Dirty place, full of insects. I had bed bugs in my bed, aldow I had net in place and was covered something bitten me all the night. It is 1h of a jeep ride from the town and the cost of it is 80000cop. They do not allow you to prepare your food or have your alcohol derfore it's not a Hostel but a Hotel. Was disappointed with the lack of customer service at the reception. I was also underwhelmed by our room. The pool was the highlight.

Its a beautiful place, I even extended for a night but started having stomach problems on day 3 which have not gone away yet after 1-2 days. two other people we're also not feeling well, might be a coincidence but thought I'd mention it in case other people experience the same. Have only eaten at the hostel and drank the water from the "drinking water"-tap

I loved this hostel. The view is amazing and the pool area wow. Was able to relax fully. The food is really good but expensive. The dorms were very expensive for what it is and dirty. They allowed a baby in the dorms and it cried all nights. There’s good showers. And the rest of areas are kept clean. Good atmosphere between calm and social

Pros: You come to Mundo Nuevo for the gorgeous views! I loved watching the unforgettable bird life, flora and sunsets. Plus there’s an array of friendly cats and dogs. Easy to meet other backpackers thanks to the family meals. A 20-min walk from the organic coffee/chocolate plantation (definitely book a tour)! Cons: The 4-bed dorm is overpriced and too small for 4 people; it’s poorly ventilated and stuffy. I also got unwell from a meal as did another person. (All meals are made there).

I stayed here because of the reviews but didn’t have the best experience. The hostel itself is in a stunning location but is let down by the rude staff that seemed more interested in chatting to each other that actually helping their guests. The water coming out of the shower and bathroom taps was ever nonexistent or brown, when I approached the staff about this they just laughed in my face. They also fall down by advertising activities that they don’t actually run.

La vue est le point fort de cet hôtel ! Perché dans la montagne, on a une vue magnifiquement dégagée. Mais cette vue fait que l’hôtel est éloigné de tout et que le village (ou autre) n’est plus accessible lorsque le soleil est couché. I had an amazing time at the Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge. I recommend for travelers who don’t mind spending a bit more on food or transport (20000 colombian pesos for one way motobike from town) The hostel was clean, quiet, and beautiful. The food was pricey, but delicious, high quality, and large portions. Great for solo travelers wanting to meet other travelers! It is not a party hostel - It becomes very quiet after dinner. If you want a relaxing, getaway this is a perfect choice!

Super endroit mais à l’écart de la ville, pas de possibilité de cuisiner seulement prendre des repas sur place et donc les payer. Mais le cadre, la vue pour le lever et coucher du soleil et la piscine à déversement est magnifique.

Beautiful Eco Lodge with amazing swimming pool and terrace. Good hikes nearby, just get the moto taxi back up from Minca town (and I wouldn’t want to do that journey in the dark). Dinner was tasty but would be better if you had to opt out for dinner, rather than opt in.

Hands down the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been to. Beautiful staff, incredible view and surrounds, a place to truly connect with others and tune in to nature. Great food, clean rooms, overall incredible experience.

The most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed in. So calm and tranquil, but it still has a great sense of community with the meal times being at the same time every day. The staff were also so kind and there is a Cacao Farm in walking distance of the hostel.

Honestly the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff are so friendly, the activities are incredible, the wildlife is amazing and the pool area is stunning. I wish I could have extended my trip. Great for solo travellers too - very sociable, which I didn’t expect!

This place is litteraly out of this world. I mean... you have to try it to understand. I had the best time ever there to disconnect from everything. Special mention to Alex at the reception that did his best to make our stay unforgetable, thank you !!!

Actually heaven on earth

If youre flicking through hostels in Minca choosing which one, you can stop now. The hostel itself is great but its location is what makes it special. The hikes nearby are better than any of the others in Minca. Really good facilities, nice and clean, super friendly staff, good rates, insane sunset view. Particularly recommend Cascada Escondida and the Cacao/Coffee place nearby

Most beautiful hostel i’ve ever been to. Amazing view and a beautiful sunset every night. In the reviews before i read they only served vegetarian food but now they offered a choice meat or vegetarian which was a great surprise because after hiking a lot, I could use some meat. Special shoutout to Alex, great guy.

Es war eines der schönsten Hostels, in denen ich war! Es ist die reinste Ruheoase. Es ist mitten in der Natur, etwas weiter weg von Minca. Es lohnt sich aber echt. Das Personal ist so aufmerksam und lieb und das Essen war richtig gut. Vom Hostel aus kann man alle Touren und Wanderungen machen. Ich habe richtig gut geschlafen, denn es ist sehr ruhig, dunkel und die Betten waren sehr bequem.

Everything about this place is perfect. When I arrived, I honestly thought I died and entered heaven until someone started talking to me. This is a must-see when visiting north Colombia

Beautiful hostel!! Bit of a trek to get to from Minca town. The motorbikes are a bit sketchy but sooo worth it!! Gorgeous views, beautiful facilities and staff are super helpful. Food was unreal but I would mirror the other reviews and say the portions are quite small so bring snacks! Felt like a resort but was actually fairly social and quite a few solo travellers Highly highly recommend :)

Heaven is a place on earth, and it’s this hostel. The surroundings are (obviously) beautiful, the staff are friendly and will take good care of you, and the facilities are good. Already thinking about when I’ll next be back.
