Maybe not the best choice for solo female travellers. My only choice was to book a 10 bed mixed dorm, unfortunately it was only me and 9 older men. The dorm had a weird set up (bed in the middle of the room with tiny curtains), didn’t have any windows & was completely concrete.

Bad vibes one bathroom in hostel room but helpful staff and good to have a pool

They use some rooms for prostitution,, i dont reccomend ,,

The hotel bar and pool are really nice and the prices are reasonable. Just be aware that the pool is smaller than the pictures imply and we booked a double private room and this only had a window to the corridor (that you could block with a blind). So no window to outside in the room or bathroom making it quite dark.

La douche ne sentait pas bon Le confort n’était pas top mais ça dépanne pour une nuit L’emplacement est bien Mon lit n’était pas prêt à l’heure, j’ai dû attendre ~1h30 avant de pouvoir me poser..

Wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers as not social at all. Doom room was really nice and clean. Rooftop shuts at midnight so no outdoor chill area.

The most lovely staff ever. Rooms were super clean, and each bed was equipped with a good light, ample space to keep bedside things (both with and without a lock) and a curtain. Bathrooms didn’t have body wash/shampoo but that’s ok. Not the most social but honestly I really enjoyed the quietness.

Great room, nice and cool with air con and very secure. Sink was in the room which could be noisy and not private. Top bunk was a bit dangerous to climb in and out of but safe once you’re in. The pool area closes at midnight and you’re asked to leave which meant no outdoor space to sit.

Everytime I went to Phnom Penh I stayed at Pooltop. The staff is awesome, the rooms are clean. The beds in the dorms are roomy. The appliances work well. I would recommend this place to everyone traveling.

Fantastic place, the staff have all been amazing. service always with a smile. 10 out of 10 location, cleanliness etc….!

I stayed 2 nights here, the first morning I woke up with bites on my elbow and I asked for the staff to move beds. They said they don’t have any bed bugs and it must have been something outside. I decided sure whatever, I wake up the next morning at 1am to a random notification on my phone, and a little s*** crawls across my pillow. Yeah there were bed bugs

A very quiet hostel that is a bit north of the main social suburbs. But it is very clean and has a lovely pool, bar and restaurant

Not a social hostel, saw almost no one. Nice pool on top and good food!

The staff are great, the facilities are very nice. The location is average, the reason for the low review is during our first night we located 5 cockroaches in our private room. If it wasn't for the cockroaches it would have been a 9/10.

This place was perfect to relax and reset. The food is pretty good. The dorms are very comfortable and have everything you need. It’s quite clean. Would stay here again!

You get what you pay for. So dont expect a glamorous room for that amount of money. But I really cant complain about anything. Staff was friendly, the room alright, the food was good. I really enjoyed it, but if you want a proper backpacker atmosphere, maybe its the wrong choice.

Best place to stay in Phnom Penh

Underrated, nice pool and rooms and friendly bar staff. Enjoyed the cocktails during happy hour and staff helped me with transport to Siem Reap

A++++ Perfect location. Front beach with pooltop hostel view, dorms, toilet and shower very clean also hallway very clean. Security locker free provide. Staff very friendly and always put us first and make sure we are very happy. Easy walking and reach with any museums, restaurants and bars. All prices very bargain.

Really nice hotel with a gorgeous rooftop pool and bar. The food in the hostel was really good and the hostel itself was in a good location to get to places. They also provide bus tickets to various places and tickets for various activities to do in Phnom Penh!

I loved the pool on the rooftop! The hostel is right on the river and not too far from things which is good. Not very social but is quiet and clean

Nice hostel, with helpful staff and clean bathrooms. Street is a bit meh, reception area could do with some atmosphere
