Nice but quiet and strict on check in times

Nice place, accommodating staff. Some things need fixing (broken hooks in the bathroom, partly clogged shower drainage).
We love this hostel, you couldn’t ask for a better location or friendlier vibes. Facilities were great but I did find that the shower doors were tricky to lock. But overall great hostel
I had a good experience here! The location is good and the hostel felt like a home and it was nice to hang around in the hostel. The staff is helpful and kind and the kitchen is well equiped. When I was there, there weren’t that many people around so if you’re looking for a very social place, this might not be the best place…
good value for money, 3 min walk from where the walking tours meet. annoying before check-in to be let Inside as the staff are elsewhere. our dorm was weird and we basically had a private room which was good but couldn't lock the door noe was there a locker, but the bunk beds connected to our room did. okay hostel, not the most social, you might get a kinda private room tho if you're lucky

+ Hostel très bien placé dans le centre de Valparaiso. Rue très animée avec de nombreux bars et restaurants. Hostel très propre et le personnel est très sympathique + parle anglais.
- Seul bémol : légères odeurs dans notre chambre a cause de la fenêtre qui donne directement sur la rue.
Overall this place was great. The staff is really excellent and helpful. I messed up my booking and they were able to accomadate it. The atmosphere is also cool. The spiral staircase was fun. And facilities wise it had everything you need. It could have been a little cleaner but it didn’t feel dirty. As far as location goes for valpo, it is honestly ideal. Valpo just felt a wee bit unsafe and it is very noisey in the neighborhood. That said if I’m back in valpo, I’ll stay here!

Good place to stay. The staff is really friendly and the place is well equipped. It's very close to the touristy areas as well. However I didn't find it easy to socialise there, as it was quite calm.

+ Lo mejor es la ubicación del hostal, super recomendable si quieres ir a cerro Alegre y Concepción, así como los bares de Cumming. El tamaño de la habitación es cómodo y tiene acceso independiente cuando la recepción ya cierra.
- La habitación tenía un leve olor raro. Por la mañana era un poco ruidosa y entraba mucha luz (hace falta cortinas oscuras), lo que dificultaba el descanso. La cocina sus implementos no estaban muy limpios.

- el check in muy tarde entre 4 y 5 pm . a veces no hay personal. el lugar esta muy bien ubicado pero toda esa zona es compleja y solitaria de noche pero rel que se queda en Valparaíso ya lo debe saber y evaluar .
