Andrea est une hôte merveilleuse, elle prend soin de vous comme une maman. J'étais malade pendant mon séjour et elle a tout fait pour m'aider. Elle fait également le lien pour vous aider avec les transports et les tours dans le désert.

Très bonne guesthouse, on se sent comme à la maison, cuisine bien équipé, pas loin du centre, je recommande.

small and basic hostel, friendly staff and super helpful owner! nice to stay for few days to go into the desert. theres free coffee all day and you can use their kitchen. A/C needs to be payed extra which could just be added to the room price imo.

Staff and value are great, kitchen is well equipped. A towel and bar of soap was a nice bonus! There was a birthday party going on while we were there and they took us in, giving us cake and drinks, showing us their amazing Colombian culture! Only negatives is that the room is insanely hot. The roof is metal, which made our room feel like an oven, we had two fans and they didn’t help much. Also the bathrooms don’t have locks on them.

Spend two nights here. The hostel is named after their dog, which is the cutest dog ever. Beds were comfy, just ventilators, no AC. Would definitely stay here again.

Andrea is a super host, she helped us book a great tour, the transportation to the bus station and answered all our questions. Her home is very sweet and I had a great stay.

The hosts are very nice and kind, and can help you for all sorts of things like how to go back to Neiva, or even doing a Tour in the Desert! There’s not a lot backpackers so there’s not a lot of noise, the showers and the toilets are outside but very great, I would recommend, if you need help to plan your way into the desert!

Great hostel!! Very quiet when we were there but really nice place. Homemade breakfast, good facilities (kitchen, nice showers, spacious rooms). Very hot because it’s in the desert but there are fans. Highly recommend going on the tours organised by the lady who owns the hostel, great experience!

Really nice hostel with great breakfast (fresh juice every day) and lovely staff that help you with tours or booking tuktuk. Well equipped kitchen and super cute dog!

Get what you pay for but staff are very nice. Breakfast is worth it and they will make it fresh at a time that works for you (between 7-10am I think) Do the 90k desert tour (without lunch included) its the cheapest and still includes all the sights! Room is hot if you dont pay extra for Air Con

This hostel is a great place if you are in Villavieja. Andrea and her staff are super welcoming and make you feel like you are at home immediately. The breakfast is simple but really good and the fresh juice is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and with fans. Everything is super clean as well. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in Villavieja again!

I absolutely loved everything about my experience and the host. She helped us with everything we needed from organizing tours for us and getting a bus for all groups in the hostel that were leaving at the same time. She accommodated us for needing extra towels and overall was a lovely person to talk to and to be around. Thank you so much!

Run by the sweetest couple who make you feel right at home. They know what’s best, take the tour of Tatacoa with them!

One of the best run hostels in Colombia. Andrea is a caring and attentive host and went above and beyond during my stay, offering filtered water, breakfast and arranging tours to the desert and transportation to Neiva. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hostel is conveniently located. Hostel also comes with a cute dog and cat for those that love pets. There are two buildings so check with Andrea which building you are staying. Would highly recommend this hostel.
