Chesdon Hostel

The owner was super kind and helped me a lot with some struggling stuff. The place's location is perfect as it's surrounded by convenience stores and it's only 5 minutes away from the train station. It's true that it was not full so maybe not the best option for solo travellers but it's because not many tourists go to Hualien and, as one of them, the hostel was very comfortable and clean. I had a very great stay, thank you!

It was a pleasant stay in chesdon, The owner is very sweet and very kind guy. I loved the place, its super neat.

It was a wonderful stay!!! Everything was really clean and the location is also really good, 10 min away from the train station and a 30 min walk to the nightmarket!! Soo perfect!!! Also the owner was really sweet!!! I would definitely come back here :)

Voor mij was het een perfect verblijft. Ik wist nog niet goed wat ik wilde doen in Hualien. Maar de eigenaar was heel toegankelijk en heeft me heel goed geholpen met het plannen van mijn reis. Hij is een hele lieve man. Uiteindelijk verlengde ik mijn verblijf met een extra nacht.

Great hostel and friendly host... I was about to go on a very expensive tour, but he advised me to get an e-bike rental instead. Not the safest thing I've ever done, but certainly much cheaper and more fun than the alternative

Loved my stay here, the owner is super sweet. Not overly social but very close to the train and bus station!

Hostel is super close to the train station but slightly further from the beach/night market so I would recommend renting a bike to get around. This was one of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed at and the owner was so so nice! I highly recommend this place.

Nice stay. Place was quiet when I was there, which suited me great.

Overall a good location although zero atmosphere so would not recommend for solo travellers.

boss is friendly and very very welcoming, the atmosphere at the hostel is great, might you want to be at rest or want to meet a lot of travel buddies.

Vous ne trouverez pas meilleur hostel dans Taïwan voire en Asie. Le personnel est super accueillant, les chambres sont très propres, de même pour les parties communes. Le gérant saura vous recommander les bonnes adresses de la région ! J’ai vraiment été accueillie de manière chaleureuse comme à la maison ! Merci pour tout, Bonne continuation !

The hostel is located near the train station and the bus station but it's a bit far from the night market. The owner, is super friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable and clean, same for the shower and the toilet. Recommend if you want to explore Taroko National park (closed at the moment 11/13/2024) and the nearby.

Eines der besten Hostels in dem ich je war. Super sauber, toller Host und super Lage! Highly recommend!

If I could give 6 stars on how friendly and helpful the host was I would. The place is clean and pretty well situated. I would absolutely book again
