When in Athens Hostel

La atmosfera es fria. todos callados. te sientes observado, y el personal muy distante y frio. No explican donde se encuentra el hostel, y los balores y luchas del propio barrio. Las puertas van extremadamente fuertes. Se cierran con mucho ruido. no puedes casi ni abrir la puerta de afuera. es como una càrcel. bonita.

I only stayed a night, but tbh I was disappointed with the vibe and one of the male staff was rude. I say in a lot of hostels, and while it was spotless and in good condition - it felt more like a cheap hotel than a welcoming hostel. The common rooms and kitchen in the basement meant they are rarely used and guests didn't mingle. Towels and shower gel cost extra, and at this price point a towel should be included. I expect soap at least to be provided for free to encourage good guest hy...

Good if you need a quick stay in aspen, it’s quite far from the main area, but it’s close to some really cool bars and nightlife.

This hostel takes great pride in its safety and cleanliness. With 24-hour staff who were friendly and accommodating, and secure access codes for each room, I felt well taken care of. The rooms were among the nicest I've seen in a hostel—spotlessly clean, as were the bathrooms. They even steamed your bag upon arrival, which was a nice touch. However, as a solo traveler, I found it difficult to meet people since the atmosphere wasn’t very social. I ended up making friends through other hostel...

Very very safe and clean with amazing facilities although I’ve never seen such a quiet and unsocial hostel

Hotel vibes - excellent facilities and security (codes and locks for rooms and kitchen is great) and staff are friendly but not super social and no volunteers. Location is a bit out of the way from touristy things but the area is super lovely with bookshops, cafes and bars around.

The hostel is modern and clean. The beds were super comfy. It’s well located and walkable to attractions. The staff was great! The major downside is the noise - from the street and other guests in court yard. The windows did nothing to block it out. Unfortunately because of this I wouldn’t book here again. Everything else was great just wish the windows did more to block the noise or free earbuds were provided.

It was a really nice place to stay, when you like a clean and modern interior, but it wasn't social at all. It felt more like a Hotel with shared rooms. The area the hostel is located was nice with a lot of bars and restaurants but its an 20 minute walk to most of the sights. All in all a very nice place butnot the best option when you try to make new contacts. If you stay there definitely go to Lycabettus Hill for sunset

Nice hostel, good host, friendly and helpful staff and decent location in down-town Athens. Unfortunately the AC did not work in our room, so we were boiling for a good night's sleep. I did however get the feeling that it was not the case in the other rooms.

Property was very clean and well-maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and my room was set up well to maintain privacy even without curtains. Location a bit far from city centre but metro/busses are easy to figure out and was even a simple walk. Atmosphere was a bit quiet but I was there early season so kind of expected, nice bars close by.

Auberge très sympa bien située. J'aurais bien aimé que les douches puissent être fermées à clé et avoir un peu plus de rangement pour ses affaires dans la chambre. Sinon tout était nickel !!

FANTASTIC staff. I had a few issues with my travel and had to adjust my booking and the staff were responsive and helpful. So accommodating and helpful.

Overall I had a great stay at this hostel! Definitely one of the cleanest ones I’ve been to. The beds were big and relatively comfy The only reason I took away one star is because you did have to walk or transit a bit to the city center where the monuments were. There was also a gentleman who frequently smoked on the property (not during quiet hours) which was a bit of a downside as I’m sensitive to scents. And finally the lockers were quite small (no space for luggage just valuables).

I was really surprised how high the ratings are, it's lovely but several things impacted the overall score for me. There were no luggage lockers within the room, no locks on shower doors. Very bright and loud from hallways and windows and very hot. The building felt secure but area didn't as a solo female after dark. It's also quite far from anything touristy or shops so if you're there for a week or less, it's just far enough to be an inconvenience. Very clean but would look elsewhere next time

L'auberge est super belle et très propre, ça fait plaisir! Merci au personnel qui tient le lieu en état, on s'y sent bien! L'auberge n'est pas en plein centre il faut marcher un peu mais cela reste correct. L'hostel n'est pas très social mais peut-être du au fait d'être hors saison. Je recommande

El sitio es bonito, ordenado, calmado, la cocina impecable y los baños también. El personal de recepción es super amigable y te ayudan en lo que necesites. A mejorar, la ventilación de las habitaciones, no es muy buena y las ventanas permanecen cerradas, entiendo las puertas cerradas por seguridad, pero la falta de ventilación hace que cuando algo huele fuerte el olor permanezca por mucho tiempo y llega a ser molesto. Las camas no cuentan con persianas, es incómodo porque 0 privacidad.

tout est nickel, l'emplacement dans un quartier très pittoresque, les lits sont confortables, le personnel à notre disposition, c'est propre 👍

Just stayed for one night but was everything you would want for a layover.

It’s quite a modern hostel with decent facilities. Still, it has some problems. I get the impression that the age limit here is fairly flexible as both my roommates were clearly over 40 years of age. I found the four person room was quite stuffy and I was absolutely murdered by mosquitos all three nights of my stay. And this was during winter, can’t imagine what it’s like in summer. Neighbourhoods is pretty dodgy. Late at night it’s full of junkies.

there during off season so super chill, however meet some dope people there, fun times, clean, social, kitchen is off the chains new new ha. great location: in a dope neighborhood with plenty of character, flare, personality, on fire yet chill.

This really is the best hostel in Athens! Super clean, really comfortable beds and the staff are very lovely. The neighbourhood is also really nice. Special shout out to Anastasis! Missing Athens already. Thanks guys :-)
