Nativo Hostel

There is no hot water here and the sanitary environment is average. I asked the staff if the equipment was broken? They responded with a very bad attitude, we only use cold water for bathing here. All right! Regardless of the living habits of local people, hot water is a common facility requirement. Moreover, other local hostels have hot water, only this one does not.

Only one shower for dorms and double shared bathroom rooms, and it’s really gross. Extremely dated and not very clean. Theres another shared toilet which also isn’t clean and has no toilet seat. The toilet located outside is the best one. Room was ok if a little dated and not the cleanest. Location is ok if you don’t mind being a little out of town.

這間青旅確實有很多可以放空或是放鬆的空間，男老闆服務也算是還不錯但是女工作人員則是非常需要再加強訓練才行，沒有客人入住時她不是在聊天就是一直在講電話，客人還沒有入住前她也不先把床鋪好總是要拖到客人抵達時才 忽忽忙忙進行鋪床，所以常常會發生客人晚上10點11點才入住，這位女工作人員就開始完全不管是否會吵到已經正在休息的旅客而直接很粗魯的打開...

The hostel was definitely not what I expected. There was so inside common area (I think they turned it into dorms for the staff) and the outside area wasn’t really nice to chill and half under construction. The sheets of the bed were so dirty and the bathroom was dirty aswell. There were only one shower and 2 toilets which most of the time didn’t flush. Also the water wasn’t running most of the mornings. The staff was nice though.

The beds were not really comfortable and the bathroom was not nice. the atmosphere was good and it's cheap.

Super old and dirty place. Poop in the toilets, bugs on the walls/ceilings, small bunk beds (you hit your head all the time). I guess I got what I payed for. Would not recommend unless they make huge renovations and take the cleaning more seriously. It was unacceptable.

Baños completamente sucios, para tener agua caliente habia que solicitar en recepcion. Muchas camas por habitación e incomodas.

This hostel had a lot of potienal but unfortunately fell short. it had a great outdoor space and very friendly staff but the facilties were tired and dirty. the room was basic which is fine but the bathrooms were awful. no loo seat to be found! and they werent cleaned for the duration of our stay.... a used sanitary towel was in the shower cubicle the while time. with a good clean and a bit of tlc it could be cute. There were very few people staying so little atmosphere

We were made to feel very unwelcome on our last day as we asked if we could wait at the hostel before our overnight bus. They charged us 50 pesos to use the kitchen (made a sandwich w own ingredients), not allowed to drink their FREE water or sit in certain areas of the hostel, 90 pesos for a shower + 170 pesos to stay every 4 hours and wanted extra to charge our phones. Joke! This aside the hostel was basically empty, no atmosphere or events on. Bad vibes, Shower was dirty, private room was ok

Really really chill place. My friend and I were the only non Mexican people there. But the staff were very nice. Beds not the best and the rooms weren’t very cozy. It was super cold at night and my room had a window missing, so mosquitos were everywhere.

Such a laid back place to stay, run by the nicest people, I loved my time there

J’ai séjourné à l’hostel durant le dia de Muertos, tout était très bien! La literie est bonne, le personnel très aimable, la localisation parfaite pour découvrir la ville, et les espaces communs propres !

Zona muy tranquila y agradable! El staff es muy amable y ayuda con todo! Lo recomiendo!!

Hostel très cool : lit confortable, cuisine fonctionnelle, douches un peu sommaire cependant. bon rapport qualité-prix pour Oaxaca ! Le staff est super agréable !

I spend a week around dia de los muertos at the Nativo hostel and had such a good time. The staff was super friendly and especially Jairo helped me a a lot during my stay there. Can recommend going there if you want chill vibes in an authentic Mexican hostel

Hostel has a great location, very accessible and we could walk to almost everywhere in the center from there. When we were there, it wasn’t very crowded but there was a chill atmosphere. We had a lot of fun with Jairo who could also help us out with translating and getting to know the fun things in Oaxaca, especially surrounding dia de los Muertos.

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Nice rooms. Good location. Good for a short stay.

Best hostel in town. It is near the center and the owners are very kind and friendly. I recommend it

Fine hostel to stay in, was very empty when we were there, so if you’re looking for something social this is maybe not the place.

Ich habe im großen Schlafsaal übernachtet. Das Bett war bequem und es gab ausreichend Platz. Das Hostel ist zentral gelegen und bietet einen großen Außenbereich mit Sitzgelegenheiten, Tischen, Sonnenschirmen und Hängematten. Im Hof gibt es Pflanzen und Bäume an denen Papayas, Avocados und Mangos wachsen. Man hört Vögel zwitschern und mit etwas Glück sieht man sogar Kolibris. Besonders toll ist die entspannte Atmosphöre und der humorvolle und hilfsbereite Manager. Ich hatte eine tolle Z...

Beto es encantador, el ambiente tranquilo y relajado, los baños y duchas limpias y ofrece café por la mañana. Volveré en mi próxima visita a la ciudad!

This is one of the most spacious hostels I have been to with multiple spots to hang out at. The terrace was my favourite. It is very clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Great location too.
