Great Partners Hostel

Not sure how Great Partners has such a high rating on hostelworld…. Google reviews mentioned canceled bookings post-stay for bad experiences so that might be it…. I’ll give them this: The staff were super kind and doing their best to be helpful, but the place / its linens / facilities as a whole are so run down that the poor accommodations outweighed personal interactions to an extreme. Not to mention the musty smell / possible mold and certain semi-misleading online profile claims. ...

Don’t know how the ratings are so high here. We booked a private room it was very dirty had to ask for the sheets to be changed. The en-suite bathroom door didn’t close and the shower was covered in different mold

I chose the hostel because in the description it says "check out until midnight" but they kick me out at 33pm saying that check out is by 11am... i end in the hostel in thw worst moment: there was no water for a whole day, so no shower, and no flush in the toilet.......... just imagine the situation...... a lot of ants in the sinks and spiders in the room and in the shower. someone ate my food.......... despite everything the building is large and not so busy, so it is possible to have privacy.

Wir sind schon seit einigen Monaten am Reisen, aber sowas haben wir bisher noch nicht erlebt. Die Bettwäsche war definitiv nicht neu bezogen und das private Badezimmer war auch dreckig. Generell war der Raum sehr runtergekommen und selbst die Steckdosen funktionierten nur, wenn man etwas baut, um das Ladekabel zu fixieren. Leider sehr enttäuschend für den Preis. Personal hingegen war sehr freundlich und Frühstück war standard. Würden aufgrund der fehlenden Sauberkeit jedoch nicht wiederkom...

Erst einmal wurde meine Buchung storniert, damit ich keine Bewertung mehr schreiben kann. Da es Bettwanzen in unserem Zimmer gab . Das Mädchen über mir hatte Bettwanzen und deren Ratschlag war : Schüttel die Matratze , ich war mir nicht sicher ob in meinem Bett auch welche waren , habe mich dann Mega unwohl gefühlt . Zudem waren über all Ameisen auf dem Boden . Aber das schlechteste waren die Mitarbeiter . Die Mitarbeiter waren so unfreundlich!Vorallem nach dem auschecken haben wir uns unwo...

The location is far from all the restaurants and bars. The building is not well kept. The breakfast is not good. No double glazing and the street noice is overwhelming.

The hostel is well placed and the staff very nice, nothing to say about that. However I think the hostel is overrated bc the rooms are not what I was expecting at all. Our room was sort of a small apartment with 2 beds, the space was big but very old, we had little windows that made the place very dark and not welcoming. The bed was not comfy at all. It’s cheap but for 10 usd you can have a lot better.

good Hostel but front door was difficult to find..

We had a good stay in this location. The staff ware exceptional and it is in the prime location of Miraflores. The facility however is not maintained well and the hot water in the private room is unreliable, as we only had one hot shower for the 3 nights we stayed, the rest were cold showers. Maintenance kept coming back to fix it but with no good result. If location is your main priority and don't mind cold showers, then your stay won't be that bad.

Los chicos que trabajan muy amables, dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. Buena ubicación. Debo decir que me decepcionó bastante que mi habitación estuviera llena de arañas, producto de que no movían los muebles para hacer aseo. Todo estaba con polvo y telas de araña de semanas, el chico del turno de noche limpió lo que mas pudo. reservé habitación privada, de los 5 días que estuve nadie ingresó a retirar la basura ni a realizar aseo del baño. No volvería a este lugar

Greta hostel in Mira Flores. All of the staff was super kind and the free breakfast was the biggest portion I’ve had in 3 months of travelling. We got a free upgrade to an apartment room and it was amazing. Definitely recommend

The staff is amazing. Very kind and open hearted and always happy to give advice and recommendations. Do note that this place is not a party hostel, it is for families and quite couples or solo travelers looking for a cheaper place to stay without the noice of partys. It's close to a beautiful park overviewing the ocean and in a secure spot close to Restaurants and a night life if you're looking for some. Beautiful, beautiful hostel with amazing staff❤️

Bon hostel, personnel super sympa, peu d'ambiance tho

I spent the holidays at the hostel and I truly felt at home. It was very comfortable, and there was a real family atmosphere thanks to the staff and other guests—everyone was so friendly. The spaces were all great: a cool patio with a nice view, and a spacious and relaxing lounge perfect for watching a movie. Everything was very reasonably priced and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely return.

