QBEDS Hostel

Absolutely do not book for a group here, they do not keep their word on group bookings. 15+ people in our group did not have a place to stay for the weekend because of them.

Camas extremamente barulhentas. Tiveram a ideia de colocar cortinas com argolas de metal que deslizam também por uma barra de metal. Toda vez que alguém abria ou fechava as cortinas no quarto, fazia um barulho tão alto que as pessoas acordavam. Cama muito baixa, bati a cabeça uma centena de vezes. Não pude usar meu armário, pois a cama estava posicionada logo em frente à calefação, de modo que era impossível puxar o armário debaixo da cama para fora. Tive que dormir com minha mochil...

while the location is good, the experience was not. I am currently at the front checkout as a man in the room I was staying in peed on the ground, and on several travellers personal items, during the night… the staff are not saying they can reimburse us for our stay, and they have yet to remove the man who peed from the hostel. Spend the extra few dollars and stay at a hotel.

Bonjour, J’ai mis cette note compte tenu du tarif que j’ai trouvé élevé + vs des équipements annoncés et non présents : salle de jeu fléchettes et baby-foot, salle cinéma. De plus, l’hygiène n’était pas au top heureusement pas dans les parties sanitaires ! Mais la salle de repos/bibliothèque était vraiment sale ! Verre de cocktail renversé sol ! La jeune fille à l’accueil était sympa et le bâtiment a un certain charme, l’emplacement idéal, la literie confortabl...

El ambiente está bueno, pero el baño está muy muy sucio y el servicio está mal. Tiene que hacer la cama tu mismo y ni te dan la manta.

This hostel is well located and bed are confortable but it won’t be a place where you’ll connect much with people… Talking about facilities, on the 3rd floor you only have 4 toilets for everyone and 3 showers for women… the price per night was a bit pricey in my opinion.

Nous n'avons pas payé le prix affiché sur le site hostelworld. Nous avons payé plus. Le montant de la pré réservation n'a pas été pris en compte nous avons dû repayer la totalité du séjour une fois sur place. Conclusion : Hostelworld nous a fait payer 52 dollars en plus qui n'ont pas été déduit du prix total.

It was impossible to sleep because the bar had loud music/parties until late every night. The dorms were pretty dirty, there was garbage on the floor and my bed was filthy. No privacy in the showers so you have to change in front of people. The location was fantastic though. If you’re there just to party and don’t care about cleanliness it’s not bad, but if you want to get any rest I’d recommend booking elsewhere.

Dans l’ensemble nous avons apprécié notre séjour cependant nous avons trouves l’auberge pas suffisamment propre que ce soit les parties communes ou les chambres ainsi que les draps en très mauvaises états et de propreté assez douteuse. Dommage que les autres personnes ne respectent pas le silence le matin. Le personnel est très gentil

Well located but we had a problem with the heating in our room. The guy on reception came to see what was wrong, declared that the heating system was broken and said he couldn't do anything about it. It was freezing in the room, I was ill and had to suffer a freezing room until we left... unacceptable! Also, the kitchen was dirty, a few people cleared up after themselves but others didn't bother... perhaps a reflection of our society today!! Bedroom was really small, not big enough for four....

Très bonne auberge, propre, personnel convivial, mais l’espace dans les chambres est très limité et les bruit de la rue s’entend très fort malgré les boules quies

Il faisait trèschaud dans les dortoirs à 16 lits. Autrement, c'était wow!

Superbe auberge, plein de salles pour se détendre ( ciné. Fitness, bibli, salon...) ambiance chaleureuse et charme de la bâtisse ! Très bien située ! Il fait chaud par contre ! Le chauffage était intense. Petit déj gratuit proposé ! Une adresse à retenir !

Lots of communal spaces which was great and helpful staff. However very disappointing that it’s advertised as having a bar, only to find out once I got there that it’s closed for winter season. This needs to be made MUCH clearer on the booking site. Location was good for bars/restaraunts, although a bit further out from the old town than some other hostels/hotels. Still though only around 15/20 min walk, just wrap up warm if you go in winter! Was quite far from nearest grocery store.

The height of upper beds are too low, so that it’s very likely for people to bump their heads when not paying attention

Great place to stay!

L’auberge est bien située, il y a tout le nécessaire pour se faire à manger et de nombreux espaces communs. Les dortoirs sont confortables et il y a un rideau à chaque lit avec prise de courant et lampe. Il y a suffisamment de toilettes et de douches pour tout le monde. Très agréable séjour malgré un prix un peu élevé pour une auberge.

Ideal location and such a funky hostel set up! I loved all the different areas you could hang out in. The bed felt pretty private compared to other hostels I’ve stayed at. The room was pretty hot during my stay so I would’ve preferred it to be a bit cooler and a duvet provided than overheating in just a sheet. The shower situation had me a little uneasy, even though there are separate men and women’s there are no locks or adequate space to get changed so someone could easily come in at any...

GO TO HI-QUEBEC AUBERGE INTERNATIONALE!!! No idea how this place gets a 9.1 rating. With the exception of the lady working desk on the afternoon 18/10, staff are unhelpful and uninterested. Rooms are saunas with coffin style beds that you have to make yourself. No activities on offer for solo travellers to meet people. Breakfast is dealt out like you’re in prison, portions counted and options extremely limited. Common areas are dark and dingy with no music to liven it up. ZERO ATMOSPHERE

Staff weren’t very friendly, didn’t offer to show us around the hostel or explain anything so we weren’t sure how breakfast worked and were unclear on rules in the kitchen and shared spaces - this was unlike my other hostel experiences. The private room was small but nice and the bed was very comfy. The shared bathrooms got dirty quickly and the floors were always slippery. Location was good

Our group of four had never stayed at QBEDS and we were pleasantly surprised. I have never stayed in such a modern and well equipped hostel before.

Excellent établissement avec beaucoup mis à disposition des invités. Un reproche néanmoins : la chambre de six, sous toit, avec tuyau apparent, et une salle de jeu « particulière » pour les enfants. Autrement, parfait.

my only complaint is there was so much chatter in the TV room. I could not practice my French language comprehension over the chatter. the staff were very helpful.

It's a nice place, probably even better during the summer when the bar opens. Clean facilities, comfy enough beds, curtains. Regular and coed showers. Large kitchen with a few sinks, 2 stoves, decent amount of seating. Location is not the best though; no corner stores close or quick eats, groceries 15 mins walk. Overall, I would recommend and return in high season for the party experience. There's also gym, movie room, laundry, library and lazy room with hammocs. Enjoy

Had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect, close to main attractions, restaurants, and transit, making it super convenient for exploring. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, from the rooms to the common areas. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always ready with helpful tips and recommendations. Great atmosphere to meet fellow travelers yet still quiet enough to relax. Highly recommend and would stay again!
