Bilbao Hostel

Stay at your own peril. Less a hostel and more of a last resort for a night. Do not spend more than one. My bed / room got overbooked and I arrived back to someone sleeping where I had been with no other one for me. Bathrooms on my floor were rarely cleaned. The free breakfast is all but in name. Room locker had a broken hinge. Front desk is barely helpful. Other issues too. A 30 min walk uphill from the bus station. Extremely overpriced. All that being said, the view is quite nice

The staff are rude and the most inflexible I have met in my decades long travel life. The reviews on Hostelworld are for some reason good but if you look at the Google reviews, this hostel has terrible reviews and it makes all the sense in the world.

Rude staff, only two bathrooms on the entire floor. Poor sanitary conditions.

I checked in to this hostel and someone else was staying in my bed. I complained to the reception and they refused to do anything about it. They even refused to provide me with a refund, and even threatened to call the Police on me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The whole atmosphere of the hostel was strange, we didn’t feel safe. Felt almost like we were staying in an old hospital. It is located near the motorway and on the outskirts of the city. The bedsheets had weird brown stains on them and beds were uncomfortable. The lockers were shaped in a way that made it impossible to put a backpack in. The only good part was the staff who gave us a nice picnic breakfast as we had to leave early the next day. Would not recommend esp if you are traveling alon...

Don’t stay there if you can help it. The bathrooms are horrifyingly dirty and the staff is rude. Also (this is not the hostel’s fault), the area is only serviced by BilboBus, which is not shown in Google maps. Finding the way to get there is pretty hard. BilboBus lines 28 and 58 will get you there and the stop is Basurtu-Kastrexana fte. 65. It’s not the same as BizkaiBus.

Decent for a night, but I wouldn't want to stay for an extended time here. The rooms are not soundproofed from the hallway and any/all noise from outside your door comes in. So light sleepers beware, lol. Free breakfast was fairly straightforward with cereal, bread, coffee, yogurt, etc.

La proximité de l'autoroute enlève tout charme et confort à cette auberge. Il est difficile de s'y endormir à cause du bruit des voitures. Apporter des boules quiès. L'auberge est passable si vous cherchez juste un endroit où passer la nuit.

Falta de produtos de higiene nas casas de banho.

I would like to thank all people who works at this hostel they were really helpful and very respectful The breakfast is very basic but it’s okay The location is a bit far from city center and the old town but a short bus ride can solve it Yes I highly recommend anyone to come and stay at the hostel

Lindo, las vistas inmejorables, las habitaciones compartidas eran para pocas personas, muy limpio (he leído comentarios de que estaba sucio, no es verdad, limpian todo el tiempo). El personal a mi llegada fue muy amable, a mi salida fue un poco hostil, cosa de suerte supongo. Volvería.

Decent for a night, but I wouldn't want to stay for an extended time here. The rooms are not soundproofed from the hallway and any/all noise from outside your door comes in. So light sleepers beware, lol. Free breakfast was fairly straightforward with cereal, bread, coffee, yogurt, etc.

The hostel is on the outskirts of Bilbao, but you can take the 28 or 58 bus to town several times per hour, or walk the 30 minutes to the centre. It's also quite close to the (international) Intermodal Busstation, 15 minute walk. The receptionist was really friendly, the beds were fine and the view of Bilbao was gorgeous.