It was a fab place to stay, the staff were so friendly especially on christmas, we had a special breakfast and lots of extra food from them. It was a brilliant place to stay. Only a 5 minute walk from the top of the cliff overlooking the sea. It was spectacular. It was very quiet when we were there as it was Christmas, but such a nice location. Our room was a little smelly but staff did everything they could eliminate it, not the fault of the hostel at all.

Great Partners has been 'our home away from home' when travelling in and out of Lima during our time in Peru/South America. The staff are incredibly welcoming friendly and helpful. The location in Miraflores is amzing just minutes from coastal walk and Airport Express bus at Hotel Boulevard. The hostel itself is full of chactaracter and we particularly loved the courtyard and rooftop and upstairs balcony. Great mix of interesting fellow travellers/guests. Thank you!!

Hola mi nombre es Rosita, hablar de GREAT PARTNERS es hablar de FAMILIA. Uno desde que llega a su estancia se siente como en casa. Todo son muy amables y coordiales. Pedro, Esther, Su, Jesús, Jorge, Manuel. Sin duda volvería nuevamente. Si tenemos que calificar el hostel no sería 10/10 sino 10000000000/10. Súper recomendado

Super bien atendidos y el hostel se encuentra en una zona muy tranquila y segura. Al lado hay el malecon que es muy bonito de ver y otros parques ideales para pasear. Nos dejaron guardar las mochilas y cocinar el almuerzo el dia que dejamos la habitacion por la mañana y eso se agradece un monton.

Nos alojamos en great partners, habitación privada y estuvimos como en casa. El desayuno es rico y contundente, los baños son espaciosos y el agua caliente funciona perfectamente. Las camas son cómodas y las habitaciones luminosas. La recepción y atención del equipo de Susana y demás es genial y 24h, por lo que se puede ir con calma respecto a la hora de llegada. La zona es calmada y residencial pero tiene bares y restaurantes de todos los tipos y precios a unos pocos minutos. Recomendado!

I had a wonderful stay at The Great Partners hostel. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. One host named Su was especially patient with me when I tried to speak Spanish. She spent a lot of time and patience with trying to improve my Spanish, and I actually improved my ability to speak Spanish thanks to Su. The restrooms at this hostel were always clean and never fully occupied. There are five restrooms, providing enough space for the guest to use without having to wait.

Me gustó mucho el hostel buena ubicación y el lugar muy seguro..El personal muy amable ,simpáticos y disponible para lo que uno quisiera!!! El desayuno muy rico !!! Volveré de nuevo ya que me sentí super cómoda!!!!excelente servicio

Good location, amenities not great & the place could do with a deep clean & a lick of paint. A couple of days, intermittently, there wasn’t any water (toilet/handwashing/shower). I stayed for 8 nights in a dorm & unfortunately as dorm life stood I felt very uncomfortable with, what seemed, long term residents (x3) who live a very different way of life to a backpacker & total disregard to ‘normal’ sleeping hours even phone calls/non-silenced phones. I do not rec to ‘normal travellers’

Good location and in an amazing building. 24/reception. Special shout out to Pedro who gave some great suggestions, including InDrive for taxi. Yummy breakfast. Not super social while my partner and I were there, although we didn't stay in a dorm. Nice to have outdoor areas.

Super hostel calme et confortable pour se reposer après un long voyage. Personnel très sympathique notamment Manuel et Jorge qui ont été de très bon conseils et vraiment bienveillants. Peut être pas le meilleur endroit pour faire des rencontres mais très bien pour se reposer.

Endroit confortable et agréable pour passer une nuit. Les gérants nous ont gardé nos affaires pour 4 jours pour un petit supplément afin de ne pas les emporter avec nous lors de notre prochaine destination. De plus, ils ont été très arrangeants pour échanger de l’argent parce qu’on n’avait plus assez de liquide pour le taxi. Très conciliants et souriants, bonne adresse !!!

Super hostel, on s’y sent comme à la maison ! Je recommande à 100%
