Hostal Azul

Long story short, I don’t think I will stay at this place again until new management is put in place or training is provided.

Nous avons choisi cet auberge car c'était bien indiqué qu'il y a un free drink à 19h30 lors de notre réservation. Nous avons confirmé aussi avec la réception à notre arrivée. Nous avons marché pendant presque 1h juste pour attraper le free drink à 19h30 et on nous dit après que c est annulé. Le lendemain, on nous dis que c pas gratuit finalement, que c plutot 2 pour le prix d'un alors que c bien marqué gratuit en réservant (j'ai le screenshot)

We hated the first room we got but then got to change to casa Luna and that side was really good.

We paid for a private room and it was basically a fishbowl with windows everywhere. The staff was incredibly rude when we would ask for the location of ice or mosquito nets and when we mentioned that there were multiple animals in our room and in our things, they laughed and mocked us. At night, the door was open with nobody sitting at reception which was concerning since we are in a very central location in the city. Overall, it felt not very safe and I would not recommend choosing this hostel.

Goed gelegen hostel met over het algemeen aardig personeel. Echter was de privekamer een soort vissenkom met doorzichtige gordijnen dus privacy hadden we niet echt. We hebben onze witte was laten doen en die kregen we terug met allemaal roze vlekken. De eigenaar vond dat onze eigen schuld en bood geen oplossing. Het ontbijt was om de dag hetzelfde en niet lekker.

It's a decent Hostel but honestly I don't understand the good rating. It's not super clean and the rooms are quite hot since it is 14 persons in one room. The activities in the evening didn't happen three days in a row because no on registered. Cleanliness is okay but could be better. But the location is perfect for Granada and the staff is nice. Also the included breakfast in the morning is fine.

Bruillant => musique toute journée ; 't'ite demande pour un peu moins fort aux heures creuses ? Non, c'est pour l'ambiance, c'est comme ça ... Vous arrivez tard & fatigué ? La cuisine est fermée donc tant pis ! Chips ou morceau de pain pour dépanner ? Non, y'a pas !!! Pas de limite d'heure ni de bruit pour les couche-tard pétomanes et/ou alcoolisés qui rient & parlent fort : toutes les chambres sont disposées autour de la cour intérieure, jolie mais petite donc on entend tout, toujours...

Hostel was in good location and had a nice pool. The air con is only on from 9pm-7am and it is set to 76° F (which isnt air conditioning). Says no curfew but were told at 10pm that we cant even sit in the social areas to talk and that if we wanted to talk we had to go outside in the street. They have a security guard on Fridays in the 2nd building checking wristbands to see if you live in the building ( I wasnt given one) and had to argue with the security guard that I lived there.

Het personeel is erg onvriendelijk en vooral onduidelijk. Hierdoor heb ik eten gekregen waar ik allergisch voor ben terwijl ik duidelijk dit van te voren had gecommuniceerd

Don’t allow a volunteer to try charge us for beers we didn’t order. A few of the beds had fleas/jumping creatures. Don’t let crack heads into the hostel posing as official staff for the treehouse party to escort us to the pick up point then beg for money. Staff vouched for him which was rather shocking to discover when he got bodied by security at the next place.

My stay at hostel azul was really amazing! It is spacious with an amazing communal area. The pool is well kept, the staff is amazing. They all remembered me by name and were beyond accommodating. Stiwar is so friendly, approachable and was always lending a helping hand. So grateful for my time at hostel azul!!

Génial, je recommande vraiment. Nourriture végétarienne, activités toutes la semaine et un piscine pour un prix vraiment abordable

I had a great stay at Hostel Azul. The facilities are great and the pool is clean. Each bed has a personal mini fan and a light. The free breakfast is good. And special mention to Stiwar who was very welcoming and accommodating during my stay!

Pretty decent hostel. Comfy, spacious rooms and plenty of showers and toilets for everybody including an en-suite for the doom rooms which was handy. Staff were helpful. However please do the curtains for the bed, they’re not stable so the metal bar fell on me several times

The whole vibe was amazing, just a beautiful hostel. The volunteer Niamh was such a sweet angel, love her. The only negative aspect is that the hostel is split so if your friends are on the other side you have to walk back and forth.

Las chicas de recepción son top, te ayudan muchísimo y son súper comprensivas. Las instalaciones son lindas, no tuve mucho tiempo para disfrutarlas pero me habría gustado estar más tiempo.

Me gustó el albergue desde el principio, es perfecto para relajarse. Está muy limpio y se ocupa constantemente de ello. Servicio muy agradable. muchas gracias;)

-AC was a bit loud in the night -Showers and toilets were always clean -Liked the free breakfast that had different options everyday. -Staff sometimes just barged into room but otherwise very helpful and friendly and especially Andrea at reception. -They also have a lot of events on so it’s easy to be social but can also just keep to yourself. -Nice common areas. Took some nice naps in the hammocks. -Nice central location too not too far from most things

Great Hostel! But much better Staff, Niamh, Diones and Andrea made my stay unforgettable:) BREAKFAST was just delicious and the common area with the pool and hammocks created a perfect atmosphere to chill and enjoy your day after some cool activities like Kayaking.

Couldn’t recommend enough - lovely space, great staff and lots of free activities incl. free pasta night. Two breakfast options every day and coffee available all day. The pool area is great for chilling and there are some nice quiet spaces to work from.

The staff at Azul went above and beyond for me. I came to this hostel with a pretty severe ear infection. The Hostal organized doctor to come see me and the manager Marling stayed by my side and helped translate for me and held my hand through some of it. They helped me get my medication delivered to me and brought me breakfast in bed while I was recovering. Big thankyou to Siwar and the volunteers here, Niamh, Jane and Sébastien for being so kind and supportive and helping me through this!!

Très bonne auberge, bien placée. La piscine, le billard et la table de ping pong sont un vrai plus. La cuisine est bien équipée même s’il manque une passoire. L’eau à distribution c’est un +. Les dortoirs sont ok, les casiers aussi. L’ambiance est sympa parce que des activités sont proposés tous les jours

Great hostel. The side with the reception area is where you eat your free brekkie and where events happen. We took the complimentary walking tour from there - Gustavo was excellent. The other side is where the deluxe dorms were where we stayed. Also in this side is the pool, a kitchen, hammocks, table tennis and pool table. We cane with our teenage children. Really relaxed, clean hostel.

Such a fun hostel! Super social made loads of friends. Shout out to Andrea for being so lovely. They also have lots of social activities in the evening and tours.

Un des meilleurs hostel où je suis restée, le lieux est grand propre, bien situé, les personnes qui y travaille sont tres accueillantes et sympathiques!

Really liked this hostel as they had an entire building across the street full of facilities to use. Unfortunately I was only spending one night so I didn’t get to use them but they looked very nice!
