Fukuoka Guesthouse Little Asia Kokura

BAD. So bad when I checked in and saw the room I immediately asked for a refund but the staff woman already go my money two minutes prior and refused to refund me so I could go somewhere else. Along with just being grimey and run down, there’s a trillion signs on literally everything explaining what you can and can’t do. It’s used as some kind of live in flop house for local old sick people or something. Really creepy and gross. Oh and it’s on the 5th floor so lots of stairs or a sketchy...

Atmosphere was weird but still was cheap and clean, not very social at all

The building is old and some parts smelly it’s ok for one night the kitchen is close until 10 am but local ate using it why???

Decent hostel, bad welcoming from the staff, it is not in Fukuoka, so if you are coming from the ferry station in Fukuoka, you will have to travel about 1 more hour to get there

A good budget option for Kokura. Beds were quite uncomfortable, the futons they use are very thin so I slept on top of the comforter as well. Common area is closed from 10am-12pm every day for cleaning which is quite inconvenient for guests.

We didn't realize how far this was from Hakata, Fukuoka when we first booked it but otherwise it's greatly priced for a short stay. It was pretty loud during the night, and seems to be located in the entertainment district. Amenities and facilities were clean, beds were comfy for the night and staff was welcoming!

I was a good place to stay for a few days. I enjoyed it.

First impressions it’s a pretty dingy building, but I gave it a chance. The mattress was so this it was basically nothing, and it was decently clean got an old building with a dingy exterior. The biggest issue is the complete lack of security. Every door is unlocked 24/7; no key or card required. At least there’s a locker but that’s it. Barely felt safe.

Decent place but the mattress is very thin and not comfortable. Staff are nice and the location is good but not much social atmosphere. Wouldn’t go here for long term stay but short term it does a good job

Good location, staff is nice and the price is the best

대체적으로 괜잖습니다. 초행길 찾기도 easy, 한국인 직원도있고 가격에 비해 훌륭합니다.

I really liked this hostel based on the 4th and 5th floors of the building. Good for visiting the city of kitakyushu. Very welcoming staff and nice thick blankets are provided.

Sehr gemütlich, die Angestellten und auch die Dauergäste sind alle sehr herzlich. Definitiv weiter zu empfehlen

Perfect hostel !!!! They have everythong you need and it's super clean.
