Faltaba mantención y limpieza en áreas comunes, había acopio de reciclaje pero estaba descuidado y llenisimo, las camas y sábanas estaban limpias pero el piso de la habitación con tierra, insectos muertos y restos de suciedad
There was a lack of maintenance and cleanliness in common areas, there was a recycling collection but it was sloppy and overcrowded, the beds and sheets were clean but the floor of the room was covered with dirt, dead insects and debris remains
Everything hasn’t been really clean, we felt not very welcome, there were no activities at all so we just had to sit the time out and most of all the door to the sleeping room couldn’t be closed neither could the window so it was a really really cold night
Unfortunately this location has so much potential – probably in the past. There isn’t something like a reception. Mostly if you find something, you can‘t find the staff:miguel. There was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. On the morning of my second day, I asked a staff member (who was hard to find) to fix this. When I came back from my day trip, there was still no toilet paper. Bad service.
Ubicado en borde de una ruta, sino lugar mágico. La comunicación fue difícil,con Miguel no responde y poco reactivo. Ue sea antes o a la llegada Françoise un amor, muy atenciónada.. liugar lmpió.
Located on the edge of a route, but a magical place. communication was difficult, with miguel not responding and not very reactive. either before or at the arrival of françoise a love, very attentive.. place l'ambió.
Le Spot est remarquable, bien placé entre les différents points d'intérêt. Il n'y a pas de WiFi. La piscine n'était pas utilisable, c'était vraiment dommage. L'accès aux sanitaires n'étaient pas toujours possible. Pas trop mal dans l'ensemble mais un peu cher du coup.
The Spot is remarkable, well placed between the different points of interest. There is no WiFi. The pool was not usable, it was really a shame. Access to toilets was not always possible. Not too bad overall but a bit expensive.
Amazing, scenic location for a hostel with fantastic star gazing. Great atmosphere and everyone was so friendly and chatty, with a group pizza night which was good fun. As you are quite in the middle of nowhere and without a car, the local buses are easy to navigate and get around but a little bit of a pain for some locations off the bus route (some vineyards and pisco distilleries). I was quite surprised that there’s no wifi at the hostel and also that a lot of the bathroom facilities weren�...
Nice relaxing hostel with great staff and volunteers but be aware that it may be very empty and quiet, there were barely any other people staying there whilst I was there so don’t expect to meet loads of people to do things with. Luckily, the volunteers are all really friendly and up for doing activities with you on their days off
It’s fine for the price (it was low season) but the bathrooms were all shared and they didn’t have soap. Also they have volunteers but no reception or someone available if you have questions (you have to look for them) they didn’t sell anything but they said that they were getting back on track, they didn’t have hot water. But the location is right along the highway, although a bit far from Pisco Elqui. Great view of the stars
Descanso perfecto. Las instalaciones y servicios cumplen al 100%, pero por sobre todo la calidad proveniente desde el staff. Gracias!!

Leider kein Wifi und liegt schon sehr abgelegen. Das sollte einem bewusst sein - 20 min mit dem Bus nach Pisco Elqui

Grato, limpio, acogedor y excelente ubicación. Atención muy amena.
Nice, clean, cozy and in an excellent location.
Great hostel. A few small shops near by but, not much else. We greatly appreciated the swimming pool and different areas to hang out in. Would recommend staying there for one night.

Lugar hermoso, relajado y armonioso, solo que por ser habitaciones pequeñas y por el calor hay que dormir con la puerta abierta y los zancudos no dejan dormir ahí sugerencia de espanta zancudos de enchufe.....lo de más maravilloso
Beautiful place, relaxed and harmonious, only because they are small rooms and because of the heat you have to sleep with the door open and the zancudos don't stop sleeping there suggestion of scare zancudos plug.....the most wonderful thing
A Beautiful place for relaxing and disconnecting with a bus connection to the observatory in Vicuña and to Pisco Elqui, for example. It had an interesting mix of chilean families and other travellers as guests along with volunteers but I loved the vibe. Also they have a lovely hostel dog who made my stay :)
L'ostello è in posizione perfetta per visitare la valle, sia se si viaggia in autostop che con mezzo proprio, che in autobus. Il luogo è molto tranquillo. Nonostante la vicinanza alla strada i rumori sono praticamente assenti. Personale gentile e tutto ben curato Lo raccomando!
The hostel is in a perfect position to visit the valley, whether you are travelling by hitchhiking or con mezzo proprio, or by bus. the location is very quiet. despite being close to the road the rumors are practically absent. kind staff and everything well cared for I recommend it!

Hostel Cosmo Elqui Valley it's a wonderful experience for travelers all around the world. The hostel it's very beautiful, clean and joyful. If ur looking to get to experience the wonders of the rising stars in the middle of the Elqui valley, get to know friends from different countries and pay an affordable price (almost to low 🥲), this is your option. Thank you for this marvelous experience, I really have a great time. ☀️❤️

Super friendly staff and they organise things to do. Really great place to see the stars at night as well.
Genial alojamiento con piscina a muy buen precio con un ambiente muy grato por parte de staff y de los demás huéspedes, tuvimos una muy buena experiencia.

Good for one night to experience something different and do a bit of stargazing during a longer stay in the Elqui Valley. Vicuna is a better base for most of the stay. Nice atmosphere with everyone gathering in the kitchen in the evening to enjoy the sunset and cook dinner. Reminiscent of Burning Man. Facilities are visually cool but slightly run-down and the washrooms and pool in particular aren't the most functional or cleanest.

This place is awesome! Matthias really went above and beyond to give us the ultimate experience. Everyone was super friendly and having a pool is the icing on the cake! Definitely worth a visit!
