Magra The Chill Spot

The owner and his families live there so are the long term workers and short term visitors. Maybe because they are young and irresponsible, thats why the kitchen is filthy and the fridge is full of rotten food. The worst is no one sleeps as it seems. At 2 or 3 in the morning people are laughing loudly or playing disco music as if its a dance party. Despite my inquiry about quiet hours, then request, then protest ... nothing worked. I ended up sleeping on the couch in the balcony. Never agai...

It was my first try to a hostel, the owner(Magra) was helpful and nice. Pros: Balcony view is amazing overlooking Dubai skyline/There's a Playstation which helps creating a friendly gathering. CONS: Place needs some organization/ one bathroom services 3 rooms.

Betten ganz oben haben kein keinen Vorhang/ Steckdosen. Ablagefläche kaum vorhanden. Es gibt leider keine Möglichkeit Wertsachen einzuschließen. really nice place to stay the host is fantastic and easy going

This is Not a traditional hostel, it is an apartment converted into an hostel with 3 later bunk bed. So you cannot really sit or chill in the room. The living room is quite often full and sometimes people smoke inside. Good if you like shisha (they have on their balcony), gym (from the building) and swimming pool. The building is modern and with a great view. Tv with Netflix, but if you need at times your space to chill it is a bit hard to find it in the common areas. For the rest is fine!

During my stay, cash disappeared under circumstances that remain unclear. Although the hostel states that it accepts no liability for lost valuables, such disclaimers do not apply to cases of intentional theft. Unfortunately, the hostel has remained silent about the incident, and I have not received any response to my calls and emails to date. The owner and his wife where so kind to everyone! I only stayed there for 1 days, and the already made me feel at home. The immediately felt like friends, because we laughed and chilled together. I already missed them the moment i left.

Wonderful hospitality and a very friendly host. The bed was neat and clean, and the hostel was well maintained overall. All facilities for cooking were available, which made the stay very comfortable. The best part was the amazing view from the big balcony. ACHTUNG Mir wurde aus dem Zimmer eine Menge Bargeld gestohlen. Der Fall wurde vom Besitzer abgestritten, zudem wurde wohl in den Kamaraufnahmen nachgesehen ob etwas vorgefallen ist, daraufhin bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob auch Kameras im Dorm platziert sind, was ein großer Verstoß gegen die Privatsphäre wäre! Besitzer und ihre Freunde schlafen ebenfalls in den Dorms, was einem ebenfalls ein ungutes Gefühl gibt. Nicht zu empfehlen!!

Overpriced, unprofessional, and unclean. This feels like an unofficial apartment hustle rather than a real hostel. I arrived after a long overnight flight to find someone else in my assigned bed and dirty sheets that hadn't been changed. The experience was so bad it ruined my entire week in Dubai. Avoid this place.

This hostel somehow felt like home. The manager was super nice and friendly, and the owner was just as kind. The location is really convenient, close to the airport and not too far from downtown. It is right in the middle, with Dubai Mall only about 10 minutes away by car and the airport around 20 minutes away. The view was amazing.
