Fhange the rude people who work in that hostel and maybe, maybe. It will get better reviews.

I checked-in in aprivate room at 8pm and when I got in the room, I found out that I was not cleaned ! The bed was dirty, the toilet too. I had to wait 30min for the staff to clean it, and I got offered a single soft drink for this inconvenience. All of this to get to the room “cleaned” to find out that my bad bad no bed sheets. So I had to get down again and ask for some, and do the bed my self… The staff in reception were kind but the service was very bad.

Not as on the pictures described. The mentioned cinema is just accessible against a fee of 30€/hr. No atmosphere, too far out of the city, no rooftop and the pictures are partly from the other Hawks on town. I do not recommend for backpackers / traveler’s.

Stayed in a mixed dorm, i was the only female and there were no locks on the shared bathroom + shower door. Hostel was big, multiple levels of 6 dorms each, a small claustrophobic kitchen on each level with no windows. Didn’t give off any social vibes and not personal/cozy at all. Location very far from centre. Gym was the only good part.

This hotel isn’t finished, it has nothing available that it has advertised; no kitchen, no bar, no nothing. It’s a construction site with wires and the like sticking out everywhere. Straight up lies

BEWARE room 207! The design of the hostel makes room 207 (and I assume 107 very noisy.) Yes this is a hostel with a bar and happy people, but the noise bounces up the bare stairwell. The staff were friendly and did their best, but they can't stop people talking in the foyer (two floors away) at all moments of the night. Perfect for those who are out late or looking to party, but for anyone else this is not a room to sleep in until after 3am.

Honestly this place is nice aesthetically (clean, nice gym, cinema room, nice rooftop), but the atmosphere really sucked. It feels more like a hotel than a hostel. Also the staff are SUPER rude, they make you feel like an idiot for asking them a simple question. Also the location is pretty far from the centre. Definitely would NOT recommend this place to a solo traveller that wants to meet new ppl. I regret staying here

it was the worst experience of my life in a hostel. the staff totally rude. it doesn't feel like staying in a hostel, hostile environment. i don't recommend it if you are looking for the essence of a hostel..it seems like a hotel for people on a business trip i repeat the staff that works there is totally disinterested and rude they don't know how to deal with customers the worst i have seen in years.avoid it

Great place, super cheap and very close to the metro station! Would recommend if you’re staying in Athens and don’t mind sleeping and meeting with lots of new people :)

I absolutely loved my stay at Athens Hawks. The location is amazing and makes it super easy to get around Athens. Everything in the hostel was extremely clean and well maintained, honestly even better than I expected. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything. I had a very good experience staying here. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, always making the place feel welcoming. Everything was kept clean and well looked after, which made my stay really comfortable. What stood out the most for me was the bar and the food — the bar had a great atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or meeting people, and the food was surprisingly good, with tasty options at reasonable prices. Overall, it’s a place I’d happily recommend.

Mon seul point vraiment positif concernera la salle de sport et de yoga qui m'a vraiment permis de rester actif durant mon séjour. Malheureusement, la chambre pour 6 était vraiment très petite et la salle de bain se transformait en baignoire dès lors qu'une personne l'utilisait. Les lits sont corrects, un peu durs pour moi et je n'ai pas vraiment senti une ambiance favorable aux rencontres. Ah oui et la fille qui sert le petit déjeuner n'a pas l'air d'aimer son travail, elle ne sourit jama...

Lovely hostel, close to metro direct to the city centre! Fantastic facilities and super helpful and friendly staff.

en terme de pratiques beaucoup de chose ne vont pas : Les salles de bains dans les chambres étaient tout sauf pratique (chaque utilisation ça transformait la sdb en piscine), pas assez de matériels dans chaque cuisines d'étages (obligé de "voler" dans les autres à chaque utilisation) et les rangements pour nos effets personnels ne sont pas placés non plus de façon pratique. Mais l'endroit est pratique si vous voulez une auberge calme sans avoir la cohue du centre ville.

Chambre triple très agréable, vaste salle de bains, lits très confortables.

Best hostel I've stayed, and the free gym is a good plus. If you don't like the fact that it's not located in the city center, they have another hostel there.

Nighttime check in staff were lovely, very helpful and even received a free welcome shot at their indoor bar (as the rooftop bar was closed due to the weather). Very modern and clean rooms; ladder to the top bunk was a bit precarious but otherwise very comfy bed. Extremely convenient location for a cherry on top. Morning staff were kinda brusk and dismissive but not that big of a worry.

Very clean and modern hostel, I enjoyed the gym, yoga, room, and cinema as well as the bar. The location is very close to the metro which makes it easy to get around and to the center in a few minutes. Would recommend 👍🏼

Overall I enjoyed my stay. Had a small annoyance with the staff but other than that it was great.

Overall this hostel was great! Price is unbeatable, location is quiet and close to the metro, restaurant is delicious, and facilities were nice and clean. There were a couple drawbacks, like the rooftop being closed and the pub closed on weekends, but the price made up for it 👍🏼
