Bridge Backpackers

+ Good location

- The room was not clean, it was infested with mosquitos and had a lot of dead ones on the walls from previous stays. There were benches outside our room and we had people chatting there until 1.30am. There were no staff on site.

- The 3 rooms we booked for 6 persons were smelly like sign of molds and the toilet is dirty. The edges of the shower is dirty. Some curtains are falling off. The room was located at the back of the main building and the area was not clean. We have to leave the place and did not proceed to stay as the smell is not suitable to stay for kids with asthma. The photo shown on the advertisement is far from the actual settings. It is difficult to contact the helpdesk and it always go to voice messaging.

- The shower was the worst shower of my life. Like climbing into a little cupboard. The fan was excruciating loud! Even for the money we would never stay again.

+ Nothing dirty smelly very hard to access and no human interaction only over phone very bad even for a back packers hostel was like a dog kennel

- This was the dirtiest smelliest place we have ever booked to stay, we didn’t stay here because the place was so bad, the pictures they advertised on the internet were not how it looked or was, it stunk and was so dirty we opened the door walked in looked around and walked out and found another motel to stay in would never recommend this place to anybody ever, I am so dissatisfied, and the person just ignores you when contact them

- Horrible smell. Poorly maintained, this place should be a 2 star place in Kabul not in New Zealand

- Wir waren nur sehr kurz dort. Checkin mittels Schlusselbox hat ohne weiteres geklappt. Jedoch waren wir mit dem betreten des Zimmers negativ uberrascht. Die Tur war eine Schiebetuere einer Veranda wo das Schloss nicht funktioniert hat. Auf dem Boden waren von den Vorgangern noch Taschentucher. Die Dusche war dreckig und die Luftung des Bads extrem laut.

- Noise. Everywhere. No one to talk to.

- Our room stank toilet seat broken. Very rude staff - told us to disappear until check in time we were 2 hours early and exhausted due to cancelled flights. We had stayed previously for 2 nights and still not allowed early check in. Multiple rooms were ready and cleaned as we had left in the morning and saw this.

- Smelt bad stained cusions in communal areas woukd not refund my booking .

- The staff are unpleasant, arrogant, rude and unhelpful. stayed in the hostel for 8 nights. The washbasin in female bunk room was blocked when I first time stepped in the room . I reported to the receptionist, they didn’t make any effort to fixed it , instead she blaming on me for washing clothes in the basin , which is just ridiculous. The basin remained blocked until I checked out and checked in again , it has never been fixed at all , i can’t even blush my teeth there . When I reported the blockage of the washbasin to the receptionist , she simply replied me that she wasn’t a plumber. The washbasin remained blocked till I checked out and have never been fixed at all The receptionist and female housekeepers entered my room using their keys without knocking the door , which is rude and not acceptable The stairs to the upper bunk bed has no handles , it was hard to climb to the upper bunk bed , I even felt down when getting down from my bed It is advertised to have luggage storage facilities , however when I checked out , I was told that I wasn’t able to store my luggage even just a few hour before my flight and I wasn’t able to stay in hostel after checked out , I was forced to leave hostel after checked out , I have been staying backpackers and hotels and airbnb all over the world , never come across such rude receptionist Overall worst experience ever

+ Recht zentral, schönes und sauberes Zimmer

- Leider sehr laute Baustelle und Ampeln die man hört, Bäder nicht immer sauber und Personal so gut wie nicht vorhanden

+ Location, rooms, yard

+ Property was in central location and had a well equipped kitchen! Lovely communal indoor and outdoor areas. Beds had plugs and lights :)

- Bedding was rather thin and worn, could probably do with being refreshed.

- Non existant communication, (3 e-mails unanswered), and a New Public Management type backpackers. Garbage not emptied for 3 days, and threats of a fine if you dare to contact management.

+ Very close to city center and everything.

+ A modern and spacious accommodation. Kitchen is very nice and well equipped.

- The female staff are very unfriendly. Sharing a common room with them was always very uncomfortable and people were very loud late at night.

- Bathroom fan too noisy

+ Gute Lage in der Nähe von Supermärkten und Geschäften. Große Küche und Waschmaschinen vorhanden. Der Preis ist ok.

- Es ist sehr hellhörig und laut, weil die Leute nachts vor dem Hostel auf der Straße rumbrüllen. Das Zimmer war heruntergekommen (abgerissene Vorhänge, in die Jahre gekommene Möbel)

+ Great location and room was very quiet

- Room was a little small

+ The kitchen was ok and there was a living room and a big area to chill.

- We doesn’t felt comfortable. Everything was a little too old and the en-suite bad wasn’t nice.

+ Very basic and central in city

- Very noisy. Apples dropping, people open and close not so sliding doors. Super noisy shower extractor fan.

+ Staff and location were great. To was really helpful!

- For the price, there was little I didn’t like.
