Ibrahim Garden Hostel

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was so relaxing and that staff here are very friendly and help you with anything you need. It was lovely sitting outside listening to nature and being surrounded by trees and plants. I will be calling back here on my way back to Nairobi. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

2 nachten hier geweest. Het was nog erg rustig hier. Het is een familiebedrijf waar zo'n 10 kamers zijn. Locatie is prima Beetje onduidelijk of je hier zelf mag koken. Ontbijt is goed, fruit toast en omelet met groente

We had a very nice stay here!

Wurde dort um mein Geld betrogen. Ganze Tour gebucht und nur die Hälfte bekommen. Musste während der Tour auch nochmal extra was drauf zahlen. Kann den Landen nicht empfehlen. Eine Schande.

Pretty clean and very good quality for price. Staff was very kind and the garden/courtyard was lovely and had a very nice atmosphere. Pretty quiet and good energy. Only complaint was that the toilets were outside, so they were kind of a pain to get to. Also there was a deficit of toilet paper.

The hostel was good, but Safari was a desaster with the driver smelling like alcohol and the vehicle having multiple failures (some life-threatening) and eventually completely breaking down in the middle of nowhere where we had to be rescued. I was promised a refund that they would transfer on my account, but they never did. After multiple excuses both Ibrahim and Simba stopped answering my messages. That was the moment I realised I got screwed.

Open fixed windows without mosquito nets. Impossible to sleep. I don’t recommend staying here

Unser Aufenthalt im Hostel war sehr schön. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und hatten für alle Fragen ein offenes Ohr und wertvolle tipps parat. Das Frühstück (Ei und Toast) war sehr lecker. Rundum ein sehr authentisches Hostel in welches wir immer wieder gehen würden.

I had a pleasant, though short, stay at the hostel. The high points of the 2 nights I spent there, were the friendly and helpful staff and the very cozy common area. The only minus I could think of, would be that the Wi-Fi didn't work in my room. But overall, a definite recommendation from me.

Good hostel, great location

la cosa que menos me gustó del hostal es el tema de seguridad, no hay locker o armarios donde poner tu ropa y cualquier persona puede entrar. el hostal está gestionado a nivel familiar, esto significa que las personas son majas pero seguramente falta de un tono de profesionalidad. a nivel calidad precio se puede encontrar algo mejor, igualmente no es una mala solucion para pasar una noche.

The staff is very friendly and help whereever they can. For the colder nights, good blankets are provided. The common area is very big and has lots of opportunities to chill or sit in. Everything looked clean. Delicious breakfast with bread, fruit and omlette. It is not located in the city centre but therefore a lot quieter. I would come again.

The hostel is undergoing renovations, so some facilities are unavailable. I would have rated higher, however I had a bad experience with the owner. They only take cash and Ibrahim promised my change. One hour later, as I was leaving for a safari, I asked for my change and he said he sent someone to get it but she did not return. We got into a discussion and he made several more excuses before giving the correct change to the driver. Being a hostel and tour company owner, I wouldn't trust him.

Amazing staff and facilities.

Great location to walk into town and also for tourist attractions such as national parks and Mount Kilimanjaro. Staff and owners very welcoming and helpful. Overall, great value for money

Great relaxing hostel in a convenient location! The outside garden is really nice to chill, the staff is friendly (they even drove me to the bus station for my 6 AM bus) and I was upgraded to a private room since the water in the dorms wasn’t working, which was really nice. Breakfast is fine and location is convenient (quiet but not far from city). Two things to note: navigate to Ibrahim’s garden hostel, since Green garden hostel doesn’t exist on maps, and pay only in cash.

if You are coming to Arusha, stay in Ibrahim Garden i can really recommend it to because i stayed bi Ibrahim garden for almost 1 Monat. The location from Ibrahim Garden is really good because its close to the City,its very peaceful,friendl people and your belongings are safe. after i Interacted with the Owner Ibrahim, Joseph and Erik. They are patient, super chill and respectful Human beings. the Hostel is clean because i see the Staff cleaning the Hostel every single day.

i had a great stay at this hostel, the staff was very attentive and everything i needed was there. i was originally supposed to stay in an 8 man dorm, but because the water wasn't working there they moved me to a 2 man dorm for the same price!

Had a really nice stay here. The garden area is huge and colourful and a good place to just relax. I could leave my backpack in storage as long as I was gone for the safari tour. Even though I was more or less the only person there becuase of off season, the staff was super nice and really made me feel at home. Oh yeah and the breakfast and the food they cooked for me tased just amazing!

Ruhige, gemütliche Umgebung zum wohlfühlen und mit viel Potenzial für die Zukunft. Manger und Köchin wunderbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Gerne wieder.
