+ Price
- Someone who works here told me that this hostel socks. When the employees or volunteers said something like that... Someone change my bed and took my belongings without my consent, that's really a bad thing.
+ Worst hostel ever, unbelievably dirty and neglected. The outside looks like the place is abandoned, the 'yoga and gym' area are filthy, all mats are ripped and filthy. There are 'volunteers' working at reception, that are unhelpful and don't care about people staying there. There were others checking in whilst I was there that had to wait a very long time for assistance. Did not see a cleaner the whole time I stayed there, we had to request for the receptionist to change our bin at 4pm as no one had been. The breakfast is cold, highly recommend not staying here, it's not a nice place to be - have emailed Planet B a few days ago but they are yet to bother responding.

- Primero nos cobraron un impuesto extra que no estaba descrito en booking. La habitación (n°10) que nos asignaron era un galpón fuera del hostal y estaba repleta de gusanos y telas de araña, al informar esto a la recepción, nos dicen que era parte de Costa Rica. La habitación era mixta y la chapa del baño estaba mala y el baño no contaba con luz, lo que dificulta bañarse y esquivar a los gusanos. No hay agua caliente en ningún momento. Jamás realizaron aseo a la habitación. El desayuno era poca cantidad (no permiten que tu se sirvas), sin embargó,solicitaban lavar tu propia loza. Te piden dejar 10 dólares por cada llave como garantía, lo que tampoco estaba especificado en booking. La atención del personal no es la más amable. Las toallas que entregan olían a humedad, lo que corrobora la falta de higiene del hostel.
+ La cama era comoda
- Al llegar al hostal, NADIE HABLABA ESPAÑOL, nuestro aire acondicionado se había echado a perder (habían 35 grados, no se aguantaba el calor dentro de la habitación), le avisamos a la recepcionista y dijo que llamaría al técnico. Salimos a almorzar y cuando volvimos (18:00 pm) aún no lo habían arreglado. Tuvimos que esperar en recepción, sin poder bañarnos ni ordenar nuestras cosas ni descansar. A las 19:30 llego el dueño, nisiquiera un técnico, porque la recepcionista no podía tomar decisiones si no estaba el administrador. Él dijo que efectivamente el aire acondicionado estaba malo, por lo que pedimos la cancelación de la reserva para irnos a otro lugar. Él dijo que si nos íbamos, tendríamos que pagarle todo, nisiquiera fue capaz de llegar a un acuerdo (nosotras le ofrecíamos pagar una noche y que las otras 2 queden sin cobro). Él nos ofrecía cambiarnos a una habitación de 8 personas, y nosotras habíamos arrendado una de 4 camas para mayor privacidad. No fue capaz de ceder, por lo que tuvimos que pasar una noche en esa habitación sin aire acondicionado, con un simple ventilador que la recepcionista nos prestó. El hostal es mantenido por voluntarios, por lo tanto ellos no pueden tomar decisiones. Falta limpieza, el desayuno nunca esta listo a la hora (supuestamente 6:30 am, pero lo sirven a las 7:00 am), no es variado (3 días sirvieron lo mismo: un trozo de sandia, uno de piña, dos panqueques y una porción de huevo, sin derecho a repetición). NO LO RECOMIENDO

- Staff: At first they asked for $60 more at check-in than what was advertised when booking, but that could be clarified after a 30-minute check-in process... In addition, the staff is completely untrained and consists only of volunteers from the accommodation (you can't blame them, but the management saves money where it can and the guests and the "staff" suffer as a result). They forgot to pay us the deposit for the key. Privacy: I was in the bathroom once and then an employee tore open the curtain on the hinged window from outside and asked me something... Cleanliness: The room and bathroom were never cleaned during our stay and the bathroom garbage was overflowing and was only emptied when asked. Breakfast: (No free Coffee at all) 1st morning, the portion of pancakes was far too small and didn't even fill a small child... When asked if you could get more, "no more ingredients". 2nd morning, pancakes... The portions were larger but the pancakes weren't cooked through.. 3rd morning, pancakes again... This time there was actually nothing to complain about... Location: You really have to do everything by bus... In addition to restaurants, there are some within walking distance but the nearest supermarket is 2 km away... Conclusion: I am extremely disappointed... I would have expected more for the price... I had much cheaper and better hostels in Costa Rica even hotels were cheaper and better... PS the “gym” consists of a dumbbell bar and a few weights Personal: Zu erst hat man beim Check in 60$ mehr verlangt als bei der Buchung ausgeschrieben, das könnte sich aber nach einem 30 minütigen Check in Vorgang noch klären... Zudem ist das Personal völlig ungeschult und besteht nur aus freiwilligen helfern aus der Unterkunft (Ihnen kann man dabei keinen Vorwurf machen aber das Management spart wo es geht und darunter leiden die Gäste und das "Personal").
+ Del Hostel solo me gustó la atención del personal.te ayudan en todo y con una sonrisa . Tienen desayuno gratis bastante básico .
- Pues todo lo demás … y lo peor es la limpieza . Sea alojamiento q sea .. barato o caro , la LIMPIEZA tiene q ser lo primordial. Había suciedad en todas partes : las neveras llenas de agua putrefacta y nadie lo limpia , ni hablo ya del olor . las habitaciones llenas de telarañas y polvo , huele mucho a humedad y moho., el baño mas de lo mismo . Insalubridad total .tampoco contestan los mensajes vía booking , diciendo q están muy ocupados … en fin yo los vi aburridos y deseándose ir a casa . Son voluntarios supongo q por lo q les pagan hacen lo justo y necesario .
worst hostel i have ever been. the rooms are very dirty. doors to the dorm cannot be closed or you will be locked out.. no atmosphere and the woman was not nice at all if you dont speak spanish. also they let people write good reviews in exchange for free laundry
DON'T STAY HERE! They offer free laundry for 5-star reviews so don't be fooled. We saw a review after arriving that a strange man lurks around at night trying to enter rooms, they knew about this and claimed in a reply to have hired security but haven't. When we mentioned it they didn't care—we heard them laugh about it. The electric shower sparked, AC broke, and the manager never showed to fix it. Our room was nothing like the photos—it was an old garage that smelled and had cockroaches.
Often loses water pressure, leaving everybody without showers, toilets, or any of the basic amenities required for a comfortable stay. Rooms are basic, with small spiders and millipedes making themselves at home - shake your clothes out.
Als wir am Hostel ankamen, mussten wir 20 Minuten warten, bis überhaupt jemand an der Rezeption aufgetaucht ist. Beim Betreten des Schlafsaals kam ein der ekelhafteste Gestank nach Schimmel und Feuchtigkeit entgegen, man konnte kaum atmen. Die Tür des Badezimmers war kaputt und man konnte sie nur schwer schließen. Statt 2 Nächten wollten wir dann nur 1 bleiben, das sei kein Problem, wir mussten dann aber trotzdem beide Nächte und noch mehr Geld bezahlen. Küche ekelhaft, kein Luggage Room
When we arrived at the Hostel, we had to wait 20 minutes until someone had even shown up at the Reception. When we entered the Bedroom, we encountered one of the most disgusting Smells of Mould and Humidity, you could barely breathe. The Door of the Bathroom was broken and you could hardly close it. Instead of 2 nights we wanted to stay only 1 night, that's no Problem, but we still had to pay both nights and even more money. Kitchen is disgusting, no Luggage Room

