Taipei 109 Hostel

Stayed for 2 nights and it was clean, beds comfy, lady on reception kind and helpful - but feel it was overpriced. The hostel itself was tiny and there was no real social area to meet other travellers. Felt at times that it lacked privacy - when the room was being cleaned in the morning the door would be left wide open to the main reception area, which felt a bit exposed. Saying that, it does seem that hostels here are in general not that social and a bit more pricey.

Small and a bit confusing if you arrive after 7pm but comfy bed, nice shower, great pillows and bedding, and an easy stay for an airport departure.

Situated close to main train station and some subway stations too. The staff at reception are very willing to help you with places to visit in the area and how to get there. Nice big lockers in the room to fit bigger bags. Not super social but not many hostels are these days. Would stay again if i was to return

Good hostel in Taipei

The place is a bit small so there’s not much beds but this is a good choice for taipei. It is clean. The staff is also very nice and considerate.

For the price it’s not bad, the bed is actually quite big and there’s a good amount of privacy. U won’t meet anyone here though so don’t come here expecting that. Overall decent

Good location, within easy walking distance of MRT and HSR train stations. Bus stops and many food outlets nearby.

Perfect location and the ladies at the reception are suuuper lovely and helpful!! The hostel is not very social but I still enjoyed my trip

The girls at the front desk are so cute and eager to help with any info ! The locaion is perfect. Few blocks from taipei main station! Few mins away is ur very own tokyo’s version shibuya aka xinmending. Id absolutely come back for all these points!

My favorite Hostel so far in Taipei. Clean, lovely and helpful staff, good location, spacious and comfortable room.

Good location, close to MRT and train to the airport. Clean rooms,common areas and bathrooms. Amazing and very helpful staff!

It is not a particular social hostel - but besides that, it is in every way a 10/10 hostel. The facilities are great, the staff is fantastic and helpful, it feels incredibly clean etc. I had a great stay there

The room is clean and very comfortable, the hostel is located by the Taipei train station and also close to Xiemen, very convenient. Will definitely come back!

Solid hostel! Was only there for a night but staff were very helpful in accommodating my late check-in request. Definitely not the most social focused hostel in the world but a great place to spend the night with solid facilities!

very helpful staff, clean rooms, nice beds, only one shower per room but it worked out for my stay. very good location near the main station

깔끔하고 아늑하고 필요한 건 대부분 있어서 좋았어요. 특히 변압기 멀티탭이 있어서 아주 요긴했어요~

Nice hostel - very good value for money in Taiwan. Good location close to Taipei main station and lots of buses to get to markets and attractions. Clean, nice staff, many bathrooms etc. Only issue was the common area was small so there wasn’t much atmosphere/opportunity to meet other people and I would liked a kitchen. But for the price it’s still good ☺️

Pretty good hostel. Decent location. Not too much in terms of fun hostel life but decent place to sleep. AC was freezing so sleep with clothes on. Easy self checking. Rooms were usually left unlocked. Lockers were great in room. Free water and good priced coffee.
