Unity Hostel @ Udvar(rom)

It is in a convenient location and is above a party bar. Staff were nice and cleaned everyday. The building is a bit older and priced well for a hostel in Budapest.

La ubicación es buena un precio económico tiene lo básico abajo está un ruin bar el ruido en la noche para mí no es un problema pero si a alguien le molesta sería difícil dormir lo único malo es que en mi habitación estaban personas que trabajaban en el bar o el hostal dormían ahi y en ocasiones discutían entre ellos fue incómodo ya que no entendía Húngaro y no sabía que pasaba deberían tener habitaciones aparte para los trabajadores y los huéspedes del hostal

We planned a late check-in at midnight due to our flight arriving at 11 PM. We were never asked about our arrival time, which seemed normal since most hostels have 24-hour reception. When we arrived, there was no one to let us in. Another guest was also locked out because her key card didn’t work, and there was no staff to assist her, even though she had already paid. The hostel mentions no service after 6 PM, but only in small print, making it easy to miss. In the end, we couldn’t get in..

Hostel was relatively clean and in a good location for nightlife. The füdge udvar ruin bar underneath was very lively and had a great atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this hostel if you are looking for somewhere quiet as it can get very loud at night due to the ruin bar. It is a good hostel for people who want to party. However the reception staff tried to overcharge us when checking in and wanted to charge more than the price listed on Hostel world. Don’t fall for this and show ...

The bedsheets are extremely dirty. The hotel is built around a courtyard, and there’s a club in the courtyard that plays loud pop music until 5 AM its impossible not to hear it in your room. The staff are rude. The floors are wooden and constantly creak. There are spiders everywhere. It doesn’t feel safe for women.The only good thing is that it’s within a 7 minute walking distance to Astoria. Also, the rooms smell like mold, and you might wake up with a sore throat and coughing.

Overall we had a good normal stay, there was music and party everynight downstairs but that we knew beforehand. But they were not consistent with the timetables of the kitchen and the reception. When we did the check in they tell you tl take a picture if the hostel flyer with all the information about the check out, reception, etc, it daud that the reception was open from 8 am to 8 pm, we had to do an earlier check out and when we got ther at 6:30 pm it was closed. We would try knocking, calling...

En arrivant à l'hôtel, l'employé à la réception me demande de payer un supplément avec pour motif que la plateforme HostelWorld a fait une erreur et que j'ai réglé trop peu et qu'entre-temps le tarif a augmenté. J'ai refusé et la personne m'a signifié de dégager contre remboursement! Ne sachant pas où aller pour être hébergé, j'ai à nouveau refusé. Et là, il m'emmène dans une chambre sans chauffage, ni eau chaude dans la SDB, pas de couverture ni oreiller ni serviette! Person...

They want 50 euros for bed sheets. Rooms are terrible. Very loud.

The Lack of a kitchen renders this place bed only, not a hostel e.g. for travellers / Backpackers. Facilities only available 14:00 - 18:00 hrs is wholly unacceptable and must change.

camas muy incómodas, Hostel con pocas comodidades en general, y lo peor es lo ruidoso que es, a causa del bar que hay abajo no se puede dormir a la noche.

The rooms are very old and super uncomfortable with the loudest creaky beds. The restaurant downstairs has a nice atmosphere to meet people but the hostel itself sucks.

Wost hostel ever very different from the photos on booking and you are only warned about the party's that go on till 5am after you book, this place is a scam and has the worst most uncomfortable best on earth DO NOT BOOK

En el hostal era imposible dormir. Por la noche se escucha mucho la música de la discoteca y la gente de la habitación muy irrespetuosa. Creo que había gente viviendo en el Hostel. Por lo que cuesta merece más la pena ir a otro sitio. La mujer de la recepción es lo mejor, muy amable y siempre intentando ayudar.

My stay at this hostel was disappointing. I was told lockers were free if I bought a lock, but later charged rent after changing rooms — nothing was clearly explained. Some staff were loud at night, and one even said my food was “disgusting.” The older manager was rude and unhelpful, refusing to change my bed despite empty ones being available. Es adecuado para salir de fiesta en el mismo sitio, asi tienes sitio para dormir en un bar, pero obviamente no se recomienda a turistas como familias con niños o gente que no le interesa la actividad nocturna

L’hostel est en lui même très sympa et l’ambiance agréable, il faudrait cependant préciser qu’il se trouve au 1er étage d’un bar et que la musique s’arrête à 4h du matin.

Good hostel for the price, lovely staff and great location.
