Piramys Hostel and Tours

Leider ist das Hostel sehr dreckig und herunter gekommen. Was schade ist, da die Lage direkt am Strand super ist. In meinem Zimmer (6 Bett mit Bad)wurde das Badezimmer schon lange nicht mehr geputzt und es gab keine Seife. Das komplette Zimmer war voller Blütenstaub und sonstigem Dreck und die Betten extrem durchgelegen. Die Küche ist katastrophal, daher empfehle ich die Küche vom Hotel nebenan zu nutzen. Um Leute kennenzulernen ist das nicht der richtige Ort und den vibe muss man mögen.

Este lugar no debería estar habilitado como hostel. Me robaron toda la plata que tenia para viajar, fue alguien que vivía ahí mismo y nadie se hizo cargo. Es un ambiente turbio. Hicimos la denuncia y la policía nos dijo que siempre tienen problemas con el lugar.Vive un italiano y un chico que nos dieron mala espina. Entre ellos se culpaban DEL ROBO. Insalubre, nunca limpian los baños, ni nada, muchas chinches en los colchones, nunca hay nadie que te atienda, esta todo abierto todo el tiempo...

The owner gave us a different room since a tree fell on the hostel. The owner of the private room we then received did not give us the possibility to cancel the second night, even though there was not even drinking water available due to a storm. Further problems: -Facilities and floors were very dirty -Mattress was moldy -Kitchen was poorly equipped with no cutlery or plates -First floor felt unstable and the structure of the building was very poor. Parts of the roof were already missing.

Es el peor hostal en el que he estado en mi vida, realmente desagradable

Pésimo hostal, lo único bueno era la ubicación y la amabilidad de la persona que atendía. Súper sucio, mi cama tenía hasta telarañas, de la ducha salía casi nada de agua, las habitaciones dan casi al aire libre por lo que de noche se llena de mosquitos. Tuve las peores picaduras de mi vida y en todo el cuerpo yo con una amiga, no pude ni dormir!

Do not stay here. We learned the lesson the hard way. Not clean, no ‘real’ staff just the owner and people that live there, fans are insufficient and non functional. Friendly enough owner but he didn’t even know we had a reservation and didn’t know what Hostelworld was.

Schlimmstes Hostel, indem ich je war. Kakerlaken überall und ich glaube es gab auch Bettwanzen auf den Matratzen in den Zimmern und im Gemeinschaftsbereich. Küche auch dreckig. Inhaber komischer Typ, der einem die ganze Zeit komische Komplimente macht. Habe mitbekommen, wie Leuten Dinge geklaut wurden. Wenn du nach Dominical kommst, mach um dieses Hostel einen großen Bogen!

Das Hostel ist absolut zu vermeiden. Das einzige positive sind die entspannten Leute die das Hostel anzieht. Ansonsten lässt die hygiene an jeder Ecke zu wünschen übrig und man hat Sorge sich gewisse Krankheiten zuzuziehen. Zusätzlich wurde geklaut und man hat sich insgesamt nicht sehr wohl gefühlt.

there is only one toilet and one shower for all women in the hostel (which all weren't very well maintained or kept clean) in total very simple and dirty, one day I saw the iguana who lives on the roof piss on all the kitchen equipment and cooking area... didn't cook after that anymore the owner seems overwhelmed by the challenge of managing a hostel

Heruntergekommenes Hostel. Das Einzelzimmer mit eigenem Bad hat muffig gerochen. Es gab kein Fenster um zu Lüften. Habe die Nacht daher lieber im Gemeinschaftsbereich in der Hängematte geschlafen. Im Zimmer schlechte Internetverbindung. Habe mich so unwohl gefühlt, dass ich mir für die nächste Nacht, trotz der guten Lage und sehr netten Mitarbeiter eine andere Unterkunft suche. Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Daher ncht zu empfehlen!

Location is great and by the beach and there is a decent kitchen to use but that's about where the positives stop. The bedding was dirty and the room full of insects, which is not surprising as it was completely open to the outside. A mosquito net was provided over the bed, but this was full of holes and not properly fitted so the interior was already filled with flies and spiders. The shared bathroom has no door and is only separated from the room by a thin curtain. Wouldn't stay here again.

Cet établissement n’est pas pour tout le monde. Il faut aimer vivre simplement. Moi j’ai adoré la chambre avec des murs à mi-hauteur.

If you just want to surf and don't care than this is the place. Otherwise it can use lots of updating. Pura Vida

Ich habe drei Nächte in dem Hostel geschlafen und eine tolle Zeit gehabt. Die Atmosphäre dort ist super, und die Gemeinschaftsküche mit Chillbereich ist sehr gemütlich. Besonders gut haben mir die Bilder überall gefallen, und der Strand ist direkt in der Nähe. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

If you looking for a chaotic but fun and chill hostel. This is your place. The terrace is huge and the beach is really close

It was really dirty. The net on the bed had weird dust right over my head. The bedsheets seemed dirty, they had some weird things on them. I had to force myself not to overthink in order to be able to sleep there. The toilets and showers seemed very rudimentary and there was a really dirty lamp in front of our room that looked full of all kinds of living beings, like it had its own biodiversity… I’m sorry for rating it badly, but I didn’t feel very secured and comfortable sleeping there.

It is a very interesting vibe there. Although everything could be cleaner, better organized and better explained. Sadly I didn’t get a good introduction to the place. But all in all a good choice to be right next to the sea.

The hostel had a friendly staff and a great beachside location, but we left after two nights due to poor cleanliness. Our room and bathroom were not cleaned, resulting in dust, sand, and dead bugs accumulating. We also encountered cockroaches, and the kitchen had neglected supplies with mouse droppings. Despite its potential, the lack of maintenance made the facilities uncomfortable, prompting us to switch hostels early.

A nice space and a nice owner. But many cockroaches that he didn’t really do anything about, and there are no walls. Which is okay if you want to feel like you’re outside but it was very easy for bugs to come inside. Also was very empty when I was there

Maximo is an absolutely amazing host and made me feel very welcome, I highly recommend Piramys if you want the most Pura vida vibes in town!

I had a great time here. Really enjoyed the company of the owners they were so sweet, and I was able to paint as well! Beautiful and laid back location, right on the beach.

Propreté de la cuisine et de la chambre qui reste à désirer, odeur nauséabonde des draps, lits très peu confortables et matelas en TRÈS mauvais état, douche et toilettes désagréables. Nous avons passé 2 nuits horribles ! Nous déconseillons absolument, énorme déception !

Eine authentische Unterkunft direkt am Surf-Strand mit sehr herzlichem und hilfsbereitem Inhaber. Die Kunstwerke an den Wänden schaffen eine sehr hübsche Atmosphäre! Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir waren in der Regenzeit dort, dadurch war das Hostel sehr leer, was einerseits den Vorteil hatte das wir das Zimmer alleine hatten aber es war eben auch etwas leer. Der Besitzer Massimo ist richtig nett und kann euch viel erzählen. In dem ganzen Hostel ist viel tolle Kunst was ein tolles ambiente schafft. Es ist nicht mehr das neuste Hostel, vielleicht mal ein paar neue Matratzen und alles wär super. :)

Amazing stay Maximo was the best very friendly and made it fell like home

Very rustic authentic hostel, definitely not luxury but that's it's charm. Right by the beach, and run by a very friendly, helpful and lovely guy.
