Len Kyoto

Not worth it – dirty and rude service Stayed 3 nights at Len Kyoto Kawaramachi. The room was dirty, and the bedsheets looked unwashed. Definitely not what you’d expect from a decent hotel. Staff were rude during checkout. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great atmosphere in the lobby and good food in the bar! I was quite disappointed when I got to the room.. it smelled wierd, and the walls and roof had some black spots, i don’t know, but it looked like mold. The bed did not smell good and i almost decided to find another place to sleep. So with that said, it was way too expensive.

The lounge bar on the first floor is nice. But the hostel itself needs some renovation.

Good location within walking distance of Nikishi Market/Pontocho Street, significantly overpriced for what you get. I’d recommend just finding an ABNB in the area, you’ll pay half as much and have better accommodations. For a hostel, they’re definitely catering to people who just want to spend money.

One of the more expensive hostels in kyoto and I’m not sure why. Nothing was bad just a cheaper one would’ve done the same. Staff were very strict with check out and extending.

Staff were great, cafe is great, common room is great. However, the room was tiny and there was dried snot on the walls. Also the bathroom is one room so one person at a time. Need to to do much better here.

Ceck-in is at 16:00 pm This is a very late time of the day. Also, I believe this hostel is quite expensive.

The environment of the hostel is cold, all the building seems like a factory/hospital. The bathrooms, the rooms, the common area are ugly and uncomfortable. It’s really difficult to meet people. I’ve been traveling around Japan for three weeks and it’s the worst hostel I’ve stayed.

Good hostel to chill and enjoy kyoto

One of the best location possible in Kyoto, close from everything, the atmosphere, cleanliness and the security is impeccable. I would recommend this hostel for anybody !

Great hostel. The bar/cafe is a great spot. Common room is decent sized and has goodgood facilities for preparing food. Only 1 washing machine is a bit tough, but the drier works great. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Very clean hostel in a great location! Both chill and social travelers would enjoy this place. Restaurant downstairs has an amazing atmosphere and good food!

Very nice and clean hostel good rooms and bathrooms. Location is walking distance from a lot and near a subway station. The bar is very nice but more of a chill drinks kinda place

We liked this hostel a lot but the pillows were awful, despite them having multiple to choose from so appreciate that might be on us a bit but we both didn’t sleep well for 4 nights as a result. The location was great, staff were friendly and the cafe/bar at the bottom was really nice.

Staff were nice at check in. Bathroom facilities were clean and tidy. Room gave adequate privacy with curtains. However the lockers didn’t have storage which locked securely, you could have anyone go in there whilst you slept. Also there should be quiet hours in the hostel, because somebody came in at 1am and switched on their light and didn’t return for almost an hour disturbing my sleep as light was on. Not very sociable, I said hi to some people who just stared blankly. Strange vibe.

Fantastic hostel, impeccably clean rooms and beautiful bar downstairs. Would absolutely stay again if in Kyoto!

This was a good place to stay, not as social as it could be and more of a digital nomad spot. Great bar to meet locals! I enjoyed the location and was easy to get places!
