Elia Boutique Hostel & Apart-Hotel

I stayed 4 nights in Jan, No staff only the owner who should be doing everything. No changing bed sheets, stayed 4 nights with the same sheets, no cleaning for hostel. What pissed me the most is that the hostel was freezing, the main heaters are off and small ones are working and not all the time as it should be. It was freezing and snowing outside and imagine having a shower in a freezing shower. I wouldn't recommend the place.

this hostel is totally overvalued. be full of strange things. it is located at hill side. but no views at all, and far away from city center. nothings to see near by except trinity church. decorations inside is very complicated. so it may make you dizzy. you can't sleep enough cause staff would see tv programme till midnight with loud noise. if you make reservation, it would not be kept properly, cause it can be changed anytime without notice before. mixed dormitory means female one here

It looked quite authentic and beautiful in the photos. I thought the common areas would be social and convenient. Common areas can be less so. It's a fairly large hostel with many rooms. If your room doesn't match the photos or doesn't have windows, there are brighter, cleaner rooms in the back. Because it's so large and carpeted, it feels cozy, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to dust. There's also a heating issue.

The hostel has interesting decor, but unfortunately there is a very strong smell of cat pee in all public areas. There are un-neutered male cats roaming the place and I saw them peeing on plants. For me, the smell made it unpleasant to hang out there (I'd booked it because it looked like a cool place to relax + work). I left after one night due to the smell. It was also more expensive than other options, yet doesn't include towels and is far from downtown. Nice hosts and comfy bunks though.

The interior of the hostel is really amazing. Its a bit far from the city centre or the old town (at least 20min by foot). The area itself can be described as the real old tbilisi without tourists.One thing I didnt like: The dorm rooms are connected so essentially you have like a 20 person dorm room since there is no door. Idk how social it is since I only stayed one night but I think its what you make of it. Bathrooms are ok

Beautiful hostel but not very well located at the top of a hill and dark neighborhood. Eliana the host can be rude, asking disturbing questions

A nice place to stay at, honestly not even too far from the center, it's easy to get to by walking and you get to see the Trinity Church at the same time! Elia is very kind and helped me figuring out how to get to my next destination. There's cats everywhere so make sure you like them if you plan to stay here.

Incredible hostel! It's beautiful and there is atmospheric music going gently in the downstairs area. I went in the winter season so was fairly quiet and can't speak to the summer bustle but it was just the nicest stay. Staff are excellent and very accommodating and kind. Highly recommend.

honestly, i have trouble writing a review about this place. Ive had some weird experiences here. although Eliana is quite friendly, theres some weird people around. When i was there, a boy and girl were kissing in a common area. one of the staff members(who seemed drunk) didnt like that but didnt know any English. so he said 'No porno' to them. when he came back they were still kissing, so the staff grabbed, shoved and kicked the boy. Aside from this incident, there seem to be antisocial people

Good hostel, clean and near the city Centre.

Stayed for one night, but not for the first time and I highly recommend it. The bed is comfortable, the sheets are fresh, and I slept really well. That's always my main concern when I travel alone. And the place is spotless! The host is wonderful — helpful, attentive, always ready to answer any question. Quiet neighbourhood, not far from the centre, plenty of places to eat nearby, and the cathedral is just around the corner. Felt calm and safe the whole time. Highly recommend!

This is by far the most charming and cleanest hostel I've been to. Location is a walking distance from the main sites but still quiet and tucked away. Showers and toilets are always clean. The beds, I don't know what it is but they are the comfiest beds ever.

This hostel was amazing, I highly recommend staying here. I felt really welcomed by Elia here. She explained everything there is to do here very clearly. The hostel itself also has a very nice vibe. I met a lot of nice people here. There are also a lot of cats, so that's a plus too.

Een prachtig ingericht hostel met goede stapelbedden voorzien van een leeslampje, stopcontacten en een gordijntje. Ik heb de sfeer een 10 gegeven omdat alle faciliteiten om contact te leggen aanwezig zijn (zoals een gemeenschappelijke ruimte, activiteiten en een keuken), maar ik heb het niet echt kunnen testen omdat ik een van de weinige gasten was.

This hostel is a real gem! It's made with such attention and care, you feel at home right away. The facilities are really good. There are enough toilets and showers, the kitchen is well equipped. The beds have good curtains that give a lot of privacy. But most of all; the place has a really good atmosphere and the owner really cares about her guests.

Ich hatte einen sehr guten Aufenthalt in diesem Hostel in Tiflis und würde definitiv wiederkommen. Die Lage ist top – viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und die Altstadt sind schnell erreichbar. Das Personal war durchgehend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man bekommt gute Tipps und fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Das macht den Aufenthalt deutlich angenehmer. Die Zimmer und Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren sauber und gemütlich. Es ist kein Luxus, aber genau das, was man als Reisender braucht.

Cozy and friendly, felt truly at home at this beautiful property. Elia is amazing, and extremely hospitable. Great place for solo travelers, extremely fun nights at the kitchen talking eith people from all pver the world.

Feels like home. Booked 3 days, stayed 2 months. Cozy atmosphere, very clean and well maintained. The owner (“mother”) creates a warm, welcoming vibe. Staff are caring, share local advice, and even invite guests to meals to experience the culture. Great service: laundry, extra blankets, and quality local tea. Perfect place for authentic hospitality and comfort.

okay so i booked this place for like 3-4 days max. ended up staying 20+ days. that should tell you something right there. elia is just... different? like she actually cares about hospitality in a way that feels real, not performative. she's genuinely invested in making sure you feel good, and it shows in everything—from how she sets up the space to how she checks in on you without being intrusive. the cat situation 😸 full transparency: i was NOT a cat person before this. like at all. but ...

This was one of the best hostels that I have ever stayed. The host was very friendly and very understanding. Such a beautiful place. You can literally see the work she has put into the place. It's very near from most tourist places in Tbilisi.

The hostel was great! It was so cosy and Elia is truly wonderful. I had a great time there, it’s like staying in a living room:)
