Salsa Hostel

There was an ant infestation and cockroaches in the women’s bathroom, I’ve come away from the hostel with a lot of bites on my legs and ankles with is suspected to be flea bites probably from the 15 resident cats!

Just a place for stopping before u go off. Nothing special. They did help with booking ferry though

The property is suitable for a one night stay in between transfer but I would not recommend it for a longer stay. The facilities are limited and the atmosphere is very very quiet. The staff were professional and helpful but when we asked for dinner recommendations they sent us straight to the most expensive and not so authentic looking restaurants. Overall decent stay.

Only stayed here one night, but the staff were lovely, beds were comfortable. However I don’t know if I’d stay again not because of the hostel but because of the city. It is more quiet. But the best part were the cats.. so sweet.

the staff was really niceandhelpfull, but further than that it wasn't great. the beds are hard and the commonrooms smell like catpee. The sanitory was nice and clean.

Great place to stay when traveling to the islands and taking the boat. Not much of a vibe, very helpful staff though that helped with transport etc.

I didn't like the surroundings and the furnishings at all. I felt uncomfortable and the cat smell really bothered me. I wouldn't go there anymore.

It was a fine hostel to stay for a night for the price. Cute cats, kind owner and use of the kitchen was good. No atmosphere as travellers are passing through

Brilliant place to layover or post up for a good few days! Very clean facilities and everything you could need. Sood is very nice and helpful. ideal location for public transport/ very good food or even muay thai (go to Aekis👍) would thoroughly recommend

The beds were amazing! Just what we needed to relax there for a few days. It was also very central, so we could walk everywhere.

Couldn’t ask more from this place - the beds were clean and comfy and the staff were amazing. In a nice location on the Main Street in chumphon.

Totally fine spot to base out of in Cumphon! Clean rooms and excellent aircon, wifi seemed to work well. Staff were helpful enough, proficient at booking you on what you needed. 10 min walk from train station and lots of street food just outside.

We loved our stay here!! Especially the cats

Couldn't say anything wrong about it! The kitties are super friendly and the owner and his wife are lovely and helpful people. We were able to organise a taxi to the airport with no dramas and the room was gorgeous. Spacious, air conditioned and a comfy large bed.

I only stayed here for one night as a stop on my way back up to Bangkok however I was really impressed, i mentioned to Sood that I needed to get to Chumphon the next day and he told me I could go by train. There wasn’t any trains available at the time however Sood managed to get me a ticket to a station close by and then he managed to find me another ticket to get me to Chumphon on the same carriage, all this was around midnight so I was very grateful for his help. Beds were so comfy also!

great hostel for passing through

Todo muy bien, para pasar la noche es perfecto. Guitarra, gatos y buena onda. Recomiendo!!!

Neat and clean hostel, walkable from the train station, and really helpful staff. He helped me book the shuttle for the morning boat to ko tao and when I called him in the morning to let him know it hadn't arrived yet, he called the driver and the shuttle showed up a couple minutes later. And the cats are so adorable.

Very nice place to stay! The host is really helpful and there are lots of cutie cats around.
