Small compact space, thin walls, tight quarters. Lights out policy at 10pm a bit early even for the small social kitchen area. Walkable to downtown 20 mins or so. 1 washroom per gender and 2 showers though 1 have to cross the outside. Has toiletries and towels items to rent if your forget. Clean no complaints if looking for place to rest your head. Has luggage storage till 10pm on check out day which was helpful. Close by to 7-11 and Lawson's. Has great food recommendations list to check out.

Great hostel with lovely staff and a good atmosphere

Meh! Not good, not bad. The kind of hostel you literally just want to sleep and leave. Only one shared shower for everyone.

We only stayed for one night and it was easy, clean, and safe. Very small and better suited for those on the move.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a hostel. I arrived at 10:40 (20 minutes before the time you can leave your luggage) and even though there were only 20 minutes left and I was sweaty and tired, they left me waiting outside in the sun until 11am. Then, I don't know if it's the owner, but this guy treats you really bad, he sleeps in the same room (mixed) and he started eating and making noise in the room at about 2am so I couldn't sleep. (The girl who attends you is veryy nice though)

There was great staff and environment, but no lockers were in the rooms. The showers had black mold in them and the rooms were relatively dirty with dried contact lenses on my bed, making me assume that my bed hadn't been cleaned before my arrival.

Nice place overall if you're on a budget. Staff was really nice, but too small for a real ambiance.It's also very noisy because the house is very old, but nothing a good pair of earplugs can't solve.The major drawback is that the hostel is remote from everything happening in Fukuoka... You're far from all the restaurant bar culture the city is famous for...(Also hygiene was dubious, I found used cottons over my bed bunk, lots of dust and they don't provide a sheet for the blanket...)

Super cozy, quiet and nice hostel, had a nice homey vibe in an older building. It is a bit out of tourist area, which makes it even nicer, just takes a bit of time to get to the main attractions.

The hostel is very close to Hakata bayside which is a very nice area and we boats connection to some very beautiful islands. I truly appreciated the kindness of the staff and the relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Very sweet, more traditional. You had to walk down the stairs for the bath and had to rent towels. It was clean and there was a little kitchen you could use. The public transportation is not that good in Fukuoka. But I walked everywhere and that was fine too. It is a little bit further away from the center, but still worth a stay.

Very friendly yet respectful atmosphere in the common room. The hostel is small and cozy, it makes it easy to talk with people when you want to. Not right near to train stations but close to the bus and still walkable to Hakata and Tenjin areas in around ~30 minutes. It was my second time staying there and I enjoyed it.

The ship is located basically in the old town of Fukuoka and is close to the city centre. You get one bed that closes with hinge so at the beginning I was a bit scared of my belongings but it was completely fine. Staff is very kind and I met some really nice people there as well!

Very nice experience staying here! I love atmosphere of Japanese home. Very small but cozy. While you sleep you will here people walking or doing something but it doesn’t bother me. I would go back to stay here again.

Really nice place and people. I even forgot some clothes there and they shipped it to my next location for me. Would stay again!

Top bunk is hot during summer f

I didn’t love it but has everything you needed for a short stay. Mattress and pillow are quite thin. Theres a very steep and narrow staircase to get up to the girls dorm on the 1st floor. Bathrooms are on the ground floor. It was further away from everything than I anticipated. Pics make the common area look large and inviting but it is tiny. Made check in a weird experience. Also couldn’t get a response about storing my bags early so had to sit outside with my luggage for 2hours and wait

Dit is een leuk klein hostel in een authentiek Japans huis. Ik vond dit erg leuk. De douche is goed met shampoo en bodylotion wash die aanwezig is. De staff is super aardig. De keuken is wat onoverzichtelijk en de ijskast wat klein. Mijn matras mag vervangen worden. En ik miste een lounge plek om lekker te zitten. Desalniettemin zou ik hier zo weer verblijven

A very nice and cozy Hostel in a more traditional small building with a very friendly staff (very kind regards at Natsumi ). They also have a small common room and a nice little bar.
