Nice hostel but the toilets and showers weren’t great, staff were absolutely lovely though, not much of a atmosphere or social aspect

Plutôt comme un hôtel, il y avait beaucoup de locaux quand nous y étions, petit déjeuner était vide, un peu loin de la ville (15min à pied dans la montagne), mais les dorms sont super car ils sont divisés donc chacun à son intimité.

This isn’t a backpacker vibe. Up a super steep hill following 10-15 minutes walk out of town, you’ll find this strange building. It has an incredible view from the top floor, accessible only by staircase. I stayed in the biggest dorm and was by myself the whole time; it felt like a hospital ward. It was quiet but not comfortable and I itched every night for the first time of the trip. The staff were very friendly and keen to arrange travel but location, showers and bed were big negatives.

Not sure why this is so highly rated, apart of a hotel so not social at all and not as close to the hike as you’d think. Bathrooms weren’t clean, rooms didn’t feel very clean. Staff were very nice though and the breakfast (paid) was decent. Rooms were never locked either and up a massive hill- strange vibes.

Would recommend. Lovely staff and nice very spacious dorm rooms.

Great hostel with balcony! Close to trail 10 but a little far from the Center and dorm could have been cleaner (found old sock in my bed)

Parte positiva: las personas de recepcion eran muy agradables y predispuestas a ayudar en todo. El desayuno buffet por 15MYR está genial, es desayuno occidental. Parte negativa: no cambiaron las sábanas. Tenía mis dudas cuando llegue, pero al día siguiente, vi a dos hombres de la limpieza simplemente sacudiendo las sábanas de las camas que habían sido usadas. Cuando les pregunté, me decían que si, que otro día. Las toallas creo que iban por el mismo camino, estaban negras.

Staff were lovely and they ran a free shuttle into and out of town. Bed were comfy but the dividers between beds were very thin and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Overall a good stay. Trips available from hostel and food looked good.

Man hat genügend Platz und ein grosses gemütliches Bett. Die Lage fand ich auch gut. Man ist am Start des Trail 10 und zu Fuss auch in 10-12min im Zentrum.

Alles in allem ganz coole Unterkunft. Der Dorm fühlt sich fast wie ein Privat-Zimmer an. Frühstück gibt’s für 15 Ringit. Es gibt einen Shuttle vom Hostel zum Stadtzentrum. Badezimmer könnten sauberer sein.

Gute Dorms mit viel Privatsphäre. Die Steuern sind unerwartet hoch.

Really nice hostel - beds are big, comfy, and you have your personal private space. The free shuttle service is a really nice thing. Personnel is nice and welcoming.

Incredible value hostel with private compartment beds which (although it felt like a hospital) were fantastic and much better than bunks. The staff were very helpful with hiking info and sorting out free transfers, which were a fantastic inclusion, on top of free water and breakfast. Whilst it wasn't a social place, for the price the services were incredible!

Nice hostel to stay at for a couple of nights in the highlands. The lady at reception was so lovely. Hostel & breakfast really good value, beds comfy. However, cleanliness was lacking a bit I.e. wrappers left in bedside drawers, showers, although good, sometimes didn’t turn on and not so clean at times. Overall though we liked our stay!

I stayed at Tekoma Resort Cameron Highlands, and the staff really made the experience special. Sofia and Farah were incredibly nice and helpful throughout my stay. Before I came, I what apps Sofia and Farah a lot of question 😆they were helpful and make good recommendation for me. driver uncle was also very kind – he picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station (drive around 3 mins) without any hassle. I joined the hostel’s half-day tour, which was fantastic.

Perfect. Grote bedden soort mini kamer in een dorm. Goeie service met de shuttle. Super lief personeel en een kat :)

Best hostel in Cameron Highlands for sure. Extremely nice staff, beautiful views from the balcony, location is not a problem because u just ask for their shuttle to drop u off in the town (or u walk 15 mins). Very recommendable!!

Backpacker dorm is spacious with your own curtained area but bathroom the hall. Towel included but lacks locker for valuables. Dorm on 4th floor accessed only by stairs. Walk 15 minutes or call to arrange free shuttle from town. 15rm breakfast option. Filtered water. Nice view of surroundings from upstairs plus lounge area. A cat and fish pets. Would stay again.

This was a great hostel! The staff is extremely accommodating and it is well worth it for the money. While the listing does state there is laundry facilities, you will need to use a service that the hostel provides for you through a 3rd party. This is typically no big deal and it would be returned in 24 hours, Unfortunately my partner and I needed our clothes washed and dried same-day, so we had to run into town to complete this. Otherwise, great stay!

Really enjoyed my stay here in the Cameron Highlands! The space you get in the dorm room is very spacious and comfortable with a nice curtain. The free transport to and from the centre was very much appreciated too whilst the staff were always very welcoming and helpful. Only thing I’d say is the bathrooms weren’t cleaned during the time I was there I felt. However I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Highlands!
