Not recommended at all! We arrived around 10 PM and waited in a lobby full of tiny bugs. The staff showed us to our room which was a dorm (we booked a private room). After they realized the mistake we waited for around 25 until they made the room ready. I asked the staff for a free snack from the bar in the room (I was really hungry and tired, felt like it would make up for the waiting), then the staff got angry and told me I am so 'f****** lucky' that a have a place to stay and I can sleep.
not the best hostel at all. very bad atmosphere. our private room was dirty (had someone else’s toothbrush and razor in shower…) also lots of hair and tissue everywhere. wouldn’t recommend :(
It’s not a nice hostel! The staff was rude and they had no 24/7 reception. When I arrived in the evening all lights were out and I couldn’t find it at first. I payed for that night but they had no clean bed available so they gave me a dirty and used bed.. Than we had an argument and they said we can’t help you and you could better search for another hostel, it was 5 AM at that moment…. I went to Central Backpackers and it was amazing! They helped me so good. I really recommend that hoste...
IF I COULD GIVE IT A 0 I WOULD. THE MOST DISGUSTING HOST IVE EVER HAD. I LANDED AT 4AM BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY BUS TO GET ME THERE AND THE OWNDER HAD SOLD MY BED TO SOMEONE ELSE AND TOLD ME TO LEAVE IMMEDIATLEY AND GO FIND ANOTHER ROOM AT 4AM I WAS CRYING AND HE TOLD ME TO GET OFF THE PROPERTY OR HE WOULD CALL THE POLICE AND LEFT ME ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT SHAME ON YOU!!!!!
Booked through the website. When I tried to confirm if they could pick me up from the bus station they said they were full and I should stay in their friends hostel. When I got to their friends hostel, there was nobody at reception and I had to check into a different hostel. After that, they asked me to cancel my booking so they weren’t charged a commission.
they forgot my booking in the middle of the night. with me were 5 other people. they just left us outside to find something else and didnt even refund us. then the owner started cursing in emails. worst place ever. dont go here. stayed after in the other hostel in phong nha and that one is great!
we booked the property via hostel world. they didnt have rooms by the time we got there.. i booked an ensuite room about a week in advance because we were getting there late in the evening. they just took us to a home stay family and we had to talk with them to get our rooms. Our money for booking the stay was approx $2.5 , which as you know, you have to pay upfront to the website. so much for security through booking online
I would not stay here again, unfortunately there is some serious incorrect marketing in their photos, the place on the first 4 or 5 photos is a totally different hostel. I now see if you make the hero image bigger it says that it is 3 doors down the road (actually 10) but come on don't make it your main image where that note can't be seen. And I'm not the first to mention this. Secondly the lady in her pajamas is constantly hoiking and spitting around hostel, it is disgusting, avoid this place
Hostel not as shown on the pictures, this is a different hostel. We contacted the hostel in advance letting them known we would be arriving at 4am they said a taxi would pick us up but it didn’t arrive so we walked 20 minutes to the hostel. The receptionist said his phone was on silent and he went to sleep no apology for not arranging taxi. When we checked out we asked for taxi at 3am and then didn’t bother to arrange taxi. Rat poo in room and window left open so mosquito issue.
it’s not where it said it was on the map so i had to walk for an hour and then nobody was there so i couldn’t check in :)

Lage des Hostels ist ansich sehr schön, direkt am Wasser, allerdings doch ziemlich abgelegen von den volleren Hosteln. Dieses Hostel war somit auch quasi leer und die Stimmung nicht gut. Zimmer und Bäder waren okay und Frühstüxk inklusive.
The location of the hostels is also very nice, directly on the water, however still quite remote from the more crowded hostels. this hostel was also quasi empty and the atmosphere not good. rooms and bathrooms were okay and breakfast included.
It was the best hostel I’ve stayed in in vietnam so far… the family is so nice and welcoming, the food is great, the view amazing. Totally reccomend!
The staff is probably the sweetest i've encountered in SEA so far - and thats saying something :)
They're kind and very helpful if you need anything, the place is quiet so you can relax and enjoy the slow life there
Really nice clean hostel and staff were super friendly. The rooms were so nice and clean we stayed in a private room and it was lovely. More of a quiet hostel but a good location
Was overall a good experience. Good facilities and good food. Du was very helpful with everything we needed. Was definitely overcharged for our bus tickets we booked through the hostel though. Paid 750k where as others paid 400k through their hostel.

Kwamen daar aan en alles werd meteen geregeld wat erg fijn was! Kamers waren schoon en badkamer erg groot met eigen handdoeken en toiletspullen die je erbij kreeg! Bed was prima te doen! Mensen waren erg vriendelijk en wilde je altijd helpen en je kon zeker een borrel met hun drinken en het eten was zeker lekker en niet te duur! Zwembad was ook geweldig ga hier naartoe!
I came there and everything was arranged immediately which was very nice! rooms were clean and bathroom very large with your own towels and toiletries that you got with you! bed was great to make! people were very friendly and you always wanted to help and you could definitely have a drink with their drinks and the food was definitely delicious and not too expensive! pool was also great go here

This accomodation is absolutely lovely. It’s a family company and you can feel the lovely vibe. The manager is also trying to help every time. The food is super tasty. Toilets and the dorm was absolutely clean. Really liked my stay there - highly recommended!
I hate to say anything bad about homestays because the people are so kind but this place was kind of a disaster. I booked for a friend and I and we were put in different rooms as well as 6 bed dorms when we booked a 4 bed. Both dorm and private rooms have no keys so there is no way to lock your stuff up. The lockers are big enough to put maybe a purse in. The sheets on the bed are a lace material so you can see through them to the mattress. Both of our beds also had crumbs on them.

I loved this place, they have everything you need, the bed in the bunkbeds are very comfortable and the owner is very nice and fun. Also had great food here.
Weird vibes to be honest. The hosts seemed drunk/high all the time. The room was dirty and mouldy and the toilet was clocked. Not social. There are snacks and drinks in the room and they will charge it.
We had a great stay at the hostel, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We booked a cave tour through the hostel which I can't recommend enough, and once back at the hostel we were able to use the showers and enjoy a lovely meal before getting a night bus - also booked through the hostel. 10/10!

Overall nice pool but I had booked a dorm and ended up getting put in a room with a couple which wasn’t what I had booked. Aside from this it is a nice property & the owners were lovely
They have a nice family dinner package the bathrooms are clean and nice. The hosts have great English i would not stay anywhere else again
The family is really friendly and helpful, we played with their kids and we had a nice family dinner with them, they also have a nice pool. They speak really good english as well i recommend it
