Bed in Valletta

Wysyłają email że ktoś przyjedzie odebrać z lotniska w cenie rezerwacji ale nikt się nie pojawia. Do budynku jest jeden klucz zostawiamy w pudełku przed wejściem o 1 w nocy obsługa dzwoni i budzi żeby śpiący goście otworzyli innym gościom drzwi. Nie ma łazienek w pokoju -jest wc z nieszczelnymi drzwiami i zapach idzie na cały pokój. Płatność gotówką właściciel miał wydać reszte- spłacić z ceny ze względu na niezgodności, ale się nie pojawił.

I just don’t give a zero grade, because the service of the owners of this hostel was very nice, attentive all the time, but unfortunately the place was very bad! The Location was great but the ave was really strange. No check in and a camera facing the bedroom. The bed was unclean, the toilet was in the corner of the room and the shower was in the basement.

Terrible stay – avoid this place. Dirty, overheated rooms with no airflow. Basement shower offers zero privacy. Stained towel, itchy bed, and a barely working fan. Toilet noise and smell carry into the room. A bright light reflects through a mirror at night, waking everyone. No room locks, no staff, and the entry code never changes. Linen were smelly,Mosquitoes in the room, all three persons sleeping in the room confirmed they got bites. Poor hygiene extremely low quality accommodation.

Small and dirty rooms. The toilet in he basement was dirty. Would not stay here again.

Awful, such a strange set up, poky room with 3 beds, 1 wardrobe for 3, no security for valuables. Toilet behind screen next to 3rd bed (weird). Have serious plumbing and lighting issues. Another guest and I could not use the bathroom in the basement, lights not working, we flicked every switch. Slatted beds with stained unmatched bed linen. Spy camera focussed on bedroom. Easy to rectify. Owner (man) verbally abusive on highlighting issues. Ok for 3 desperate friends, hostels best. Refunded!

This place is disgusting. There were bed bugs. Myself and my roommates all received bed bug bites that were very different from mosquito bites. The owner does not live here and probably has never visited physically in person. They hire “cleaners” who just replace the bed linen and pillowcases but never actually clean the bathroom, shower, kitchen, sinks, trashcans, floors. It’s so dirty there are dead/alive cockroaches everywhere. There is dust, spider webs, food crumbs, poop stains, every...

The Neighbour can (and did) look in through the upstairs window. Lots of continued staring was very discomforting. Was far too hot - wouldn't stay in summer months. Staff gave lots of nice recommendations.

Excellent value for money and great location. Staff provide general via WhatsApp without you even asking.

Location is amazing and the bed was comfortable. However, security is very much lacking - the key safe is attached to the next door property so you have to leave the door open in order to return the (communal) key. There's also barely space to put bags/ suitcases in the dorm room and zero privacy between beds. Kitchen and bathroom smelt quite mouldy and the kitchen barely had any equipment (cutlery etc). Overall, fine if you're only planning to be there to sleep.

The location is great, really close to all the things you want, and also to the ferries to the three cities. It’s a down to earth hostel, you have what you need, it’s not luxury in any way but was good value for money with the provided bed, location, small kitchen, shared bathroom and downstairs shower. Ideal for a trip to Valletta/ Malta if you want a decent, but budget friendly option

I liked the serviceses , but the water when I showered was super brown! Ew!! Please manage the cleanness of the shower por favor. I understand they were working at the sewage.

Staff was friendly and location was really good.

First off, the price is really cheap compared to most of the accommodation considering its near to main bus stop in Valletta. And it ends there. It is very inconvenient having to punch in code and take main door keys and put it back every time you enter. The rooms felt so suffocated and moldy. Felt no ventilation in the room even with the small window. All bedsheets and spreads were grey. No closet to even hang something small, no hangers. Place was in a good location. The property is a little tired. Kitchen not well stocked (could use an electric kettle, more mugs, better silverware assortment). The street is quite loud with a dog and delivery trucks early in the morning. It was cold at night and the blankets weren’t sufficiently warm.

It’s a small house in the heart of Valetta. It’s clean and the instructions to arrive are well explained and detailed. I happened to bump into a very rude and problematic couple while staying there but the staff was polite and handled the situation in a respectful way.

You get what you pay for which isn’t much but okay for a night or two. No internet connection in rooms, lumpy pillows and makeshift shower curtain that floods the bathroom. The location was nice and central though and shared kitchen a good addition
