+ It was average and over priced
- It’s far from town, dark area, no lights, front desk was very rude, cold shower, and untrustworthy management.
+ The pictures
- The pictures do not look like the actual hostel. They charge you so much money for staying here and the front desk is inappropriate and rude. The in house cleaning staff was great but don’t trust front desk they will scam You.

- -the receptionist claimed that I ate in the room and was rude -the tours are more expensive than in the city -no vibe, they could help more -very loud noise out of the shower so I couldnt sleep (they didnt care)

- They will charge you extra if you don’t pay cash… taxes that only locals should pay as well
+ The location, the size of the room
- The cleaning was not done properly. There was dust everywhere under the bed. And there was glass in the bathroom before we arrived. Even after reporting it, there was still glass there. We could have hurt ourselves. The lack of technical means when it comes to paying VAT as tourists, because we French have debit cards and had to pay 19% VAT, which is not due in Chile as tourists. The hotel only accepts credit cards and cash, which is not normal at all.
+ A acomodação é ok. Os passeios saem muito cedo, e talvez as paredes sejam finas demais, então acaba fazendo barulho de madrugada…. Ele deixam uma marmitinha pro café nos dias que precisamos.
- Segundo informado o Café da manhã e servido as 7h30 mas no único dia que fomos tomar café lá, às 7h30 ainda nãos tinha nada pronto. Na descrição da acomodação informava que tinha ventilador, mas não tinha. E bem longe do centro pra ir andando.

- Reservé el alojamiento exclusivamente por su servicio de lavandería y cuando pregunté me indicaron que ya no lavaban, en booking sigue apareciendo. Te ofrecen servicio de traslado del aeropuerto pero no es del hotel, es una empresa externa que va recorriendo todos los hoteles.Además, teníamos el desayuno incluido y al no poder acudir por los horarios de las excursiones nos prepararon un análisis para llevar (el bebestible caducado)
+ Está a unos 15 minutos caminando hasta la Plaza de Armas de San Pedro La decoración es cuidada . Espacios comunes equipados con sombras , mesas y asientos Amable persona que prepara los desayunos Arriendan bicicletas
- No hay disponibilidad efectiva de estacionamientos , hay que pedirlo . Si están unos al lado de otro no se pueden abrir las puertas o hay que estacionar en tren sin que se pueda entrar o salir sin riesgo . Tuvimos que dejar el auto una noche afuera. Se necesita cambiar cama urgente . Estaba en malas condiciones y mal reparada ( con un palo sobrepuesto ) y los resortes vencidos Pasamos calor . La habitación no contaba con aislación térmica suficiente ni aire acondicionado , solo un ventilador insuficiente y ruidoso Falta de aislación acústica y poca iluminación natural El desayuno sin frutas, quesos blancos , sin dispensador de agua filtrada ni alimentos livianos .

Tout était parfait pour mon séjour ici. Tranquilité et propreté. Les dortoirs sont confortables et le personnel est tellement accueillant et toujours prêt à nous aider. Le déjeuner était très bon avec beaucoup de choix. Je recommande 100% si vous passer à San Pedro
Such a lovely cosy hostel! staff are lovely and so welcoming. incredibly well stocked kitchen (never cooked on a better hostel oven). also free breakfast! coffee, eggs and pancakes. such an absolute treat.
I enjoyed staying at Hostal Belen. Marcela was welcoming and sweet. The breakfast was one of the best free breakfasts I’ve had. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The room had separate single beds and lots of storage. The bathroom unfortunately had a bit of a weird smell and the garbage that only opened with a foot pedal was not practical. Also the bathroom would have benefitted from regular mopping. The atmosphere is quite subdued; I personally enjoy a hostel that is a bit more social.
Can’t recommend this hostel enough! It’s an absolute gem. The staff and owner are incredible kind and the breakfast is amazing. It’s super clean, beds are comfy, showers hot and the location is just a 10min walk away from the center or a 5min walk from the supermarket. It’s quiet but easy to meet people. I loved my stay here!
Das Hostel ist an sich super. Der 4-Bett Dorm ist riesig und die Betten super bequem. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das Frühstücksbuffet war auch ausreichend. Man hat sogar frisch gemachte Pancakes oder Rührei bekommen. Die Stargazing Tour, die wir über das Hostel gebucht haben, war auch großartig. Das Einzige, was uns gestört hat, war, dass an unserem Abreisetag die Rezeption früher zugemacht hat und wir dann unser Gepäck woanders unterbekommen mussten..
Superbe hostel, je ne peux que recommander. Une équipe au top et d’une extrême gentillesse merci Nayra, Marcela et Francesca ! Tout l’établissement est d’une propreté remarquable, un petit déjeuner super et une cuisine très bien équipée ! Les espaces communs sont cosy et les dortoirs avec de bons matelas et de l’eau chaude. The Hostel was great - they were quite flexible, we booked the Stargazing tour through them which was amazing and they even gave us a breakfast bag when we were up early one morning to go on the Geysers tour. Would definitely recommend!
Very nice hostel in San Pedro de Atacama! The staff is really nice. The rooms and common areas are super clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good. I fully recommend it!

+ Quarto largo, camas com boa distância. WI-fi bom. Banheiro dentro do quarto - so divide com as oessoas do quarto (4 no total). Café da manha muito bom. Melhor q alguns hotéis - ovos mexidos e panquecas preparados à pedido disponíveis incluso no cafe - só nao tem frutas, o resto tem. Limpeza exemplar, funcionários ótimos. Só é um pouco afastado. Se vc nao se importar de andar 1km para a cidade, eu totalmente recomendo ( mudei para outro por causa da distância e além de ser 3x mais caro, quarto muito ruim, banheiro pior ainda).
- Só a distância. Chegava consado dos passeios e dava preguiça de ir ao centro depois.
+ I absolutely love my stay here! The hospitality of the hostel staff is unparalleled: delicious breakfast or snacks for early morning tours are provided, super friendly receptionists and very nice rooms and public areas. A bit of walking distance from the main street Caracoles but the perk is that it's quiet at night - essential for a good sleep especially if you book early morning tours.

+ We loved this hotel. The staff were super helpful. We planned to eat out all the time but the kitchen was great so we cooked a couple of times. We also booked a large room and it was huge.

+ J ai adoré, tout était parfait, la jeune fille qui nous a reçu, était très souriante et agréable, la jeune personne du déjeuner: un amour. Le reste était à leur image, très très propre ( ma priorité), l endroit très calme, avec un patio sympathique, les chambres parfaites et proche du centre 10/10 , l endroit que j ai préféré de tout mon voyage 😍

- A experiência de hospedagem envolve acolhimento. e a postura de uma das recepcionistas foi totalmente contrario a isso. O atendimento da funcionaria foi tão inadequado, rude, grosseira e sem cordialidade que me senti desrespeitado e constrangido como hospede. obs.: são duas funcionarias, a venezuelana e extremamente profissional, educada e prestativa, a outra que teve atitude incompatível para um bom atendimento.

+ Glad that I stayed at this hostel in San Pedro. The staff including the manager were excellent and communicated via WhatsApp and could speak English or used the translator- they organised the airport transfer from Calama to the hostel in San Pedro de Atacama, which was really helpful, and also offered tours - I booked the Piedras Rojas tour through them since it included pickup from the hostel (at end of the tour, drop off was at the main street just a short walk back to the hostel - it may be slightly cheaper to book tours outside but you may need to go to the pickup point yourself) and it was superb! Breakfast was simple but good enough.
- No aircon (although it cooled off at night so not a big issue) and no TV (did not have much time to watch anyway)
