Bed bugs in my room, spotted because one was crawling next to the land. The refunded me and moved the other guy from my dorm. The hostel in cheap but extremely dirty. It's definitely worth paying 20$ more and go anywhere else.

L'hôtel était dans un sale état, j'étais dans un dortoir femme et il n'y avait pas de serrure. En plus de ça il y avait la présence de cafards et la seule douche était dans un salle état ! Hotel a fuir

The staff was nice, however for a girl in New York I would pick an alternative location.

Do not stay in this sh**thole. It's sso unhygenic like I've never seen before. The few dollars that you're gonna save for going for this cheap place are really not worth it.

The staff is super friendly and nice but the people who stay there are pretty sketchy… most are long term renters so they think they own the place! Moving things around, making a bunch of noise turning on and off lights. the rooms are not clean roaches were everywhere and the bathroom are nasty! Also my sweater and shoes were stolen so that sucked and not okay… I was too scared to say anything because the people in my room were crazy.

The worst hostel I've ever stayed in, the first night something ate the snacks I brought in my backpack . The mice made a hole in my backpack. 🐁

Pas compliqué : limite insalubre et particulièrement sale. Je suis extrêmement surprise que cette auberge soit sans votre catalogue .. Faites vous un suivi ? Est ce que l'inspection des services sanitaires y est passée ?

I personally loved my stay at riviera ! The owner is really nice and helpful. Place is cool with a good location. I recommend!!

施設のコンディションが、余り良くない。 シャワーが時間によってお湯が出なかったり出たり。 電気が裏庭の発電機を使用している為、電気使い過ぎに注意！ 駐車場の記載があったが施設内には無い。 通りなのかなあ。

There is absolutely no space for your legs in the bathroom on the 2nd floor. The door is right up against the toilet. Also, they kept the temperature too cold for my comfort and only provided me with a bed sheet (no blanket). This made my overall stay uncomfortable. However, the staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves were clean and provided great security. Another plus, is the location.

Talib is a great guy who is really passionate about giving. there were caffe 7/24 and breakfast.

Uno dei migliori ostelli in cui abbia mai alloggiato! La zona è tranquilla e la metropolitana si raggiunge in soli 10 minuti a piedi. Inoltre, nelle vicinanze ci sono vari negozi, supermercati e una farmacia. I bagni dell’ostello erano davvero molto puliti. Se dovessi dare un voto da 1 a 10, per me sarebbe sicuramente 11!

I booked this hostel based on an 8,9 valuation. After my stay (one night) I would give a rating of 6. This is mostly because of the kindness of the employee/owner I met on the property. The bathrooms seemed clean enough, but the other areas seem to be left to their own. Electrical sockets loose out of the box (at least two), also this in the night could be unsafe, sink faucet in kitchen area loose, dish rack rusty, just like there is not a lot of care for the basics. Am talking about really basi...

I absolutely loved this place! It is so cheap for something in NYC! Now I understand why it has so many good reviews. I wasn't able to meet the famous Talib, but the girls who greeted me were so sweet and amazing! If you want something fancy, this is not it, I just use hostels to crash out and take a shower during my trip haha so this was perfect, obviously there's some wear and tear, but everything was always clean, I slept like a baby, and you can feel an awesome friendly vibe all around 🥹�...

It is genuinely a good hostel. The owner of the hostel is super great and friendly. Just location is little bit out, but it can be managed.

Buen hostel, relación precio - calidad excelente para lo que es NY. El dueño, Talib es super amable y atento. La parada de subway más cercana está a 15 minutos. Hay muchas tiendas para comprar comida cerca y un supermercado. Las habitaciones no tienen privacidad y se escucha mucho el ruido del resto del hostel, pero está bien para pasar la noche.

You have to bring your non-US identification, or they will send you away.

You need to get up early to have hot water for shower, otherwise it might be cold water running out of the shower. Restroom is limited and sometimes need to wait. People here are friendly, although I didn't get a chance to talk with them as we had very different daily schedules and I spent most of daytime outside the hostel.
