Hospedaje Magallanes

Got a room without any window or source of air, felt like prison. Overall atmosphere a little bit creepy. Breakfast only included bread and jam with coffee. Staff was nice except for the breakfast lady that was mean to us for no reason.

Horrible place infested with bed bugs , no staff, no napkins for breakfast. I honestly don't know how it was voted 2024 hostel of the year. Tengan cuidado.

We were originally in a pretty horrible room with no ventilation and window but got moved after the first night. It didn’t feel very clean. Hostel was also very smoky with incense most of the time which hurt my throat. Kitchen was fine. Not great overall.

Nice Hostel, cozy atmosphere. homemade breakfast was great. Beds are comfy, everything is clean, staff is super nice. Good to stay for a night or two.

Nice very small guest house, more than a hostel. Bed was comfortable in the dorm. Needed more ventilation and things to do/social assists. Just a bed and a table and quite a few rules. Marisol was helpful in booking a taxi in the morning. I do recommend but wouldn't expect a backpacker experience.

Everything here was wonderful and the staff were so helpful with booking tours and giving advice of what to do. It was the end of the season so I had a room to myself which was a treat. Breakfast was left out for me the night before so I was able to eat before my early tour and bus. Plus very clean and warm.

Great hosts!!

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. The room was beautiful and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need, to cook. Supermarket is right around the corner. We would definitely stay here again! Tobias and Ariana are really fun and cool people to hang out with :)

Loved this place! Highly recommend staying if you’re in Punta arenas. It’s very clean with multiple bathrooms to use besides the ensuite to the dorm. Kitchen is great for cooking but they also offer a free breakfast with homemade yogurt, toast, tea/coffee and a special treat (banana bread, omelette). Staff is very helpful/responsive. Paying for sta is cash only, but grocery store 3 min away with atm. Hostel is a bit quiet but in a good way, bc the town is usually a stopover for travellers

This hostel is outstanding. I stayed for a week and loved every day. The people that run the hostel are so lovely, the hostel is super clean and the beds are comfy. The atmosphere is excellent and everyone that walked in commented how lovely and as t home they felt. The breakfast is also excellent.

Loved every second there! Felt line a home away from home.

Entspanntes Hostel, wenn man ein oder zwei Nächte in Punta Arenas verbringen möchte. Sehr sauber und man merkt das Liebe in dem Hostel steckt. Das Frühstück ist auch gut.

Couldn't ask for anything more, Value and Hostel vibe is exactly what you want for yourself. peace of mind and a convenient and comfortable stay with everything within 5 minutes walking distance. The hostel is located 5 minute walk from the Bus Station which is super convenient, along with this beautiful cafe name ZOE. I couldn't see how another hostel could offer a better experience. Nett, sauber, zentral, sehr gute Küchenausstattung

A lovely b&b with very well organised and friendly staff. I was messaged before my stay to find out when I would be arriving and when I told them it would be a late flight in they organised a night time check in and even put me in contact with another guest coming in on the same flight so we could share a taxi. Really helpful!! The place itself is very cosy and welcoming and a great location. Nice sociable breakfast.

super hostel,vraiment très chaleureux avec des hôtes qui m'ont grandement aidé suite à l'annulation de mon activité tour pingouin ! petit déjeuner délicieux, chambre et espaces communs très propres, lit très confortable et cuisine fonctionnelle ! Merci 😁 je recommanderai cet hostel 🙏

Gemütliches Hostel mit tollem Privatzimmer! Supermarkt um die Ecke, 5min vom Busbahnhof zu Fuß, sicher, sauber und ein leckeres Frühstück!

Hospedaje Magallanes was perfect overall. the dorm beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower facilities were excellent They cleaned everyday and everything was spotless. Marisol and the rest of the staff were awesome, offering great advice, and going out of their way to make the stay as great as possible. Super knowledgeable about the area, the tours offered, and everything in between. They even set the breakfast out early so you can have it before the penguin tours if needed. Highly recom

Super auberge à Punta Arenas !

Heel fijn om ‘s morgens ontbijt er bij te hebben. Dat was een moment waar meerdere mensen van het hostel aan de praat raakte en plannen maakte. Wel een gemis van goede pannen om te koken.

It feels more like a B&B rather than a hostel which I personally thought was nice. The free breakfast is great! Fresh homemade bread and a lovely lady making pancakes. Location is fine - just a short walk to the centre. The owner was a lovely lady who took a real interest in my stay in PA and gave me advice on what to do and helped me book onto the penguin tour which I thought was sold out. The comunal area could do with a sofa to make it feel more comfortable.

Very nice and cozy hostel. Nice and helpful staff. Kitchen is open only after 13.30.
