Hospedium Hostel Republica Surf House

The hostel provided an incorrect address, with no community nearby, so I had to walk 6km down the road. The owner showed no empathy and even showed prejudice, being completely hostile. She kicked me out of the hostel at 11am without letting me have lunch, embarrassing me. The cleaning staff, however, does their job, leaving everything clean. I do not recommend it.

Incredible spot. Friendly and helpful staff, felt like family as soon as I walked through the door. Easily the most frequently cleaned hostel I’ve stayed at. Great backyard and a great (but small) kitchen. I look forward to returning soon.

All in all a pretty good experience. If you wanna surf and party a bit on the weekends, this hostel is perfect. It’s a clean and relaxing safe space only 10 min from Riberia dilhas. On the weekends you can go to ericeira with the other roommates.

We got lock out of the room and had to sleep in the common area, the staff didn’t seem to care that much, paid a night to sleep outside of my room, very badly, don’t recommend

You sleep next to a really loudly road. There is no room key. So everyone can come into the room 24/7. No boxes to put your luggage in, not well protected. The only plus is the professional looking kitchen. It is small though and the garden. With is a nice chill spot. Wouldn't want to stay here more then 1 night.

Wonderful people working there. A chilled out vibe. Very friendly guests. An ocean side cocoon. Paradise.

La chambre était toute mignonne mais la propreté laisse vraiment à désirer, notamment dans les douches. Emplacement en bord de route a Ribamar donc pas commode pour aller à Ericeira sans voiture!
