Mini Homestay Khajuraho

OK stay - decent value for money. A bit of a walk from town centre, and hot water was often running out (and Decemeber is quite cold at night- cold shower is not what you have in mind..)

very wellcoming, friendly family, a very peaceful place also. delicious food, and everyone was very generous and helpful. a quite authentic experience of India, not to compare to the usual, anonymous stay in a hostel within a big city.

This place was great. I hung out with a couple other travelers in the evening, it was quiet except for the wedding (wedding season), they gave me a free tour of the main temple complex, they gave me a 20 minutes ride to the bus station for cheap, they helped with trip planning, they bought a train pass for me because I was having credit card issues, the food there was delicious, hot showers. Would definitely recommend.

It’s worth coming to Khajuraho just for the Mini Homestay! Thank you to Sajid, Mr Lallan and their family for being so welcoming, Sheeba for her tailoring skills, and Manish for giving us an amazing tour of the town. The room was comfortable, garden was really peaceful and every meal was delicious! We also had some problems with our train out of Khajuraho and they were very helpful sorting out a new plan. We hope to visit again!

I had a great time at mini homestay. It is a family run guesthouse with the best value for money bunk bed acomodation . The family made me feel very welcomed and had good food to eat done directly by them. The other guests were also a great addition. If you don’t mind walking, the main temples and the archaeological museum are only 15 min away.

Thanks to the family at Mini Homestay for opening their doors for us to provide a relaxing stay. The home cooking is great and Manish was very insightful on what to do in and around Khajaruho!

Great value for money. The room with the attached bathroom was basic but clean, and was everything I needed for a couple of nights here. A huge plus is the extremely helpful and friendly staff, who were always on hand with anything I needed.

Mini Homestay Khajuraho is a lively hostel just iutside tge city centee of Khajuraho, but still within walking distance of the main temple complex. The family owning the hostel is superfriendly and ready to help you with anything. The atmosphere is very chill while the hostel itself is beautifully decorated. This might just be the best ootion for you to stay in Khajuraho

Lalan uncle is a great man. He treated me as his own guest rather than a paying customer. He carried a big smile all the time and was very accommodative of any requests the guests made. The place is family run and well maintained. The lawn or the garden in the front is an added advantage where one can sit at night and gaze at the amazing sky and the stars visible, which is a rare feat in the cities nowadays.

The owner was really warm and friendly. It was about fifteen minutes walk from the temples. There was a nice garden to relax in with a farm next door. It was a peaceful stay. Thank you.

Ottimo posto in un ambiente famigliare meraviglioso! A 20 min dalla stazione e a meno di 10 min a piedi dai templi e lontano dal rumore notturno! La famiglia è meravigliosa, il cibo altrettanto .. ho sempre mangiato benissimo! Mi hanno fatto sentire come a casa. La figlia Sheeba crea meravigliosi vestiti con ottimi tessuti ed a prezzi veramente accessibili. Peccato a non aver avuto più posto nella mia borsa a spalle! Consiglio a tutti di andare.. ambiente pulito e ben curato!

If you’re lucky enough to be visiting Khajuraho, then I highly recommend this homestay. Sajid is a really good guy and was very informative and friendly when showing me around the temples and sorting out activities like visiting the national park. Laila Khan is not only a fantastic host but also a great cook. The beds are comfy and the shower and facilities worked without fault. I highly recommend this homestay.
