cleaning can be improved. It is in the middle of nowhere, you will need always tuktuk to go anywhere. I think it is overpriced.

It is nearly impossible to wipe the smile from our host Dinna's face. His best trait is the way he makes you feel at home and it seems like nothing is bothering him, even though plans change endlessly. He was always there to help us out with whatever desires we had. He and his wife treated us like royals in their self-built home. His motto: always be happy is what he stands by... And so it happens that we leave this cute place with a big smile. Go support this amazing couple.

My stay at the hostel was amazing! I couldn’t have wished for better hosts. Dinna and his friends were incredibly welcoming — they helped me with everything, showed me some great spots around Sigiriya, and made an amazing breakfast! I’d definitely come back again:)

Dinna is amazing, and his place is fabulous. This is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed in my life and I hope I can come back some day- he has created an incredible vibe. The rooms are comfortable and clean, bathrooms are great, and the social space is delightful. Would absolutely recommend a stay here, don’t miss it!
