Little Coogee Hotel

+ The only thing I liked was the parking and putting my door Key into the returns box on the way out. The beach walk down the road was beautiful.

- When booking, I had booked two rooms. I was unaware that there were three levels of stairs that you had to take all your luggage up!! one room was given downstairs and one up on level 3, not convenient when you were staying with a group of friends. The room on Level 3 had an empty coke can still sitting on the cupboard within the room and when using the bathroom the wall mounted towel rail had fallen down off the wall and landed onto my friend.

+ Location is great, near the beach (10min walk), and there are few restaurants in the area

- Terrible noise from the room next door (woman screaming and crying, loud hits in the walls), after trying to contact the reception via whatsapp, calls, no response so i ended up calling police as i was not sure if the woman needs help. I went to sleep terrified. Same thing repeated two days later, and still no response from the hotel, not a "how are you"; "we solved it", "we are sorry", nothing until when i left and then they decided to contact me finally. A bit too late. Rooms cleaning is done every 2 days but only towels were changed and toilets vacuumed, the bed was not made, trash (2 cans of cola on the table left for recycling) were not taken. Generally very noisy from the street below (windows are think and not double glazed).

- really noisy but I guess to be expected in a hostel. The horrible part was a big stain on my sheets but no one at reception to get new ones so had to lie on top of the provided blanket. I have stayed in about 15 hostels in my time for the same price range and none have been so dirty. A thick layer of dust on everything genuinely about 4 mm thick, especially the top of my bunk, genuinely unbelievable and I know everyone brings there own towels and toiletries but a communal wall pump soap or something would have been appreciated. Like at least provide soap or hand sanitiser given how dirty it is. All common areas close at 10.30 which is a bit of a shame, can't get out of cramped room and have a cup of tea after that etc. Also big gross stain on couch so it was pretty unpleasant to even sit out there to try and get away from the disgusting room.

- Kein Empfang, kein Parkplatz obwohl das im Angebot enthalten war. Nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage. Sauberkeit an der Grenze des erträglichen!

+ Good location, close to Coogee, easily walkable and right next to bus stop. Nice terrace. Relatively quiet.

- Beds were rock hard, only one really thin pillow and rooms were very small that it was hard to sort out your belongings without disturbing anyone.

- Keine Möglichkeit das Bett zu tauschen oder Zimmer zu wechseln bei erster Nachfrage, hatte einen kaputten Fuß und konnte die Treppe nicht hoch. Erst beim Check out früher als geplant hätte es doch eine Möglichkeit gegeben ..Ich glaube ich hatte einfach sehr Pech bei meinem Besuch

+ La proximité avec la plage et les commerces dans le quartier tout comme la facilité de se déplacer avec les transports en commun

- Mobilier vétuste. Traces de moisissures dans la chambre et la salle de bains. Porte linge de la salle de bains qui tombait en ruines. Fenêtre de la chambre presque impossible à ouvrir. Et finalement hôtel très mal insonorisé. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans l'hôtel et dans la rue

+ Good friendly hostel in a good location near plenty of cafes and restaurants, a short walk from a couple of beaches. The hills round here are pretty intense so be prepared! Bed curtains for privacy with charging porta and both a locker and drawer for each guest. Staff were friendly and attentive. Activities available for getting to meet people. Staff were on hand via whatsapp for anything you need

- Gym was minimal which is understandable but some of the equipment was broken. Room was perhaps on the small side for 4 people.

+ The staff are all so welcoming and amazing as are all the amenities and cleanliness of the place.

+ I had a wonderful experience at this hostel! The location is absolutely perfect, making it so easy to get around. The common areas are very spacious and comfortable, which is great for relaxing or meeting people. ​A special shout-out to Betina at the reception—she was incredibly friendly and welcoming! The overall infrastructure and the support provided with various assistances were top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay.

+ The room was really nice—tidy and clean. It was also great to have a fridge in the room. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it looked clean and a good size. If you’re looking for a quieter neighbourhood close to the beach, with good bus connections, this hostel is a great option. There’s a direct bus to the airport and an easy connection to the city centre.

- I stayed in a women’s room next to the kitchen, so you could sometimes hear people and the pipes when water was being used. It wasn’t too bad for me, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it might bother you. Also, the bed curtains have metal rings that make noise when you move them—just a small detail, but it could matter to some people.

+ Such a chill vibe, quiet and Perf location for coogee honestly felt like a hotel

+ The location is wonderful, a ten minute walk from Clovelly Beach with an array of cafes up the road in the opposite direction. There are also a range of restaurants in the vicinity and the famous Coogee Beach is 10 minutes away by uber.
