Nomads Airlie Beach

Avoid this place! Worst hostel experience ever. Zero Wi-Fi in the room, which was super annoying. Then my food got stolen from the kitchen. When I asked for help, the staff was useless—they claimed they "don't have access" to the kitchen cameras. What a joke! Why even have them? On top of that, the kitchen equipment is total trash. Unhelpful staff and zero security. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Avoid this hostel. If you even manage to find cutlery it was likely not clean anyway. Mixed dorm with no working locks on toilet and shower and shower flooded constantly. WiFi doesn’t reach the rooms. The floor next to my bed had ants everywhere and still getting them out of my bag now. No common areas other than a crowded main reception. Facilities are a complete minimum and the place just feels dirty and very outdated. Would never stay there again

I think that the only thing good about this place is the location. If you’re 18 or a low maintence person who only wants to party you MAY be okay. I consider myself pretty mid range I stay in hostels frequently and typically it’s fine. This place was filthy, the room was very isolated and scary to get to at night, the windows didn’t lock and for where the room was located it was just not secure. The location was great but even that is not worth it

Het is soort van een party hostel, als je in een verkeerde kamer wordt geplaatst zit je naast boaty’s, de club. Het was erg vies, ik had kakkerlakken in de badkamer en slaapkamer.

This is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I was only here for 2 nights and needed a cheap place to stay so I booked a mixed room and didn’t get any sleep at all because the girl on the bunk below me had a guy over both nights, shaking the bed, and had no respect for others. It was awful. Even though this isn’t exactly the hostel’s fault, it wouldn’t have happened if they had better security on who comes in and out of the rooms. I don’t even know where to start… The cleanliness of the room and kitchen was really bad. The is no amenities! No soap in the bathroom to wash your hand or a bath mat is the bear minimum. The top bunk bed was just under the AC so it was really cold and there is just a thin sheet to cover yourself… I am very disappointed

Great location but that’s it! The room (a deluxe 4 bed mixed dorm) was by far the worst room I have ever stayed in. Broken window latches, broken taps, broken shower, windows without curtains and old rusty bunk beds! There was nothing ‘deluxe’ about this room, and glad I only had to stay one night! Would not recommend.

Everyone else checking in got into their rooms room between 12 and 2 which didn’t bother me. I tried to check in at the check in time of 3 to be told my room would still be up to half an hour. Two reception staff in particular were very unapologetic and unhelpful but one girl was very friendly. Rooms are very basic and bathrooms were dirty and seemed that they hadn’t been cleaned. To be fair, I only spent one night here, so have a limited picture No storage options in the room, stuff was just scattered around. No outlets at the top bunks. No curtains on the beds which I find really unfortunate, The beds are comfy though, the pool is nice, the staff is friendly, and they organize plenty of social events!

Het is een prima hostel. Wel ontzettend groot, maar de amenities zijn goed en in mijn kamer was het in ieder geval schoon. Dr waren wat kleine dingetjes, het badkamerraam kon niet open, de knoppen van de douch zitten los, en de badkamer is altijd nat, omdat er dus geen trekker oid aanwezig is. Al met al vind ik het wel waard voor mn geld en heb ik er prima kunnen overnachten.

Lage ist gut und die Hostelanlage soweit auch, wobei sie sehr weitläufig ist. Aber die Küche ist nicht ausreichend für so viele Menschen ausgestattet. Überdachte Sitzplätze und Wege gibt es auch zu wenige, wenn es dann mal regnet. Die Zimmer sind okay aber sehr unterschiedlich, manche mit abschließbarem Schrank und manche haben gar keine Schränke oder Ablageflächen. Dafür eigene Badezimmer bzw Toiletten/ Duschen, was sehr gut war.

Pros: Perfect location and nice bathroom. Cons: Cockroaches in the room, door didn’t close fully, wifi was terrible and barely reached the room. The kitchen was revolting, there were flies everywhere, sinks filled with dishes, and awful equipment.

Originally booked for 2 days, but the hostel and the people that came with it, were so great I had to stay 9 days. The staff, espeacially Ellis and Becca were alsways ready to talk and help me when there was a problem. Thank u Ellis and Becca again, for making this stay so enjoyable and ofcourse the whole Hostel.

Super lovely hostel lives up to its reputation, bedrooms were so cosy, comfy duvet & very clean showers! Beca was the most hospitable ☺️

We had the best time in Airlie Beach at Nomads. Ellis and Ana were lovely and made our stay special!!!!

Overall great location and clean beds . Lovely surroundings with trees and birds. However kitchen was disguting and the bathrooms in the room was dated with a few cockroaches and no slip mats which was risky getting out the bath
