Bedweiser Backpackers Hostel

Pros- Walking distance from Taj Mahal. Cons- Rooms not clean.Food was bad; The staff who manages the in-house cafe was stoned all the time.The front desk guy didn't payment details and tried to fool me into paying double the promised amount.

This was an ok hostel, there are pretty limited options in Agra near the Taj Mahal (aka what everyone visits for). The others seem to be on worst streets. There are some ok restaurants within easy walking distance to Bedweiser which redeems it a bit. The restaurant on site is not running, does not look like it has for awhile, and probably won’t for awhile more. Had a private room that was noisy. AC was powerful which was crucial. Small cockroaches and not very clean. Disinterested staff.

No locks on door. Easy walk to Taj Mahal, restaurants in area. Sheets clean, curtains on bed, lockers in the form of drawers below each bed. Rooftop common space with plastic chairs. Didn’t try the shower.

Very friendly staff, lovely easy going stays in a good location close to the Taj Mahal

The staff where really calm and friendly and welcomed us into their family. we had a really early bus pick up and they arranged a rickshaw for us. The mattress was very comfortable.

Very good located and clean property! I didn't meet many people there because of off season, but that my be different in the main season. bathrooms where clean, hot water available (don't take it for granted in India), staff nice and the rooftop cafe has good food as well

Staff are helpful, and the 6 bed dorms have everything you need. They were even able to do some laundry for me - much needed!

Wonderful place to stop over and see the Taj Mahal. It’s an easy walk to the Taj Mahal from there so you don’t have to worry about arranging a tuktuk or anything early in the morning for sunrise.The rooms were very spacious and are as good as anything you’d expect from a nice hotel. The staff were very nice to me and extremely helpful. I left via nightbus, and Firoz even drove me all the way out to my pickup spot and waited there with me until the bus came.

Room was neat with everything we needed, AC was very good too. The location was fantastic, only a short walk to the Taj Mahal. Our tuktuk driver Firoz was excellent and took us to lots of different places at sometimes short notice for a very good price. The staff also went out of their way to help us, one took my partner on his moped to the cyber cafe just to help us print out our train tickets. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great option if you are on a budget and wants to see the Taj Mahal. Walking distance from the Taj Mahal for me was a big advantage and nearby there were a lot of restaurants. Was very empty when I there but Raja Khan was very kind. Two washrooms per dorm was great, also hot water in the showers.
