Lack of washrooms there

Ich hab mir dort Bettwanzenstiche geholt!! Und leider auch im Gepäck!!!

I would give it a much higher grade if it had AC of more than one fan per room. I couldn't sleep the whole night because of the heat. the stuff was great and everything else was fine but the heat was unbearable. If you're someone that doesn't get hot at night this is a great hostel, but for me it was unbearable and I was really happy to leave after one night.

We stayed in the private room and for what it was price included, it was okay. But being located in the downstairs area, there wasn't a lot of airflow. This was prevalent by the foul odour that was throughout the area and the black mould in the bathroom which is in dire need of renovation. The caretaker would clean the floors daily, this was made aware to us as he would ring out the cloth in the bucket right next to our bedroom door at 9am every morning. This was very unusual.

The rooms are good, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the balcony is very nice for eating outside. However, the bathrooms look like they have not been properly cleaned for a long time and there is an unpleasant smell. The mattresses are also hard and bumpy. No social atmosphere and anyone could walk in and out of the hostel. The hostel has so much more potential.

Tanja the owner (I guess) is very nice and welcoming. The hostel is cheap and I could see why: there was no aircon or fans in the room that could reach the upper bunk bed. It was so hot and stuffy in the room that I couldn't sleep or breathe properly, plus there was the noisy backstreet. I have never received a key to the door of the room nor the main entrance. Everything was always open to anyone who wanted to enter the building. It was okay clean.

Generally an alright place, I guess. A couple of nice places to sit with a cup of tea and a good book in the common areas. But the room was tiny compared to the amount of beds, and I've never slept on such terrible mattresses!

Really nice atmosphere and people, location is not the greatest and its big uphill to get here😂 Dorms are really nice and neat but the common areas and especially bathrooms could use some work:) Overall eould recommend

Thank you (shoutout to Luke) for my stay. Very social vibe with backpackers, clean place, good location you’re maybe 10 minute walk from most things around! Common areas are clean. Felt very safe as a solo female. Would recommend to anyone coming to Tblisi! This place has a unique social vibe I don’t find in many places, it feels like everyone are already friends and it makes it very welcoming to new solo people, please stay here!

This is one of my favorite hostels ever! The vibes are social but not overwhelming, lovely staff (Luke is amazing), and there aren't too many people so it's not overrun. Great location and price too!

Had my best time in Tblisi since the second I stepped in. The vibe is so inclusive and free at the same time. Big up to the staff for their amazing job and care in making the experience so smooth. 10/10 :))

Had a great time in Friends hostel, they really make you feel like part of the family there. Rooms were neat and clean, the location was solid and the vibe they created is truly something special. l will definitely recommend it to any friend travelling to Tbilisi!

This is the best hostel I have stayed in for as long as I can remember! Super clean, social for solo travellers, beautiful balcony for tipsy naps in the sun. I would trust Luke to manage my entire life. I stayed in the private room and it felt like I was staying in the Ritz.

Cosy place, comfy beds, class staff and the balcony is a mega spot to chill/meet people. Luke is the bollocks he cant do enough to help people. Love from the Balcony Bois

Super auberge dans une vielle rue de Tbilissi, très propre, très agréable avec des chambres un peu petites mais bien aménagées et des activités organisées par les volontaires. Je recommande vivement (en comparaison d’autres auberges a Tbilissi).

Hot and helpful staff who will see you home safely from the pub crawl. Comfortable beds and very clean. A husband with the voice of an angel if your passport is suitable. Without question, the best hostel in Tbilisi.

Many reviews mention the beautiful Russian man but unjustly fail to mention his internal beauty. In fact, the internal beauty of all staff here shines like the lights at Mimosa. I’ll never forget Luke staying at his friend’s place so I could have a bed, or telling me that I’m not annoying him when I clearly was so that I would leave this very 10 star review ✨service with heart ✨ Also have to shoutout the hostel volunteer: either making the place spotless… or horizontally supervising ...

Lovely people, comfy beds, hot showers, social crowd, and let you store your luggage for several days. Definitely the place to stay in Tbilisi!

I had a great during my stay. Great location. The hostel has a very homely feel which is very comfortable. The staff made sure check-in was seamless despite me arriving at 1am. The hostel is consistently clean, welcoming and social. Shoutout to Luke especially for putting effort into making the environment inclusive and for great recommendations - your dedication to ensuring guests enjoy their time at Friend's Hostel and Tbilisi is greatly appreciated.

Honestly the best hostel I’ve stayed. The owner, the managers, the people who work there, everyone made me feel at home and safe, as a solo traveler I felt like I could rely on them at any time. Beside that the common area is beautiful and cozy. The kitchen is more equipped than my own. They clean all the time. The beds are extremely comfortable and they’re always working on new improvements to make the hostel even more comfortable! I miss you all, thank you for everything, Yas❤️

friends w benefits hostels 100th review. a great place during the day, sadly we havent been there at night. you can comfortably sleep on the living room carpet or on the balcony. theres a special guy doing backflips and giving foot massages (dont let him crack your toes tho). if you have any unfulfilled needs you can ask the manager for any extra service. only bad thing is that the hostel group chat is pretty hard to get in, even harder than the guys dancing with you in mimosa/left bank (add us)

Namaste, At the outset, Friends hostel is definitely recommended. Vibe of the hostel is really amazing & I am sure cool conversations awaits either in Balcony or common space. Location is really great and make sure to visit CLOUD 9 Cafe for scintillating view and dance. Worth mentioning, staff is absolutely cool, praises for Alex, Luke, Rustam & Stash!!
