Probably my worst hostel experience: - overcrowded dorms (6 people could just not fit in there, barely breath); - hot water was advertised but never existing (so be prepared); - the cleaning staff was doing their best but there were just too many people in the hostel for it's capacity; - the outside space is not enough for the amount of guests; - located in the centre which is very noisy (but this is up to the guests' preferences).We personally changed it as soon as I could.

When we booked through Hostelworld, we paid a small portion of the total amount (approximately €20). However, upon arrival at La Florida, the employee insisted that no payment had been made, despite us showing proof on our banking app. She stated that the full amount had to be paid in cash directly to her. Additionally, this same employee was extremely unfriendly, which was in stark contrast to her colleague, who was amazing and very helpful.

Cash only in the 2025, Mad! Dirty, and the infrastructure is Terrible. So expensive and poor breakfast.

The most disrespectful experience we ever had: We extended our stay by 2 nights in the morning and were told we can pay in the afternoon. When we returned after a trip, they told us that they canceled our reservation because others came and paid immediately-I WANT TO EMPHASIZE THAT THIS WAS NOT A MISUNDERSTANDING! My belongings were still on the bed, they gave it away and kicked us out without feeling guilty about it! *Gave 1 star in each category for the overall eventhough it's not correct*

Infelizmente, nos dias que estava hospedado, caiu uma chuva forte e o hostel não teve a melhor estrutura para evitar entrar água no quarto, inclusive molhando minhas coisas que estavam no chão.

Loud hostel. Rooms had nothing: no bin, no chair, just an uncomfortable bed. The window in the room shattered. Bathrooms not clean. Visitors are loud at night and hostel personnel doesn’t take action. In fact, they’re blaring their phones at 2:00am. As a cherry on top, when we needed to rush to the airport and our Uber didn’t show up, the receptionist called some friend when we asked her to call a taxi for us and made us pay a way too high price.

Viele Basics haben gefehlt, z.b. keine schließbare Zimmertür - keine Kleiderhaken - nur drei Steckdosen für 6 Betten - obere Betten sehr wackelig, man fühlte sich nicht sicher beim Schlafen. Uns würde ein Early Checkout Lunch Paket angeboten, dieses war nach 1h nicht bereit. Sehr schade. Die Küche lässt sich nur unter großen Gefahreneinsatz und hoher Gasflamme bedienen. Der Staff ist nett, aber das kann nicht alles ausgleichen. Von uns keine Empfehlung!

Location and common area are good but that’s about it. They’ve got 3 bunk beds (meant for children) jammed into a room meant for 2 bunk beds. No lockers, no curtains and no guard rails on the beds. Given the no locker situation and too many beds, everyone’s stuff is everywhere. Probably wouldn’t stay here again. Staff are friendly.

I wouldn’t go again and don’t recommend it. The dorms are very basic - the beds don’t even have ladders so have fun climbing up and down of the top bunk. No power outlets for top bunks, rails, light or even a small bedside table/shelf. There are no lockers within the dorms. A few lockers are available near reception. The bathrooms are also absolutely basic.

Dans l’ensemble c’est un super établissement, bon rapport qualité prix, il est bien placé (proche de la rue principale) et calme, je recommande

Hostel was fine for a night. Kitchen wasnt well stocked with cooking supplies. Doors in the womens bathroom were awful! you could barely get in and out of toilets let alone lock the doors

Nuestra estancia en este hostel ha sido fantástica. El lugar es muy acogedor y tiene un ambiente muy agradable. Queremos destacar a Thomas, el recepcionista, que fue encantador con nosotras: siempre dispuesto a ayudar y a recomendarnos sitios estupendos que hicieron nuestra visita aún mejor. Nos vamos con muy buenos recuerdos y con ganas de volver en otra ocasión.

One staff member in particular was very rude and unhelpful the whole time we were there. The hostel itself was nice and reasonably sociable however no locks on doors, and no big lockers available made it feel not very secure. Also when you leave bags for the day after checkout there just in the lounge rather than tucked away.

Estancia muy desagradable, recibida por un personal irrespetuoso que nos hablaba en francés (siendo franceses) y utilizaba un vocabulario inapropiado que hacía que el intercambio fuera inadecuado. Además, no quiso darnos la llave de nuestro dormitorio, lo que nos dio libre acceso a todas nuestras cosas... El lugar es ruidoso con el bar al lado... ¡No recomiendo que el precio sea correcto por la limpieza y el encanto del lugar!

Truly an amazing hostel! It has a super chill and social vibe, but nothing is forced. Host Adan is an amazing guy who cares for his guests. Would come back if I’m ever in San Pedro again.

Hostel is in a decent location. Near many decent restaurants and most of the tour agencies as well as the ATM.

Süßes Hostel mit Liebe zum Detail. Frühstück könnte etwas mehr sein, 6-er-Zimmer recht klein. Außenbereich und Sanitäranlagen aber sehr schön.

Paola was the best when checking us all! Always making sure the group was well taken care of & offered so many cool local tours.

The accommodation is very centrally located and still quiet. The beds are small, and there is very little privacy in the dorm. The people are very friendly, and there is a great outdoor area to relax. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is free breakfast!

I liked the hostel but it had a bit of a mixed crowd. You aren’t allowed to drink in the hostel which is a bit annoying because all the bars in San Pedro are so expensive. Shoutout to the cleaning lady, she never stopped working and was really sweet

Excelente totalmente recomendada !!! La mejor elección de hostal para quien anda solo o acompañado muy seguro limpio y cómodo cada espacio y el personal siempre atento a las necesidades y las sugerencias que da son excelentes para conocer

Plenty of space to store your belongings in a locker (they provide locks and keys for lockers), very clean bathrooms, and a cozy atmosphere with hammocks, but it's not large and the rooms are a bit cramped. It's centrally located, so it's easily accessible.

Location is perfect! I also really enjoyed the courtyard, very cozy. Breakfast is ok but it’s free. Cons: no privacy curtains, only 1 outlet in a 6 bed dorm, wifi did not work in my room, no microwave in the kitchen, only cash accepted as form of payment.

my jacket got stolen from the dorm!! You dont have any lockers in the small rooms...

Good hostel. A bit pricey but similar to many in this area. Only issue was wifi was pretty poor

The hostel is nice and welcoming and, staff is very kind and the location is perfect. However this was not good value for money: it is very expensive for a hostel, the rooms are small and you dont have electricity/usb plugs for every bed. Also the public area is just outside the rooms and its hard to sleep at night wirh all the talking.

Hostel muito limpo, quarto limpo, os banheiros tambem. O chuveiro com banho quente a qualquer horario. Localidade muito boa! Os atendentes super solicitos e muito atensiosos. Cafe da manha simples.
