Had a private room, very basic and no AC but it did the job. Bathrooms weren’t the best, often not the cleanest and showers had no hot water and the pressure was terrible so I really struggled to wash my hair. Seemed friendly enough and staff were helpful although no one was around to help me check out even after ringing the bell multiple times, which was rather frustrating as I had some trouble with my bus times changing and needed advice about boats to Saracen pier.

+ Tolle Stimmung, sehr nette Menschen, hilfsbereites Personal und neues, sauberes Hostel.
+ Nous avons beaucoup aimé l’emplacement! La chambre était bien, mais le matelas creusait un peu. C’est tout près de la plage, une vue sur la mer, et tout près du village où manger dans les nombreux bons restaurants de l’île (tout est près dans un si petit village). Les bénévoles qui y travaillaient pendant notre séjour étaient très sympa et les activités organisées chaque soir étaient très fun! Un gros plus pour les adorables chiens!! Je dirais qu’il manque un peu d’amour dans l’établissement en soi, mais rien qui fasse en sorte que je n’y retournerais pas! :)

I liked this hostel. It was cheap and close to where you can see the plankton. The dogs are friendly, the bathrooms are as clean as they can be considering they’re outside. You get what you pay for. I would stay again. Almost no social atmosphere which was odd as it is advertised as the “party” hostel but I did not mind this.

- No AC, no wifi I wanted a calm hostel after being on kho rong island, I wanted to relax, there was loud music late at night, they did warned me in the welcome message after I booked my stay but it’s not refundable so it doesn’t change anything
Lovely beachside hostel, a little removed from the main strip in M’Pai bay which feels a bit more private. Super easy to get to the plankton beach too (tiny little village anyway but convenient). Staff were super helpful with any questions and local recommendations. Music is played relatively loud until a bit late but it’s not much of an issue. Nicely social as well.

Pros: Staff are so amazing and kind. The bar area is great. KRS is a quiet island, but this hostel provides the most social environment you could hope for. Cons: No AC in dorms, stuffy and smelly. Dorm room floors are dirty and seldom cleaned, I don't think the floor gets mopped either. My feet were always so dirty after a few steps. The shower/toilet are in the same room and the floor isn't sloped, so guests have to squeegee and you NEED shower shoes. No mirrors. Cleanliness needs improvemen...

- Had a private room but could hear everything in the other rooms as its very thin walls and everytime someone went to the bathroom your room Lit up with the lights from outside and their was noise from the banging doors

+ A group of young people are doing their best to run this hostel. They are friendly and helpful.
- There is no hot water, and the bathrooms and toilets are not clean. There are only two bathrooms. There is no hot water and Wi-Fi and Mirrors :( You can stay here, but in my opinion, it’s not worth the high price.
+ Hans and Lauren are there to help out with whatever you need and it’s clear they want everyone to have a great stay here. They had a team of volunteers always around and good music on at night. Great place to stay if you want to socialise.
Good social hostel in a perfect location by the beach. Easy to meet people. There could do with being more bathrooms and they weren’t very clean. Be aware there is no wifi but that was fine. I would stay again.
Location really nice, really friendly vibe, the toilets were dirty but I really liked the fact that they had protection web from mosquitoes on every bed. Also special thank you to the English volunteer (I don’t remember his name) but he speaks some Greek. I had an eye infection before I arrive to hostel and he helped me so much. Thanks for that mate 🫶
Booked a private room and was super happy with what I got for the price I paid.