This hostel was nice and fun! Some places didn’t smell great and the shower and sink would flood every time we used them. However the staff and atmosphere was great, the AC was heavenly. Isabel was a great staff member and befriended us so quickly!
They have a free laundry service and good, large breakfast included which was very nice. I slept in the 8 bed dorm which was really basic. It used to be a garage i suppose. Bed waswas comfy, but no socket to charge near the bed. The bathroom was open at the top, so you could here everything in the room. The lighting in the room was extremely bright. I guess it's a nice hostel, for the 8 bed dorm you just really overpay for the room you get.
Super hostel. Le petit déj est bon (pancake oeufs fruits). Service de blancherie pour le linge gratuit ! Hyper pratique. Le bus Quepos Manuel Antonio passe à côté. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Bonne clim. Douches chaudes. Les espaces communs sont larges, de quoi faire du sport ou se poser à table ou dans un hamac. Je recommande.
Super hostel. The breakfast is good (pancake eggs fruit). Laundry service for free laundry ! Hyper convenient. The Quepos Manuel Antonio bus passes by. The rooms are spacious and clean. Good climate. Hot showers. The common areas are large, enough to do sports or lie down at the table or in a hammock. I recommend.
+ Zonas comunes estupendas, con cocina comunitaria. Desayuno incluido muy rico con fruta fresquita, huevos y creps. Camas muy cómodas

+ We liked the A/C and having a bathroom in the dorm. Laundry service was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Friendly place, close to the bus. We liked it and thought it was good value.
- The dorm door locked every time I left so I had to carry a key. Although it did feel very safe.

Das Hostel war super . Vorallem das Personal ( Maurice , Jasmin und Jakob )waren sooo toll und hatten immer gute Tipps. Kostenlos Laundry hat unseren Trip gerettet und die Pancakes zum frühstück unseren Magen⭐️
The hostel was great. especially the staff (Maurice, Jasmin and Jakob) were sooo awesome and always had great tips. Kostenlos Laundry saved our Trip and the Pancakes for breakfast to our stomach⭐️
+ La struttura, le camere (ero in un dormitorio femminile da 4, la pulizia, l'accoglienza, la disponibilità del personale, gli spazi comuni, la colazione, il servizio di lavanderia gratuito, la fermata del bus a due passi
- Era tutto perfetto
+ Petit déjeuné servi le matin, literie confortable avec climatisation dans les chambres et propreté des chambres et salles de bains.
- Les équipements sont abîmés, hamac déchirés, coin salle de sport et yoga possède vraiment peu de matériel et en mauvais état. Pas vraiment de zones pour se reposer en dehors des chambres et le jardin n’est pas du tout entretenu. Sur une note plus personnelle je n ai pas aimé l’emplacement car même si le bus passe fréquemment, c est quasi impossible de sortir à pieds car route trop dangereuse dons je me sentais légèrement limitée dans mes déplacements.

+ Fuimos a la habitación femenina de 4 con aire acondicionado y baño privado. Es lo que más rescato del Hostel. El desayuno bastante bien.
- No es un Hostel lindo, tiene todas las paredes pintadas de colores, con frases por todos lados y luz blanca, no dan ganas de estar en los espacios comunes. Puede ser una cuestión de gustos, las paredes están en buen estado. La ubicación está bien si estás en auto, si no tenes que usar bus para todo lo que quieras hacer, no es cerca de la playa ni del parque
